Why do you want them to allow Journalists to be around when they have to discuss among others, the issues of brown envelopes and who gets what. I have had dealings with Union leaders at the highest level and I am aware that they can not negotiate with you without brown envelopes. Quote me anywhere. I have said it on this platform before. The journalist should press charges for assault or in the alternatives, all journalists should boycott all ASUU activities henceforth until their NEC tenders unreserved apologies in a National newspaper.

See them! The same journalist that publicized their case are now not wanted.

If any of these people is appointed the Education minister or let alone becoming the president, they will deal with mercilessly with the masses. A collection of selfish people!

Fast forward to 2013, GEJ is considering running again in 2015 to the chargrin of his political father OBJ(who sees himself as the ultimate political god father whose divine role is to chose who enjoys the plum office in the land), the northern political establishment that view the Presidency as their birth-right, and of course the SW based and Tinibu led group seeking for relevance at the federal level.

I will call this 3 incompatible personalities APC for short. And boy do they really want the presidency, so much so that they have resorted to the only tool or weapon at their disposal: campaign of calumny!
GEJ has EFCC, they have Punch, Saharareporters, and Premium times!

Remember the attack on Oduah? That was a test run. It was tested to show how the various players would co-ordinate action using easily understandable issue such as corruption as a slogan.
Oduah's problem started from either Fani Kayode or Amechi, got amplified and orchestrated by APC media outlets, and monitored by Tambuwal, Amechi, Lamido, Sanusi L Sanusi at the CBN, OBJ, and Tinubu, while IBB stayed out of sight.

When Oduah wasn't pushed out of the bus, the group upped the ante, and took the campaign to GEJ directly.
So, no surprise, the big actors: OBJ, SLS, FFK, Amechi, and Tambuwal all came out and made well co-ordinate statements or allegations about "corruption", They know these to be false or half true at best, because they just want to muddy the water, not catch any fish.

GEJ's success or lack thereof will depend on his ability to understand and even predict these moves.

I think taharqa's analysis revealed the conspiracy in it when OBJ's 2nd Dec letter quoted a revelation that became public a week after.

It should be recalled that ASUU had battled the Buhari/Idiagbon regime’s policy of retrenchment of workers and freezing of wages; gave support to the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) and the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) when they went on their patriotic strike to rescue the deteriorating health services in Nigeria in 1984.

Sincere 9gerian: The turbulence that followed the privatisation of PHCN successor companies appears to be abating as we'r beginning to notice some stability in power supply in most parts of Enugu.

The handover of PHCN successor companies on the first of November was followed by periods of drastic worsening of power nationwide. The problem then was traced to the shocks that accompanied the process of handover and vandalism of critical gas pipelines by sabotuers who were suspected to be agents of APC.

However, with these major pipelines fixed and the new owners of the Discos and Gencos having increasing firm control on the systems, things appear to be looking good.

Nonetheless, with the risk of vandalism by evil elements still high and the expected 1-2 years incumbation period for significant investments by the new owners, it is not yet time for celebration.

So how is the public power supply in your area? Are you also seeing traces of improvement?
