Politics › Nlc And The Present State Of Nigeria by agabaI23(op): 2:07am On Feb 26, 2010 |
I am wondering why the Nigeria labour congress has not said anything about the present confusion. In the past, NLC would have been leading the protest. LABOUR HAS BEEN uncharacteristically quiet. What happened? Did I miss anything? Who is the leader of NLC? He must be very impotent? he is probably from Katsina state.
I miss Adams Oshiomole!
What do you think? |
agaba123 & Fhemmmy, you people have been watching too many mystery movies. Jonathan has executive authority, Yar'Adua has released all his aides and they now take orders from the acting President.
This is the best outcome of this crisis, Jonathan will make sure that Yar'Adua is well taken care of. Expect investments to pour into Nigeria in the coming weeks; expect stability in the ND area. No need to worry in the short term. What exactly are you people afraid of?
Deals have been made, some members of the kitchen cabinet may remain, but Jonathan must replace some of them.
You do not have to blame us if we read meanings into everything. They have played us for long and we don't have to swallow everything hook line and sinker again until we see what they are up to. At least the first action of Turaya is enough reason for everyone to doubt them. We sure hope for the best.
By the way if he is the acting president, why has he not seen the president? |

This was at the order of Thuraya. That women is a good Schemer. A way to distract people's attention until she finishes her evil 'aijenda'. Nigerians should not be fooled.
Was it not the same Segun that said Jonathan will revert to his deputy role?
Who blocked Jonathan from sitting on the presidential chair?
Why was he no aware of the deployment of of national troop?
It is all crazy and filled with lies! |

MzDarkSkin: well in Jamaica bleaching creams are purchased more than basic necessities according to several studies. Some girls/women would use their last dollar to buy "Nice and White" instead of buying a loaf a blasted bread. Pretty sad. Most Jamaican girls dont approve but some bleach and are PROUD. Bleaching is also common among Nigerian girls and I have seen a guy who bleached. However I hate a bleached skin as it can never be natural. |

MzDarkSkin: @Agaba I laughed because I feel the same way. lol. Occasionally I'd see someone who is caramel or lighter and find him attractive but I dont know if it is prejudice or what but I wouldn't date them. I know it's wrong but for some reason I find darker skinned men more masculine. In Nigeria you all don't have the "colorism" disease too? What I mean is the "light vs dark" crap? In America and some parts of the caribbean its a big deal , for some. There is colour preference esp with men. It appears most guys prefer fair skinned girls or kinda associate lighter skins with beauty. So it is not just American but not such a big deal anyway. |
