Afam4eva: I just want to know when he;s going to jail because the last time i checked it's illegal to be gay in Nigeria. do you really think the law will be enforced? ![]() on a more serious note, that guy should be arrested and jailed |
fitzmayowa: Someone is talking from experienceno o. We here stories now. ![]() |
Op don't evn go there. Don't tel me u didn't do something worse dn dt wen u were in secondary schl? ![]() |
Why can't his 'yes' be 'yes' and his 'no' be 'no'? |
You are d guy whose mother shud av flushed down d toilet since conception. ![]() You are d guy who shud be lynched and eaten by dogs. You are d guy whose perceptn of women (includin his mum) is so myopic. Charity dey say begins at home. Permit me 2 ax, do u av a mother? Cos if u do, u'l respect d opp sex. u shud ax urself why u ar like this. |
Op, pls keep it up. I'm currently serving in Katsina & i'd luv 2board a train back to Lagos. |
Dt woman is shameless and stupid. |
Ou em gee! Toolz |
contra: I believe you can still apply for redeployment. The question now is why do you want to redeploy? Katsina is peaceful and the cost of living is cheap. The only problem is the distance back home. I'll advise you stay. Those of us here are not complaining really.Okay. Thanks. Mayb I should stay dn. This means I'm goin to join a church afta orientatn camp 4accommodatn. Between RCCG and Winners, which fellowship do u think is d best? Sorry 4 bombardin u wt lots of questns. Thanks. |
pistol: it seems like na only dis thread reach four pages.why do u regret reploying? I'm seriously thinking of redeploying to Ibadan. I don't av any medical report or marriage cert to use as an excuse, wil dey allow me. Pls advise me, do u think I shud redeploy? I don't knw wat i wnt. |
I'v bn postd 2 Katsina. Seriously, i feel like crying. I don't even knw wat 2 say. |
slimyem: This man don chop "vegetable"...I swear!! I swear down, ògún je. O ti ro efo fun. D first wife shud beta run to God and pray dt He delivers her husband o.What sane man will be talking like dis except dere something behind it. See d way he even turned d Bible upside down. Oga o! |
ibiso1986: Have u had an odd experience at night. Have u had a feeling of someone watching u at night or probably pressing ur neck while asleep.. Feel free to share ur experienceit's a spiritual attack. It used happen to me. My brother told me a solution dt works like magic. Speak in tongues. Yes, wen u feel it, take a deep breath and speak in tongues in ur mind. Don't worry about how to speak but let ur spirit lead and believe in wat u say even it means nonsense to ur flesh( ur body). Believe me it works like magic |
Goshen360: Lord! I can see many professed Christians are very far from what Christianity is about. Many people are still practicing CHURCHianity thinking that is Christianity.u ar wrong. Salvation does not exempt us from spiritual attacks but it only gives us the weapon to fight with. U ar right if u say dt once u ar in Christ u don't really need deliverance. But do u know dt u must av reached a certain level spiritually wt God. Take a man who just got born again and repents from d sin of masturbation, he'l need deliverance to break d chemically reaction he has set in motion in his brain. A man whose father has dedicated to a god needs deliverance. Even a good christian needs deliverance (a combination of fasting and prayer) for spiritual strength. Even Jesus mentioned dt some demons can only b cast out wt fasting and prayer. Jesus' ministry was majorly a deliverance ministry. |
Ocutegan: That's the problem here. People like this are usually carried away by their 'modeling career' and the glamour that comes with it. You don't have to be surprised cos while you were busy jacking your books she was somewhere finding the shoes and bags to match. I don't even think she's loving her academics I have many of them in my department also. By the way, congratulations and I wish you the bestthanks |
Ocutegan: All this beauty queens sef. And I wonder why I had never come across or heard of her in Unilag Faculty of Sci. Well nowadays Nigerian girls look the same with the same cheap toning cream and make up they applyi knw her very well. She won Miss MTH in yr one; Miss Science in yr two; she went 4 Sisi Oge but she was d 1st runner up. Wat baffles me is dt she's my set and we'r supposd to graduate 2gether dis yr (2011/2012 session). So by nxt yr she shud nt b in d uni but she shud b serving. |
AmazeBalls: Akachi Adimora Ezeigbo's books esp the most recent "Roses and Bullets"O boy! Dat book is dry! |
Am feelin this thread and av learnt quite a lot. My wedn is in 5weeks time so its a good platform to share my ideas. Its so sad that couples can't be in control in Nigeria as parents always have different ideas and want to have their way. The only thing u can control is groom and bride apparel. For me, I want a low key wedn of 200guests. 100each from both families. See both parents sayin it will be up to 500guests. I don't want to print IV just to reduce guests, see my own parents objectn to it. I told them bulk sms, bbm and verbally is better, they said no. I want my own digital photographer(a close friend), my parent said they will use the family photographer. The guy is so old school but to them he's classic and more experienced. The bride's parent church is very small and shabby. With old wooden chairs, broken walls and little space. Can only accommodate about 75people. I told both parents its better we use the reception hall for the service, they said no that plastic chairs will be rented and canopies can be errected outside the church. My plan is to paint the church and buy 75plastic chairs and give the pastor as my own special gift. Av gotn a Dj, both parents said live band is better. I said aso ebi isn't compulsory, they said no. Infact there are about 3ypes of aso ebi. So in Nigeria, there is little couples can do to be in charge of the wedn. Even when u hire a wedn planner, parents still av their own plans. I must confess, l don tire for all this wahala. Arguements and disagreement just for an event of few hours. Its so sad sha. Na wa for naija parents. Basic things for any wedn are: 1.Couple Apparel(as u can afford) 2. Good venue(easily accessible) 3. Quality food not quantity alone(use family members u can trust that are committed) 4. Control number of guests(circulate only few IVs) 5. Don't impress people to depress yourself. You will regret it after the wedn 6. Stick to your budget(never ever borrow to fund a wedn) 7. Aso ebi is not compulsory. If u av to do it, both parents, couple siblings and close relatives are okay so there won't be any issue of gift or debt 8. Reception isn't compulsory if u can't afford it(u can package take away food for people after the church service or nikkah) 9. Good music and sound balance 10. Uninterrupted power supply(use a generator and have a back up incase it fails) In a nutshell, wedn is for a day and marriage is for a life time. We should focus more on the marriage. Am just happy that my wife to be is on the same page with me. I luv her so much. May all nairalanders heart desires for their wedn be fulfilled and may we all experience all the blessings of matrimony in jesus name.
|

One of my cousins did dt wen she found out dt her parents want an elaborate weddin 4 her. (Her father is d Baba Ijo of their church). Wen she lied dt a prophet she had never met b4 walked up 2 her and said she must av a simpl wedding or never get pregnant in her life time, they were d ones who wrote d list of d 30guests 2 b invitd 4rm our side. On d wedding day, there was no 'mo gbo mo ya'. Evrybody ate 2 their satisfaction; d souveneirs went round; no fight no noise. D wedding was PERFECT!!! It was after d wedding she confessed dt she lied. |
Tell us why u broke up |
Seriously, they shud make him pay. Why would a state governor subject his citizens to torture for Christ sake? ![]() |
gulfer: Interesting that you said 'yoruba' girls huh, where are you from? Your post reeks of tribal bigotry.!thank u o, God bless u. I'm still trying 2find d semantic justification for d word 'yoruba' in dt sentence. |
@op, there is a Yoruba adage dt says its advisable nt to have bad in-laws. Pray and giv them time. There must b a reason why their love 4u drastically changd 2hate. Probably d priest is tellin them horribl things about u. Wateva d case mayb, pray 2God concerning this. Bottomline, if his family does nt approve of u, just let him go. Don't try 2force urself on them. They may end up frustrating ur life. |
OP - Open d door, leave her inside and go out Tell her 2remember 2 lock ur house wen ever she's done
i hate 2say this but i agree wt 190 100%. Hope my advice is nt coming too late. |
this sounds like a typical nollywood movie 2me. Evry Tom, D:ck and Harry knws dt after one is raped, u go 2 d hospital immediately. |
lmao @ 'tope, wil u eat?' *jamb question* i don't think any guy could b dt stingy . D guy is probably tryin 2test her, IMHO |
jaymdee: Yellow-Yellow by Kaine Agarii'd av added this but i'v been trying 2remembr d author's name. |

People shuld knw d diff btwn dating and courtship. Why go into courtship wen u are nt ready 4 marriage? I think 6mths to 2yrs is enough 4 courtship. |
