PoliticsRe: Are Igbos And Yorubas Ready For War? by Ahuitzotl: 11:21pm On Jul 31, 2014
gratiaeo: Actualyy Yorubas are not cowards because they are worse of than cowards, I cant simply understand how Yourbas Leaders were imprisoned in the 60s for crimes they did not commit and the whole Yoruba nation kept mute until Nzeogwu Struck.

As if that was not enough when the second coup came ogundipe who was the most senior office in the army ran away to London rather than seize the opportunity offered by the leadership vaccum.
The whole world were taken aback again when in 1976 during Dimkas coup OBJ the Vice president was no where to be found , rather when the coup was squashed some northeners like TY danhjuma had to call him out o his hiding place to make room for his presidencey.

In 1993 Abiola the Field Marshall of Yoruba Land (AAre On kakanfo) was jailed by an ordinary Nigerian soldier his crime was winning an election again, the whole Yoruba nation ccould not live up to expectation , at a time an ordinary Major in the Army Major Al mustapha made 17 Yorubas generals to frog jump and eventually imprisoned the vice President who is a yoruba man O.O Diya for live his only saving grace was that Abach died in power.

The SW is the only group that never contemplated coup through out the history of Nigeria, Even the minorities in middle belt and south south carried out very bloody coups that shook the nation,The Yoruba nation eventhough interested in coups cannot perform they only fight a Governmet from the pages of Newspapers.
Even an ordinary henry Okah that was imprisoned by Yaradua gave Nigeria sleepless nights however 17 yoruba Generals , including Abiola , O.O.Diya and the buffon OBJ were on death row and the yorba Nation was mute like a dead dog only making noise in the streets of London and washington.
Wallahi, you are a great historian. We never anticipate this cowardice streak to be so strong in the yeriba gene. From the days of afonja to the days Awo-ole down to our time of OBJ, Abiola and the weeping generals.... Pardon me if i may ask but where is Diya right now? No be im junior dey campaign for senate president and governorship?? I guess our coward general is still traumatized by the whole weeping incident....

PoliticsRe: In The Event Of A Break War, How The Middle Belt Will Align/fare by Ahuitzotl: 10:37pm On Jul 31, 2014
In the event of War the middle belt will try to stay neutral although we cannot say for kogi and kwara who most likely will anticipate an annexation by the North with little or no resistance from the south west. All developing countries need the coast to thrive therefore the north will be faced with an invasion of the south west, using the Illorin axis as a staging area or FOB,with excellent intelligience reports from the muslims amongst the yorubars, the North should make quick work of securing Lagos....This will relieve tensions in the Benue in the long run as the north occupies the south west thus will have no impetus for invading Benue or South East..The main 'christian' yorobar force will be reduced to harrassing guerrilla strikes staged across the border from the Cotonou-Portonovo axis..In order to secure their gains and their eastern flank the North will seek a mutual detente with the igbos thus reducing the war to one front in the west coast. torkaka: Chief, face the harsh reality, the location of the igbo states makes the region a sitting duck!!

More than any other group, they need alliances!! Don't for a second be deceived by the concrete fortification LOL
My friend keep quiet, the north is not as tech savvy as you make them to be, heck they are not even literate how much more of setting 'seige weapons' to strafe the east.In any event of a war the side closer to the sea has the advantage of supplies and logistics.Igbos are brilliant busines strategists therefore we make good military planners and tacticians. The MB has a predominant flat terrain and so it will be nice for tank warfare,we just wonder what supply line will the north get through their armour and artillery to the south......the sahara??.Igbos need to turn the MB into a buffer zone and that will be easy as we push our American made armour from the ports up to confluence of the Niger.... Their fears are understandable given some health workers aid the spread from an infected person to another in quarantine who might be ebola free but wil invariably be incidentally infected and so the cycle continues.......The workers could even spread it from remote villages to townships onto cities since they are the only group with veritable means of transportation and logistics.. Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 8:55pm On Jul 30, 2014

Don't flatter yourself...B2s will get blown off by S 400s.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 8:40pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: We can go on about the stealthiness of the B2, you and I know it is a deep strike aircraft capable of penetrating even the most saturated of SAM sites. Weaken air defences and make way for other aircrafts to carry out bombing run.
The B2 would appear inconsequential on a radar screen thus making it hard to detect.

IR signture is low. Heat seekers have nothing to even Lock on.

Technically it has knocked out your SAM sites and disappeared before you even know it was there.

At best your only chances are lighting up the whole sky with missiles and pray you hit it...probability of that happening is ermm.....Zero!!
Because The B-2's operational altitude
imposes a flight time for defensive weapons that
makes it virtually impossible to engage the aircraft
during its weapons deployment.
I give up!!!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 8:08pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: ..That's what I've been hammering all this while, you can't eliminate the use of aerial components in battles/war, be it manned or unmanned.
What am also saying is they are very vulnerable and hence are not as decisive in major conflicts today as most people believe them to be...
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 8:03pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: ......Talking about Heat(IR) then you should know it's hard to pick up an IR
signal from great distances
Some space SATs can pick up IR how much less advanced dedicated heat-seeking battery systems..
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 7:48pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: ..More like we are heading for the era of Unmanned aerial warfare
That is why drones are in high demand to supplement the numbers of expensive trained pilots and aircrafts....How bad would it look like for a $1 million trained pilot to get shot down in his $50million jet by a missile costing $250,000...
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 7:43pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: .......... Now I'm confused!!
[b] We was talking about heatseekers and afterburners then you said something about lock which in this case is redundant because locks are function of radar not heat (our current subject) and then you went of tangent about radar resignation and stealth but we had to bring you back to heat, heatseekers and afterburners..

Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 7:34pm On Jul 30, 2014
Wallie: lol...you have no idea what you're talking about. Self propelled ballistics? Like cruise missiles that we fire in the hundreds from ships and submarines off-shore when we detect enemy radars?
Don't hurt yourself,self-propelled ballistics are generally missiles with long range and high speed....Most are generally quicker than jets....expensive american jets
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 7:30pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: Yes these expensive jets would become obsolete that's why you hear 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, 5th Gen.......All these jets were once expensive and ruled the skies in their days.
Aircrafts generally will be withdrawn from major war offensives because military strategies with the prevailing advanced ballistic systems will make their role in the front,no matter the generations, useless just like expensive battleships...
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 7:24pm On Jul 30, 2014
skullz: Thanks for admitting radar plays an important role in acquiring targets.

The B2 is STEALTH remember, it has a radar absorbent skin......The B-2 is designed to contain its own radio signals, the electromagnetic energy generated by
onboard electronics. The plane does emit radio energy when using its radar scanner or
communicating with ground forces and other aircraft, but the radar signal is small and highly focused,
making it less susceptible to detection.
We are talking heat not radar...
Nairaland GeneralRe: Top 10 Most Expensive Military Planes by Ahuitzotl: 7:16pm On Jul 30, 2014
Wallie: In theory, after B2s fire off a missile IR can be used to detect them but, again, you're not just fighting a B2! You're being attacked from all sides possible! Plus, if you attempt to lock on them with your radar, you're essentially leaving a return address for other systems to attack you. Why do you think during all the wars that the US participated in in the last 20 years, they have very few confrontations in the sky?

Russia is about the only country that can have significant kills when confronting the US in the sky! If you put your plane up there or turn on your radar, it is going to turn into a pile of ashes. Simple.
What scenario are you talking about? we thought we was squaring off with one B-2,now you say (change the goalposts) we got multiple bogeys?! against one lonely battery?!!, that is not a feasible nor strategic or a tactical scenario..It can never happen....If it is an air raid or a bombing run then its imperative the radar stations must be knocked out but how is it possible when most are very mobile with thick camouflage?? O.k, so you manage to knock off some and drop your bombs then how do you escape with heatseekers all over the sky, else you shut your engines and crash....Yes,Russia is the best in advanced missile weaponry that is why expensive american jets will become obsolete very soon.
