discusant: You truly mean that a citizen lamenting zero megawatt electricity in his country is myopic?
My senses are insulted.
Well. some sets of Nigerians have set a very low standard of expectations from their political leaders.
But the sadness us that you people of low expectations strive to draw others with very high expectations to remain in one Nigeria with your lot. I still don't get it though, why is BMB making noise on Twitter? Why not move motions in the house, call attention of the other senators to it (in case they are blind), summon the minister responsible for the power ministry? |

If this had happened in the South West, this bunch of misfits would have had a field day spitting thrash. On a side note though, the government should do more in curtailing the activities of the fulani herds men and Buhari needs to be vocal with his condemnation of their ills. Silence on his part means he is in tandem with their nefarious acts |

Oh yes you are right, I'm not really saying its so expensive, I'm just saying the cost of living in Oyo state compared to Ib is extremely cheap. Stop rubbing it in jor. I hope you know Ib is in Oyo state? I guess you were referring to Oyo town though (I'm not familiar with the local government where your ppa is) |

Every time I remember issele uku orientation camp and the conditions at okpe Kingdom, I'm tempted to curse Delta State govt and the officials of NYSC Delta. Enjoy Oyo State, I will have to disagree about the cost of living in ibadan though; food is cheap, transportation is cheap, relatively housing is cheap too |

Quakertellicus1: It would only work if
1.The owners are willing to sell. And something tells me most of them won't sell. Forex is HIGHLY valuable right now.
2.And anyway...20bn is not enough. We need more than that. Much more. Quick question In a situation where we are food self sufficient and we are able to produce all we consume (technology and the likes) with little or non available for export. Will the current challenge still be ongoing? |

tobimillar: After tombia bridge Isn't it going to be too close to the shell gas plant along that ammasoma road? Safety concerns!!!
The level of poverty in most of the riverine communities especially those in southern Ijaw local government (with the exception of ammasoma of course) , ekeremor and those in ogbia is terrible. Asides the almost 24 hour light enjoyed by some communities who are host to some oil majors, most of those communities don't feel any impact of the state government.
I wish the 13% derivative is paid directly to the host communities. Hopefully we will begin to see high rise building in this communities...
Alamco had his flaws, BUT people still revered him. He was paying 10k to corpers before Jonathan brought it down to 5k and that cocaine addict sylva brought it to 3k. An objection to paying the derivative directly to the host communities, some of the leaders in this communities are worse than your average politician, speaking from ongoing experience. |

new2020: Shattap there...how many yoruba today still eat Amala? Why did you last eat Amala? They have all abandoned it since discovering nutritious Igbo, Efik and Ibibio foods...which are very similar. Go to Igbo, Efik and Ibibio restaurants and see how yorubas are leaking their hands without attention to their surroundings. Yoruba have no foods, the little you have are not nutritious that why most yorubas look malnourished. Kikikikiikiki, kwontinu to wallow in your IGNOLANCE my BLODA |

Obviously there are some igbo foods I will eat that I won't enjoy simply because I wasn't brought up with them which is what applies to you. Instead of you to admit that is the case, you are busy calling amala a nonsense food. Anu pama |

Lolllllll! Stop showing your ignorance son. First of all, for someone claiming to be a literate, your command of English is very poor and the fact that you are making generalizations based on a negligible number shows the level of your reasoning. I can confidently say that the percentage of Yoruba folks with tribal marks is not more than 10 percent of the whole tribe and majority of this percentage are the aged. To sum it up, if not that you have the IQ of a sheep, you would have realized that taking herbs is way more beneficial to your body than the white chalks you call tablets. |
