Orlando Owoh: I cannot but say sorry to you "Jews". You lost your support for Rochas Okorocha not just because his performance decline but because he joined what you call Awolowo party. Chris Ngige is going to surprise you all. The same Awolowo party he used in defeating Dora Akuyinli is the same party he will use in defeating his rivals tomorrow.
We need to order some mop for these losers to wipe their tears with come Saturday... This is going to be funny.

PoliticsFashola Award Contract For Extension Rail Project To Marina by agbameta(op): 11:43pm On Nov 14, 2013
WorldStage Newsonline-- Lagos State Governor Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) has awarded contract for the extension of the ongoing construction of Blue line lite rail project from National Theatre to Marina.

The Managing Director, Lagos Metropolitan Transport Management Authority (LAMATA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, disclosed this Wednesday at a forum organized by members of the Lagos State Governor's Office Correspondents (LAGOCO) at the state secretariat, Ikeja as part of activities marking its 2013 Press Week.

Mobereola said the project being undertaken by LAMATA was awarded on Tuesday by the governor adding that it would help facilitate movement from Mile 2 to Marina.

He said though the project awarded to the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is very expensive considering the terrain involved, he said on completion, it would help reduce traffic congestion and ease the burden of traffic witnessed daily on the route by residents.

The LAMATA boss who spoke on the topic, LAMATA at 10: Challenges, Successes and Prospects, assured residents of plans to evolve an ultra-modal mode of transportation that would be easily accessible by residents.

“Gradually, people of Lagos have been abandoning Danfo and Molue buses for BRT. We have been reducing waiting time at bus stops, the travel time within the metropolis and we equally reduced transport fare by 40 percent compared to the service being rendered by yellow buses. ”

He explained that the agency has developed a 20-year transportation developmental plan that covers bus, rail and ferry service including provision of good roads for BRT system to run well.

He said part of the plan was the introduction of electronic ticketing system as against the previous paper ticketing system.

Mobereola added that very soon, LAMATA will also introduce Lagos Connect Card that will make it easier for its holder to use in boarding BRT, Lite Rail and Ferry.

On maintenance of BRT buses, he said the agency is aware of the challenges adding that effort are on for training and retraining of operators to ensure that they serve the public better.

“It is something we have been worried about for some time now. It's been a challenge, no doubt but, we did not sit down and fold our arms on the issue.” He added that additional 50 buses will soon be introduced to replace those that are no more roadworthy.

“We've tried, but we have not solved all the problems and challenges confronting transportation in Lagos.

“However, we have developed a 20 year development programme. We believed that Lagos needs seven rail lines and we are in the process of starting the Red Line lite rail project that will run from Alagbado in Ogun State to Marina, Lagos.

“We also believed that Lagos still needs nine BRT routes and we are talking with the state government to ensure commercial centres are put in place on the Mainland to reduce the number of people travelling to Lagos Island on daily basis,” he said.

kingbang: .

You answered nothing

You obviously have reading and comprehension issues..

No, you are the raving mad one for not knowing the meaning of "an APC controlled state" . PDP have legislators from Nassarawa but its still a CPC controlled state.

Edo = APC state? True or false
. Relax with the insults because you can not win that war.

So you have accepted that ACN was a regional party then? good.

Again, poor reading and comprehension skills..

Only lunatics would take Okorocha,Udenwa an co as Igbo leaders. So we are not surprised at that development

Who are your leaders? Obi and GEJ?

lmao..

Again, you have zero leverage...

kingbang: I really don't get what you are yabbing about. I have never implied that APGA is a force to reckon with, i just stated that we Igbo need to build a much stronger APGA. SO remind me again, what is your point?.
My point?

i wonder how you never came to understand that. I have 2 questions to ask you kid.

I answered your questions based on what you said and asked so stop faking ignorance...

Even mad people know that ACN was a regional party

You are wrong because they have at least 1 governor outside SW and they also have election winning candidates outside the SW including the SE. So, you are very wrong and possibly the mad one.

1. How many ACN controlled states are outside SW?

1. Now, how may AGPA state's do you have outside the SE? None.

2. How come Igbo leaders and APGA leadership were not consulted prior to the merger?

They did, the smart and brave ones crossed over to the APC and the PDP related cash and carry ones refused.

I really don't have time for shallow people like you but every true Igbo son knows that we need a platform to be used as a leverage in negotiating for our regional interests.

Again, you have zero leverage...
PoliticsRe: Why The South East, Must ShunThe APC For Now! by agbameta: 7:06pm On Nov 14, 2013
kingbang: Of course i was the first to accept that we have no leverage but i pray that journey starts from Saturday! As for your chest beating son, i am waiting to see how your APC can win a presidential election without block votes from SE and SS. Go figure please.
I said SE and not SS. Last time I checked, SE and SS are 2 different entities and Edo is in the SS and also APC state.

Ngige is ACN/APC and he's from the east, ibo people voted for him under the ACN flags, not Yoruba or Hausa people, he also defeated your local AGPA candidate.

AGPA is pretty much worthless and the fact that Obi is the current brain behind AGPA says a lot about ibo people and their flawed political status and future...
PoliticsRe: Why The South East, Must ShunThe APC For Now! by agbameta: 6:54pm On Nov 14, 2013
kingbang: You couldn't even put up an intelligent counter argument! Just a burst of emotional rant! I am waiting for a sensible counter argument. Even mad people know that ACN was a regional party, i wonder how you never came to understand that. I have 2 questions to ask you kid.
1. How many ACN controlled states are outside SW?
2. How come Igbo leaders and APGA leadership were not consulted prior to the merger?

I really don't have time for shallow people like you but every true Igbo son knows that we need a platform to be used as a leverage in negotiating for our regional interests. You are not Igbo, so you wouldn't understand that.
1. You have no leverage because the wise ones within your boundaries careless about your leverage hence their association with the APC.

2. You have no leverage because AGPA is PDP's local branch in the east.

3. You have no levrage because the North and the SW can win any presidential election without AGPA and the East hence the APC not losing any sleep regarding major vote block in the East.

4. You have no leverage because politically, you have no other home or any choice but PDP/GEJ, meaning you are confined to your local playground in the East and inside GEJ's back pocket.

Bottom line, GEJ or just your local votes sounds pretty much worthless in terms of presidential elections since you can not win anything Nationally without reaching out to the North and the SW.

So, you can beat your chest and stroke your ego till eternity, but the above facts remains your realities..

Some people are soo bitter they would rather the project fail then realize it will benefit all Nigerians-from the investors banks, Dangote (hausa), Jim Ovia(igbo), Tony Elumelu(igbo), Segun Agbaje(yoruba) Including the countless number of igbos efik edos Urhobo itsekriri hausa yoruba ijaw variou tribes from all around nigeria and non-Nigerians from other parts of Africa, who will relocate to Olokola for employment reasons.

its ridiculous, Even a baby with common sense knows that employment in this industrial complex will consists of Professional graduates looking for employment from different tribes and countries across Africa. Eevryone knows Dangote employs regardless of ethnic group or religion.
Funny enough, the same sad, pathetic and negative villagers won't mind to sell their village belongings to migrate to Olokola for survival.
