Politics › Re: Read What Senator Ngige Thinks About Apga(the Igbo Party) by agbameta: 9:25pm On Sep 26, 2013
Willy4Willy: Yorubas want to use Ngige to conquer Igboland, after they succeeded , they will then Mock the Igbos, even Brig Benjamine Adekunle and his family are card carrying members of Yoruba Formed APC.
1. So, how come ibo people didn't vote for AGPA the so called ibo party or send any AGPA senator to Abuja?

2. How come ibo people didn't vote for ojuku and the so called ibo party?

3. Why is Ngige representing ACN/APC and not the so called AGPA the ibo party? Ibo people didn't know Ngige's ACN and so called Yoruba affialiation before voting for him and sending him to Abuja insterad of the so called ibo AGPA party candidiate?

AGPA/Ibo party is a silly figment of your imagination, AGPA is PDP's branch in iboland and folks like Obi are PDP ibo branch officers in Iboland.

Ibo people are yet to show any interest in AGPA as a political party and the fact that instead of AGPA, Ngige of ACN/APC defeated the AGPA candidiate in ibo land because ibo people rejected AGP as a political party and they did the same thing to Ojuku himself so who are you fooling?
Flood In Uyo Prompts Mockery Of Gov Akpabio’s ‘Uncommon Transformation’ Slogan-PREMIUM TIMES
Mr. Akpabio, the two-term governor of Akwa Ibom State, is well known for praising self as the man behind ‘the uncommon transformation’, a boastful reference to his administration’s modest effort at building modern infrastructures like roads, bridges, a few public buildings for government use as offices and a cinema within the state capital.
But the curse of heavy rain these days is pushing the people to show just how low they think of Gov Akpabio’s claims.

During the heavy rainfall people in Uyo were busy taking photos of a city ravaged by flood and posting them along with their satirical comments on facebook and other social networking sites..
Princess Etim, a female journalist residing in Uyo is one of the few who were quick to post on her facebook page, a photo of the flood on Atiku Abubakar Avenue, Uyo.
Etim took the photograph with her BlackBerry Smartphone, and mockingly tagged it as ‘Uncommon Atiku River’.
grin grin

The flood on Atiku Abubakar Avenue not bigger than uncommon IBB River,” says Helen John, whose facebook profile indicates she is an assistant editor with the Akwa Ibom State-owned The Pioneer newspaper
grin grin

A post from David Augustine, the editor-in-chief of Weekly Insight, reads “ ‘After just three minutes of rain in Uyo, our drainage system (the best in Africa) would do the magic and it will be so dry, you would think it never rained’ Who said this and to whom and when [b]….?
”]grin grin

And another post reads: “Akwa Ibom is working jare…[b]you guys aren’t seen nothing yet…uncommon rain, uncommon flood… ado ok!”
grin grin

Gov Akpabio is widely celebrated in the local media and the Peoples Democratic Party for “governing Akwa Ibom State well”.
grin grin

But residents say beyond the facade, the poverty and unemployment rate in the state remained among the highest in the country.
Local contractors are routinely ignored for multinationals in the execution of infrastructural projects, and residents complain of huge capital flights from the state.grin grin

The largest employer of labour in the state remain the civil service which is already overstaffed.!”
Most state-owned industries have closed shop and the state is not known to have attracted any substantial investment in spite of Governor Akpabio’s several overseas trip in search of foreign investors
grin grin

The Anglican Bishop of Uyo Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Isaac Orama, recently advised Governor Akpabio to fight the widespread unemployment and poverty in the state

Power: Again, Lagos sets the pace in IPP

Before 1999, the National Electric Power Authority,NEPA, had the sole monopoly of power generation and distribution in Nigeria. While there were suggestions on how to break that grip, Lagos State became the first state to do so with the initiation of Enron Power Project on August 1, 2009.

Pioneering Role of Lagos in Power Projects

Today, the AES project is supplying close to 230megawatts to the Egbin Thermal Station, from where the power is feed into the National Grid.

The only issue under contentionwas that the power generated from AES was being transmitted to the National Grid for the use of the entire country, instead of only Lagos and this bordered on alleged failure by parties to honour contractual and business obligations.

Willy4Willy: That is why Yorubas have to grateful and thank Jonathan for all good he has done for them. For the first time Yorubas can afford to built international Airport.
During the Abacha regime Yorubas were hunted down, Abacha made sure many Yoruba eat Sand Sand as food, Yorubas became poor and many sold their Houses, but today because of Jonathan and the love he had on Yorubas, Yorubas are now prospering, people that eat Sand are now building Airport, Kudos to President Jonathan.
How come we don't see the same level of massive development in iboland on NL like we se from the SW everyday even after 99% ibo votes and support for GEJ?

1. Is it because of GEJ's lack of love and affection for ibo people

2. Is this the reason why instead of building a new airport for you like Aregbe is doing in Osun, he repainted your village landing strip and nothing more in iboland combined because that's all you're worth to him?

3. Is it because he doesn't care or take ibo people and their 99% votes seriously and instead love and down for Yoruba people especially in Osun that didn't vote for his dullard asssss?

4. Is this why he's yet to give you your 30 years beg beg village bridge while the SW is building bridges and flyovers everywhere?

There are more pressing needs that will affect the majority of the populace.

Stick to topic. You can create another useless thread for that one-just as you always do *winks*.
Face the status on ground.
You posted photos of fashola and british high commissioner, meanwhile hailing fashola and posting Lagos flags or whatever those things are, like some huge project was commissioned.
Now answer me this, is taking photos with british high commissioner a commissioned project/achievement?
Why are you treating it like it was some trophy or achievement? [/s]

US folks from the CG to ACG have visited 3 times also including the Russians, Canadians, French, Italians and so on..
