Don't Vote For A Man Who Thinks Foreign Rice Is Not Good For Nigerians But Foreign Hospital Is Good For Him And His Family. |
I'm from Ika, Delta North part of Delta state. Over here, Number 2 is very true and I have seen it multiple times. But like someone said in previous page,Delta is a multi-cultural state and I don't think the tradition exist in every part of Delta. For example, the married Men in ijaw part of Delta has this tradition of buying New wrappers for their wives whenever she commits Adultery. This is done because they believed that another Man has seen their wife's unclothedness hence the new wrapper and the adultery committed by the wives have no effect on their Men. But if someone(i.e A man) from my side marries an Ijaw woman where Adultery is accepted, it will affect the Man if he is eating her food and also sleeping with her, and if such woman continues in her Adultery ways, The thing will end up killing the Man later on. The major thing here should be what is forbidden in your side and not your wife's side. NB: Those things I mentioned above WILL ONLY affect you IF you are eating her food and sleeping with her. The Children are never affected. |

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, yesterday in Abuja claimed that the government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had fulfilled all the promises it made to Nigerians. The minister who made this claim while answering questions from journalists in the State House, further argued that the government had met all its obligations to Nigerians. Promising that the government is determined to do more in the New Year, Mohammed who said he had made the portrait of President Muhammadu Buhari in five different Nigerian cultures, wished everyone a Merry Christmas. “I wish everybody Merry Christmas and as a government, we are happy that we have been able to meet all our promises, all our obligations to Nigerians. And as the year rolls out, we are more determined to even deliver more to Nigerians. “I wish to use this opportunity to wish everybody merry Christmas and a happy new year. “I made a portrait of Mr. President in five major Nigeria attires. One is in Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Efik and one in suit. It is reminiscent of the portrait we used during this campaign,” he said. On fear that the National Assembly may shut down the 2019 budget following the hostilities against the president by lawmakers while presenting the Appropriation Bill on Wednesday, the minister said it was not in the tradition of the executive to trade words with the National Assembly. Describing the National Assembly as an independent arm of government, Mohammed said the executive had done its part, leaving the rest for the federal legislature to also play its own role. “It is not the practice of the executive to be exchanging words with the legislative arm of government. They are independent. We are independent but to the best of our knowledge, we presented a budget, given the circumstances of our resources this year. We feel that is the best we can. It is left for the National Assembly to consider it,” he submitted. SOURCE> http://saharareporters.com/2018/12/22/lai-mohammed-says-apc-has-fulfilled-all-promises-nigerians |
For those that can't click the link. I am a philosophy student and I am aware that inductive reasoning can be shallow but at least it can give us an idea and a good insight about what is before us. Okay, somebody just said, ‘Lola what is inductive reasoning’ In a simple term, inductive (from induction) reasoning is when you are predicting the future based on the past experience. Deciding how the 2019 general Election will affect NYSC 2019 Mobilization based on how the 2015 general Election affected the NYSC 2015 mobilization might be a little off, but hey! That’s the only option we have for now. How Did 2015 General Election Affect 2015 NYSC Mobilization The 2015 General Election held on the 28th, March 2015 and there were only 2 major effects it had on the National Youth Service Corps programme. 1. The first effect was the cancellation of NYSC 2015 Batch C. Because the NYSC management could not mobilize any set in January and February, because of the 2015 General Election, they scrapped batch C and only mobilized NYSC 2015 Batch A and B. 2. The second prominent effect was the shift in the NYSC mobilization timetable. The NYSC shifted NYSC 2015 Batch A Mobilization date from Tuesday, May 5th to Tuesday, May 26th, 2015. The 2015 general Election was hit with the postponement, because of threats from Book Haram then, so the date for the NYSC mobilization also suffered some movements. NYSC 2015 Batch A Mobilization Time Table S/NO Event Date 1 2015 Batch A pre-mobilization workshop. 17th – 19th December,2014 2 Briefing/Sensitization of final year students and prospective corps members. 19th – 23rd January, 2015 3 Display of list of all approved programmes for institutions on NYSC portal for cross checking 1st – 15th February, 2015 4 Submission/Uploading of Senate/Academic Board Approved Result and Revalidation Lists by CPIs 16th – 21st February, 2015 5 On-line Registration by Foreign and Locally trained Nigerian Graduates 2nd March – 4th April, 2015 6 Notification to prospective Corps Members on their mobilization status 13th – 14th April, 2015 7 Delivery of print-outs to CPIS. 15th – 17th April, 2015 8 Verification of Complaints from prospective Corps Members in all NYSC state secretariats/FCT 17th – 18th April, 2015 9 Submission of Marital/Ill-health cases by CPIs. 20th – 22nd April, 2015 10 Notification for on-line printing of call-up letters 27th April, 2015 11 Delivery of call-up letters to CPIs 27th – 29th April, 2015 12 On-line printing of call-up letters by Prospective Corps Members/Collection of call-up letters in the schools 27th April – 4th May, 2015 13 2015 Batch A Orientation Course 5th – 26th May, 2015 Some people say the NYSC was scared of post-election riot or any circumstances, that was why they had to shift it away. Those are the two effects that the 2015 general Election had on NYSC mobilization in 2015. What Possible ways can 2019 General Election affected Mobilization Now, based on the 2015 experience, the NYSC management made sure the NYSC mobilization began with a month distance to the election. We can then assume that the NYSC 2019 Batch A Mobilization will also be after the election which is 16th February 2019. You will all agree with me that mobilization cannot take place during the election. However, some might want to ask why it cannot be before the election. It would have been good if mobilization comes before the election. Reason Why Mobilization Can’t Come Before Election The NYSC mobilization have to do with a lot of things which makes it difficult to come before the election. The uploading of Senate lists to the NYSC database will take about a month, some schools will not meet the deadline so an extension of date is possible. The registration will take weeks and the release of the Call-up letter can take weeks too. The fact is how will all these processes of NYSC mobilization take place before February 16th, 2019? I don’t see that coming. The Wild Guess Still basing on the NYSC 2015 month distance after the general election, we can the make a wild guess that is if the 2019 General Election should take place by February 16th, 2019, adding a month break will result to April. Please, this is just a wild guess based on the calculation from 2015 and it is very much possible to be wrong. I am just giving you an idea. So the idea we can arrive at as the Mobilization date for the NYSC 2019 Batch A will be April. I arrived at this based on the explanation above. You might have a different view which I will love to hear about below in the comment box. I am sure this article will give you an insight about NYSC 2019. And as soon as we hear anything from the Official, you will be the first to hear about it. If you have another theory, or you have a question or anything to say, you can use the comment box below. |
