HNosegbe: Whether or not Obasanjo has the "moral standing" to write it, I want the grievous allegations levelled in that letter (especially the ones on trained snipers and Nigerians under watch) addressed.
The allegations are being addressed. The $50 b false alarm has been put to its place and SLS is now apologising. Most of the accussations cannot withstand thorough scrutiny. 1000 snipers being trained. He has been asked to provide evidence and We are waiting. You know that the letter is laced with lies just incite the públic against GEJ and reclaim his dwindling political relievance. He is vindictive and wants a.pound back. God is watching. GEJ till 2019. He is doing well.

I am really thankful to APC. They are sucking out the bad blood in PDP. All the troubles in PDP are being displaced. PDP is the new progressive party while APC is turning to the old unproductive PDP.
I will look for a post I made in 2011 where I said that for PDP to be reformed, it will take someone like GEJ who the hawks will Not be afraid of. Someone who can get in and with biting and placating build institutions and flush out powermongers. I was right afterall. You cannot dictate change from outside. Thank You GEJ for proving me right.

“In bourgeois politics, the ongoing development is called ‘realignment forces.’ In the process, those who have been excluded from the ‘come and chop’ policy of the PDP are now being asked to choose their place at the table in case the APC takes over power in 2015,” Mr. Falana said.
Lamenting that the APC leaders did not have any plan to woo the youth who constitute more than 60 per cent of the country’s voting population, Mr. Falana said the mobilisation of the past leaders and other PDP chieftains had basically shown that the opposition leaders were only interested in power.

He said, “The APC has no plan to woo the youth who constitute more than 60% of the voting population. It is the belief of the leaders of both APC and PDP that the 2015 general election is going to be fixed by the traditional manipulators of elections. This is the basis of the ongoing mobilisation of the PDP chieftains including those who cannot win elections in their own wards.

“By wooing discredited military and civilian despots who have destroyed the country since 1966, the APC has shown that it is only interested in power for the sake of power.-Falana

PoliticsRe: Sheik Gumi Reacts To Iyabo Obasanjo's Letter by agabaI23(m): 10:38pm On Dec 20, 2013
ManirBK: Sheik Ahmad Abubakar
Gumi said today that
Iyabo Obasanjo, Chief
Olusegun Obasanjo first
child who wrote a
scathing letter against him
on Tuesday, is a victim of
Westernization.
The respected cleric made the
observation in a social
media post, in which he
described it as “apolitical,
irreligious and un-African,”
noting that the letter had
exposed the Obasanjo
family feud.
“The letter became a distraction
from a
previous one written by
her father addressing very
important national issues,”
Gumi wrote. “Obasanjo is
not a saint, neither is she
one nor most Nigerians
are.
But what is worth noting is that,
at a crucial time
when the nation is
gripped by official
criminality of bloodshed,
financial misappropriatio n,
and moral decadence she
now sees the opportunity
to blast her father.”
He expressed the view that the
letter also shows
Iyabo lacks proper
religious upbringing.
“This is the segment that stirred
my attention. I
don't think any person
with proper religious
upbringing will ever do
that to his parent. I once
heard in the CNN a British
girl calling her Yemeni
father an evil man because
he took her sister back to
Yemen to marry. Evidently
afraid for his daughter the
moral decadence of the
Western society. Iyabo is a
victim of westernization.
One thus wonders what the
Western life does to
humanity.”
The cleric argued that respecting
one’s parents is
among the Jewish ten
commandments which
was also endorsed by
Jesus, “Thou knowest the
commandments, Do not
commit adultery, Do not
kill, Do not steal, Do not
bear false witness, Defraud
not, Honour thy father and
mother” Mark:10:19: and
in Matthew 15:4: “For God
commanded, saying,
Honour thy father and
mother: and, He that
curseth father or mother,
let him die the death.” -CULLED

TechWalker007: @Theshadyexpress and sincere 9gerian, you guys are doing a good job.
Can someone reach Reno Omokri and tell him we are not interested in his weak jibes at opposition critics.
This is the best way to defend GEJ. Abati is not doing much as I expect but common, what's Reno's work?
He needs to remain a pastor and resign as special adviser on new media or roll his sleeves and get to work.

These achievements need to be in every available media: News, sponsored TV programmes, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Nairaland, Blogs, Newspapers, Radio stations etc.
Videos, pictures, articles and all need to fly.
People have been fed lies so much that they actually think nothing is going on.
Even when they are educated, they talk down on the info.
The president's media team need to focus on their real task and stop being on the defensive which helps popularize the opposition's falsehood.
For me, it's not really about returning GEJ in 2015,the people can decide on that but Nigerians deserve to know what's truly happening not some bitter and wicked blackmail from the opposition.
It's our right to know what's happening!
I am agaba123, I endorsed this message!

obayaya: you registered on Nairaland on August 20, 2012 and got a call almost immediately?

Nigga that stuff you are smoking isn't good for your health
May be he collected the money and registered the new ID. What was your ID then @OP?

And why would someone promise him a new ID in nairaland where he can easily create 100 IDs without effort?
PoliticsRe: hello all by agabaI23(m): 2:49pm On Dec 19, 2013
slightlyMad: I had to create this thread following the volume of nairaland users who have DEFINITELY been paid to write good about President Jonathan on social networks.
Sometime in August 2012, i got a call from an unknown number requesting that i'll get 15k deposited into my account every month,
all i have to do is support the current administration on Nairaland.
he promised to provide me with a new nairaland username but i declined
i know a lot of you will say, I am stupid for rejecting such offer but

1. i am worth more than 15K and would not go so low against my country for just 15k
2. i dont want to mess with politics and will never try it.
3. I feel this same pain especially in my area where power supply happens only once in 2 months

The front page thread titled Another look at president jonathan's acheivement ==> https://www.nairaland.com/1557746/another-look-president-jonathan-achievements
got me worried.

This administration has done nothing to help the masses and someone took the pain to compile that long list of ridiculous as achievements?
the first 5 responses were surprisingly in support of these achievements and if you note those accounts, they were created at about that same timerange june - oct 2012 which make me to conclude that they accepted the offer.

coincidentally this happened to be about the time President Jonathan's ads were all over the web "GEJ is working", you remember?

This just goes to show the heights our politicians will go just to keep our voices down.
I have decided to keep this to myself but i figured out that i just have to speak out.
One thing i know for sure, All those who are against Nigeria and have vowed to milk this nation dry will reap what they have sowed
Thanks you.
Go to that thread and disprove any point made by the OP. You are actually flattering yourself that you were called on phone. Who gave the person your phone number? Lets assume someone did or he found it online, can you show us the number that called you? I know you saved it. You cannot get a call from the presidency and a link to the presidency without saving the number. Show us or it didn't happen!

He has a home in Kaduna. He lodges in Sheraton each time he is in Abuja? A night in Sheraton is not N5.

His parochial nature is the reason he is averse to investing in Abuja. If the federal capital was in Katsina, he would've had many buildings there.
