grafikii: FASHOLA ALWAYS leading
Good for the people of Lagos state, Fashola is always ahead leading.

Also, kudos to Quarra rice mill located in Tsaragi, Kwara State.

lol @ GEJ is working. This is an investment by a private company so what's this really got to do with GEJ and his pose of corruption and incompetence?

It's like saying we can not do it because we are too lazy and incompetent to do it, but we'll take the credit for yours and your hard work.

This is the mentality and how the game is played Aso Rock style. Do nothing and take credit for other people's sweat.

Nigerians don suffer...

The best thing to do here is to extend the proposed cable car network from VI to Ikorodu to ferry passengers and let boats and barges ferry goods.

Construction and operation should be cheaper from VI to Ikorodu because they only need 2 stations... unlike the Ijora to VI network with 13 stations.

Tony Spike: From the little I've seen on this thread, it is obvious that Lagos State is positioning itself as a model. This state is almost on the verge of been run as an independent country. Fashola is building institutions with contemporary world-class concepts and professionalism, which is a very "unNigerian" approach.

Fashola has proven that regional/state autonomy from the Federal Government must be initiated as fast as possible. Regional autonomy is the only way to fast track Nigeria's needed development. The FG should step down and allow this regional constitutional right to happen. If full autonomy with resource control is re-instated, Nigeria will only need a few years to catch-up with the likes of Malaysia, Singapore e.t.c.

Finally, whatever is going down in Lagos reflects the fact that the state maintains a huge wage bill and massive capital expenditure, which answers to some extent, the question asked by a certain folk on this thread.
The state's government's scope of responsibility is very wide and even many Lagosians are clueless about this man's administrative reach and skills or even what the state is paying for. This thread is an eye opener especially for many on NL and elsewhere regarding their ignorance about the so called huge IGR.

What this man is doing and what he's managed to achieve with so little funds is breathtaking and magical.

While we are giving Fashola his due and well deserved credit, let's not forget that many these great agencies were created by TINUBU like many of the great projects Fashola is building on aggressively.

Props to Asiwaju Tinubu.

I took a look at those photograph and what struck me the most was how clean the waste management office was.
International standard I may add.

I have been to many government (federal and state offices around nigeria) and all you see are cobweb ,dirts and absent civil servants.
IT show what good leadership can bring to a state.
Personally , I will like the SW governor to challenge the unconstitutional vesting of the power ,transportation (rail and ports) in the federal government.
The ports especially fall under the definition of a natural resources and Lagos state ought to derive revenues directly from it.

chino24: Its an insult comparing Anambra to a rural state of Oshun. In all indices of development Oshun is an under dog to Anambra! Even Ebonyi which some of you consider somewhat is far ahead of Oshun in development and advancement.

This was the same way you guys claimed that you people are well read and educated until Jamb and Unity school busted you guys. So forget about this newspaper based IGR generation when in the reality its all hoax and mirage. We know why we classify our IGR here in Anambra, if it is made open you guys will have heart attack..lol
Anambra IGR = N450 million, less than Osun

Enugu IGR = N1 billion, less than Osun

Eboyin IGR= N600 million, less than Osun

Imo IGR = 1 Billion, less than Osun

ABIA IGR = N600 million, less than Osun

Bottom line, Osun state's IGR is higher than all the ibo states.

So who's really poor....?

I keep telling you people, stop beating that shallow and empty chest because there is nothing there and you can not substitute silly and thoughtless emotions with facts and reality..
