I understand you want to see your ethnic group as the best but you don't have to be deluded and making rubbish claims.

Yoruba tradition (ifa and orisha) are widely celebrated in Americas (north and southern Americans) and some of them trace their origin to yoruba people in Nigeria.

Igbos are into trade that's why they are loud, when xenophobia was happening last year and nigerians there was returning home people thought igbos would be like 90% of the population there but everyone was shocked seeing even more people coming home are from South West.

But if you reach south Africa they mostly knows igbos, been loud doesn't make you populated.

Business Post Nigeria
Brazilian Tourists Vow To Promote Yoruba Culture | Business Post ...

Shut your dirty mouth, If we add the Igbo DNA carriers in the carribeans and south America. The Igbo population will dust yoruba population by several millions.

You want to pretend that most African Americans are not of Igbo heritage, you want us to fill this thread with pictures of AAs rediscovering their Ibo roots? Most Jamaicans are of Igbo descent, the Jonkunu yam festival in Jamaica and Carribeans stems from the Igbo culture, do yorubas celebrate yam festival?
The word 'Unu' in Jamaican patois and Carribean pidgin is an Igbo word derivative. The first black president of Haiti was a former slave of Igbo descent.

So if you yorubas want to go that lane, be our guest, as we all know that if we factor in Igbo-descendant population in the Americas and Caribs and add it to the local population and in diaspora, 200 million will be a conservative figure for Igbo global population count.

they are clowns. They think population is an achievement even if it's a fake figure.

Their entire region is like one south west state (Oyo).

Jukunland is bigger than SE which is just a part of Iboland but Jukuns are still a tiny minority far below Ibo population.

I've always told you yoruba numbskulls that geographical land size is not equal or correlative to population size.

Immigrants are found everywhere.

They are talking about language. Even though you travel everywhere you actually help increase the spread of your host language, not yours.

Indigenesouly Igbo is only found in Nigeria. Your language is not dispersed across boundary lines.

Indigeneously the following are spread across West Africa and their languages are widespread.

Yoruba and Hausa languages colonized others.

Kanuri - Nigeria, Chad
Hausa - Nigeria, Niger, Benin
Bariba - Nigeria Benin
Yoruba - Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Sierra Leone.
Fulani - Nigeria, Cameroon, Niger, Mali, Ghana, Guinea,

Spread of language is not a yardstick for population. English is spoken in more than 80 countries by more than 3 billion people but the English are less than 55 million people. Kanuri is spoken in Cameroon, Niger, Chad and Nigeria but they are still a minority tribe.

Jukunland is bigger in geographical spread than the South East but the Jukuns remain a tiny minority.

In Nigeria, the Ibos are the most travelled people, they see the whole world as their space and move without hindrance to live and settle in strange lands. That bravery is what makes the Igbos more populous than the yoruba.

Argue as you may, the Ibos are dominant in their land and are the second most dominant after the indigenous population outside their regions within nigeria.

Outside Nigeria within Africa, the Ibos are found in large population in EVERY African country and outside Africa are easily the most populous Nigerians found in other non-African countries cummulatively. 2 in every 5 Africans in diaspora are Nigerians, 1 out of that two is usually an Igbo, the other 1 could come from any other 350 tribes within nigeria.

These are facts laid bare, not your Ewe Ironyin or Yemi kale statistical jargons.

Core yoruba tribalists don suddenly turn nationalists calling every other tribes to come to their aid. Imagine if an Ibo like Okonjo or Soludo was on this hot seat right now. They would have declared the Igbo diplomat guilty before trial.

I have nothing personal against Akimwunmi but the known anti-Igbo tribalists here like seunmsg and co. have no right to call for 'national defense' because their brother is about to skinned alive. grin

The only tribe that dominate popoulously in their lands, second most populated outside their homelands after the indigenes in states within Nigeria and scattered in every nook and cranny of the world are the Igbos.
They have town union and ethnic union associations in every country and continent in the world.
It is just impossible to downplay their huge population.

Revolutionaries and presidents are all born for different purposes.

But are very important in the life of every true nation.

Ohamadike is very much right, he knows he is born for the restoration of Biafra but will step aside as an elder stateman when it is time to build, except Biafrans insists on his leadership in peacetime.

I trust Ohamadike on this one at least he has proven to be opposite of buhari and his fake "chainji' promises. 1 dollar is now N480 but APC promised $1= N1.

We know who to trust between Ohamadike and his dullard haters in lying APC. grin

That night was one of the best moments of "Who wants to be a millionaire".

There was one question asked by Frank Edoho, the question was actually about his neighbor (who was a public figure). The dude just smiled, Frank was shocked when he told him that was his neighbor.

I benefited from the program as well, one time I went for the show as an audience & won "fastest finger" grin It was 20 of us @ 20k each.

Still has the congratulatory note with my name on it from MTN in my archives.

The neighbour in question was a football referee right? I think I remember quite vividly.

The part in bold is obvious even to the blind. The US government in junction with some western powers orchestrated the allegations right from the start. They raised so many irrelevant issues with the hooebthst one would stick. Even if Adesina is cleared by the independent investigation, they will still disagree and come up with more issues.

Sadly, Nigerians cannot even unite behind him not to talk of asking the entire continent to rally round him. The west will continue to dominate and dictate the progress of Africa except we grow some balls and stop them now.

Why is that no hausa or fulani man is declaring support for yoruba brother Adesina, I thought you guys are in political alliance? Why is that only it is only Ibos (whom you love to hate) like Okonjo, Arunma etc that are supporting him?

Fulani diplomats like Ibrahim gambari, Aisha mohammed have all abandoned him but Ibo diplomats are trying to save his hide.

Would you yorubas do the same if an Ibo man was on that hot seat right now? We have past records to show how you yorubas have slandered Ibo technocrats and diplomats. We saw it in the Onyema case, where you specifically declared him guilty and asked him to surrender to the FBI. I think the Ibos should mind their business and let water find it's level on this issue.

The powers that want him out are bigger than Nigeria or West Africa as a whole and the Ibo should not stand in the way. Our heads will not be used to break coconut for the benefit of you yorubas who are morally deadened with anti-Ibo hate in your hearts.

Let's hit the nail on its head properly.

Hausa language is the lingua franca in Lagos ports. It is well known. The hausas know the East won't take that nonsense in the Eastern ports, that's why they frustrate and starve our ports from development while being cheered on stupidly by the yorubas who think they are mistreating Ibos. grin

The chicken has come home to roost. Now they are lamenting.

If the landlocked north had contact with the atlantic, even an inch, lagos would be dead a long time ago. This is 100% fact.

yorubas who want to work with the ports in yorubaland should start learning Hausa. By 2023 we will help the fulanis and hausas tighten your noose, since you have sworn never to see any political good in an Igbo man.
