Dannyxy: ol' girl what did I do?why can't I face you, do you have two heads? where did I insult you? when I said you are insulting others but don't have a pic? is that an insult?, or is it where I sang a song?, which one is an insult?. oh, ehen, you feel insulted, but you where running down others pic because according to you "they signed up for it", why should you now feel offended by my post? after all you signed up for it..
like I say I am responsible for what I post not what you understand. peace
OK. Continue. Enjoy yourself, I certainly am. I don't really care what you say or do, it means less than nothing to me undecided grin

ochon: LOL. When you see such page again, give me the link, I need to laugh off my àss. Life's too short to be having deformed faces over people eating wantonly and having a shot at $300, 000.
I will definitely do that. They were really Anti-BBA. It's like they were facebook members who got frustrated from past BBAs where they spent money, time and effort voting only to get cheated by the 'system'. So now if you are their member, you must never vote during voting times grin grin And you must diss your heart out of ANY country. So if they diss Nigeria, I had to swallow a lot oo it wasn't funny. But it was refreshing grin

OK, the group is called "Big Brother Africa - Watch, Diss & Don't Vote" so just search them on Facebook grin Below is what they recently wrote about JJ....

"JJ the Zimbo dwarf has to be the 1st one OUT! IK can even evict him on the 1st day. No one would miss him or complain anyway.
Whoever chose him to represent Zimbabwe again, must hate that country so much, coz otherwise why bring them such a needy dwarf ? What I saw last season when he was in the house as a fake housemate was enough for me to decide that he's as weak and useless as they come. Instead of going buckwild and having as much fun as he could've in the house(coz he only had limited time), he was busy chasing Dillish. WTF did he think would happen? He had this needy vibe about him...just like Hakeem. Clearly Zimbabwean men are annoying, emotional, clingy softies...everything a man should NOT be!
I dont see how JJ would even come close to the final week. But I ain't complaining...Zimbos have always had this cheap arrogance about them. Misdirected arrogance for that matter, coz the 1 person that deserves that arrogance from them is their inconsiderate presid... Oh shit I'm runnin outta ink!
Later!

*HateMe Admin*"

And what they wrote about our very own Lillian....you see this is what we all have to go through. The same way we are beefing Rwandans and Malawians, is how they are all beefing us. So why hold back??

"Soooooooo this Nigerian girl's got a tramp stamp on her lower back...? Ok! Hope the guys have sssshhhhhhharpened their middle fingers well because she's gonna require their services as time goes by. That's what tramps do mos...So don't act all surprised or defensive. I ain't got time for emotional rubbish here.
And so far the SA dude seems like he's gonna be the lucky one as his fingers are as long as an average Naija dick. So he might just be the lucky one. Unless one of the other guys decides to go do finger enlargements NOW...There's not much time left!
Only 6 days to go!!! So hurry hurry hurry!!!

*HateMe Admin**"

Dannyxy: if we all agree on the same things, won't the world be a boring place,
see ehn, i can defend anybody I like, it's also my prerogative!!, and I will keep defending anybody I like, That's why this is a F.O..R.U.M so any people without sensibilities or sensitive hearts for other people's headache, too bad.
so because you signed up for nairaland you can accept Insults, ridicule and diss from just anybody, yes that's what you are implying.
you too please don't come here questioning why I defend anybody, what's good for the goose, is good for the gander... muhehehe, you diss, I defend, life moves on.
ol' boy sit down abeg grin You know what you did. Defend if you like but don't face me. Other people defended, like IyawoTM, but with a reasonable manner. Not your way of going roundabout to insult the person who made the comment. Defend all you like, but watch you don't get misunderstood.

Peace grin
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 1:02pm On Sep 30, 2014
ochon: I had to write that before people starts getting scared of airing their opinion. Don't know why people hate criticisms of any kind.
True. I was even starting to feel weird about commenting. I wonder how it will be when the show starts proper. I guess I will have to gag myself and just stick more to Facebook like last year. There was a whole hater page meant for just sounding off on housemates grin grin grin It was fun abeg, to let off steam it was dissing galore. Diss Big Brother himself, diss the housemates, diss the countries, diss everybody. Just harmless fun. Ah, good days grin
Celebrities › Re: Ashanti Pictured Aboard Arik Air On Her Way To Nigeria by Aida13: 12:43pm On Sep 30, 2014
Ashanti and Ja Rule? Wow - why?? Because I don't see a crowd going crazy for any of her songs - except they just want to go down memory lane. The organizers would have been better off bringing in a rising Nigerian star. Not these washed-out celebs where one of them was dumped by another lame star and the other is a prison convict undecided undecided Like when they brought Brandy to Nigeria...LMAO
Politics › Re: Tony Tetuila's New Campaign Poster (Photo) by Aida13: 12:31pm On Sep 30, 2014
It is a pity. Even if he means well, with the kind of friends and family who will be begging for a handout or leg up, Tony "Tetuila" will just become one of the same old political criminals looting our National treasury.

safarigirl: hahaha...and this is what I mean when I say pictures are deceiving. In reality, JJ looks like a gnome grin. Can't wait for October 5th
OMG @ gnome LMAO my sentiments exactly. Seeing him again just put a big fat dampener on my anticipation. WHY are we seeing an old face from last year? People finish for Malawi??
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 12:23pm On Sep 30, 2014
ochon: Abeg make we hear word o jare. These contestants signed up for it when they decided to sign up for BBA Hotshots. Do you think they're reading our comments? So why are you trying to stifle people's assessment/opinions of the housemates?
Take a chill pill before you bust a nerve. This is friendly criticisms. It's funny you are claiming Voltron The Defender Of The Universe, yet Elikem, LK4, Beverly (our rep), O'Neal, Koketso, Bassey, Hakeem, etc., have been politely dissed, yet you chose to defend only Melvin alone. Why can't Melvin be criticised? Why can't we make fun of the pics of the HMs as long as the words are not caustic? I don't see laughing at the gums of the Rwandan rep, means him being ugly. His gums are funny in that pic but live, he might be handsome.
Learn to laugh over things, when they called Melvin, spade teeth last year, you nearly burn the place down. Melvin is a handsome dude, so even his teeth shouldn't elicit a show of anger from you. Take a chill pill please.
Dannyxy: some people will be insulting other people's look, when they don't have profile pics themselves. isokai isorai.
just remember this song
all things bright and beautiful,
all creature great and small
whether naija or Rwandaaaa
The lord God made them ALL....
grin grin grin
@ochon That's a very reasonable reply. I like reasonable people grin grin It's a reality show, these contestants signed up for everything that comes their way....good and bad comments, plus the $300,0000 if they win. So please, anyone who won't let me have my opinion, whether on their looks, sense or nonsense, can please take several benches to the left.

I'm not here to sugarcoat things ooo if I like a housemate, you will know. If I don't, I will say it abeg it's my prerogative!! That's why this is a F.O.R.U.M so any people with sensibilities or sensitive hearts for other people's headache, too bad. So unless the Rwandan is your adopted brother or twin, please don't come here defending anybody I diss abeg lol @Dannyxy
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 12:16pm On Sep 30, 2014
lertee: The Frankie guy isn't bad at all,he is the type one would call handsome, yeah he's got the look.
For some reason, he's just not my cup of tea undecided grin

He's better than that Mozambique guy though, with the orange dye in his hair. And he's definitely better than Ghana. I'm sorry to say, but all the really cool people stayed away from BBA this time. After the way guys like Hakeem, Lk4 and O'neal lost face, I don't think any seriously hot guys will show up this time.
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 10:45am On Sep 30, 2014
I wonder if they will ask each contestant to pick a housemate just from a pic of their smile during the live show, like last year grin grin Judging from the smiles I am seeing, some people won't get picked oooo. Like Arthur from Rwanda LMAO those gums mehnn...
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 10:41am On Sep 30, 2014
IyawoTM: Hungry ke....
The dude in the suit...overfine dey worry am
Just the way I like my guys wink
He shud not fall my hand character wise
Yes, the guy in the suit (Frankie) isn't bad, just a bit bald grin but the other guy, Arthur definitely has that hungry Rwandan look. I will apologize in arrears for the remark - since I know it's a war-torn country with famine and stuff. But I still have to say, just WHY cheesy why are they even here? This is supposed to be FUN. Must we represent all of Africa just to please some countries? We need happening nations jare. Which one consign me with Rwandan housemate?
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 10:29am On Sep 30, 2014
I've just seen the guys from Rwanda. Why must they always look so hungry? LMAO I'm trying to hold down my dissing gene but dayyum what's up this year? Like no eye candy for males/females. I mean Tayo is cool but not really hunk-worthy. And Lilian has a moustache. Really waiting on some faces that can make this bearable to watch. I don't care about fun personality, for the start we need hot looking people jare. Like the way Koketso, Feza, Betty, Hakeem and Cleo made you want to watch in the beginning. Then later you start noticing the others like Elikem, Bassey and even Lk4 for their entertainment value. Where the fine-a$$ housemates at? I don't mind even seeing Indian or mixed-race - just give me something.

grin grin

----the bearded one's name is Frankie, the gummy guy's name is Arthur. I just don't know what to say right now.

14: There are more francophone countries in west africa, so DStv subcription is low, dominated by France pay TV, Canal+ i suppose. How many countries speak English in WA except Nigeria, Ghana, Seara Leone and Liberia. In the SADC, its only 2 countries that do not speak English, Mozambque and Angola, but these countries are starting to adopt english as their main Language, jut like Rwanda. Then, there is a difference between SADC and WA. and the subscription is also put into consideration. Thats why some year other countries loose out due to the drop of subscription or another country has an increase in subscribers that overtakes the other country, then the country with more subscribers will get more preference. Thats how it works sir.
Oh ok, thanks for explaining it.
TV/Movies › Re: Meet Tayo, Nigeria's Second House Mate In Big Brother Hotshot. by Aida13: 12:25am On Sep 30, 2014
bettes: Did you say they were not empty vessels? I beg to differ,I was on Team Melvin and voted for him like crazy, but Melvin and Bev were empty vessels,Bev told the other HMs that our president was from delta state and Melvin agreed with her,Melvin asked Bassey if nigerians needed a visa to travel to Sierra-Leone an ecowas country, these are just to out of the several goofs they made, they were completely clueless.
In terms of intelligence, I promise you that many of the housemates were lacking grin grin If they were brainy, they would have real jobs not go on reality TV to expose all their dirty laundry. I know Bev and Melvin were really lacking in the brain cells department, but in terms of impact as housemates, I respect people who can get along easily with others. Melvin and Bev knew how to make friends, stay loyal and keep everyone going. Not all housemates could do that. Neyll, Biguesas, Koketso and Pokello didn't have good peoples' skills and were too good at making enemies. In that respect, Melvin and Bev had my admiration.

safarigirl: forget, that Mozambican guy will never blend in. He's old, unattractive and I can bet he can barely speak English. Imagine them giving 8 slots to Southern African countries while East and West Africa get 3 each, if Moz that speaks Portuguese can be in, why can't they give a slot to Senegal or Ivory Coast or even Cameroon? This BBA is fu'cked up abeg
Sometimes I just don't know what Big Brother is thinking when he does sh*t like that - the slots and the actual contestants who look like they shouldn't even be on TV. How is that entertainment? Oh wait, because ugly-a$$ people sometimes end up funny and quirky? NOT. As for the African demographic, if they put more West African contestants, they know it will mess the game up because the WA population that watch DSTV and BBA will turn up in terms of voting and the other countries won't stand a chance. That's my take but I still need an expert to explain how that slot stuff works. undecided grin

dominique: lmao you wicked o grin. Who knows, they could be the life of the show. Me I'm not writing anyone off till I get to know. When ola and Chris firsy came out in stargame, I was like wtf!!! What have we done to get such scary looking reps, I was envisioning Bayo ×2(shudders). But they proved me wrong.

I'm not for looks but they no too fine this season sha. I hope they make up for their lack of fine in the entertainment category. Nothing worse than having fugly bores for 63 days.
You're right, I should give them a chance. Didn't watch Stargame, but I get your point. I felt the same about Sulu. On the first night in the house, nobody really wanted to hang with him grin grin I felt so bad, it was painful to watch because he just didn't seem cool enough for the other kids LMAO. But he ended up winning Mr. Popularity, and even had his own hit BBA single. That shows we shouldn't judge a book by its cover lol

dominique: DAMN!!!! I knew your comeback wud be brutal but I didn't expect this massacre. abeg pity the guy
It's OK, water under the bridge grin I hope next time he will think twice before calling a girl he doesn't even know a b***, whether online or offline.

In more interesting news, seriously counting down to the D-day. I hope it will be worth it cos I'm seeing some really weird faces grin grin grin Ghana gets an honorable mention from me. That guy ehn...I can't stop thinking/talking about him. Another Sulu? And the one with leather jacket with spiky shoulder pads...I will look out for those two LMAO

meforyou1: Easy pls. I have been an ardent biggie addict since revolution. Just like u, coming into the show on Nairaland this season. I have also been active on biggie's Facebook page.
Enjoyed your write up about the chase. Just wanted to tell u that u missed out Sulu, next I saw you quarreling. Easy pls.
Sure, I'm over that minor distraction grin grin Just like stepping on an annoying beetle and then forgetting it under your shoe LOL

Thanks, I enjoyed The Chase seriously. I lost interest in BBA before then, but 2013 I had some free time and got hooked on The Chase. All that Ruby and Diamond House tins. Man, it was fun. Everyone had their own special flavor/character. I'm glad there are reasonable guys like you who are not afraid to enjoy some harmless fun. Kudos.

ladunsky: ok... lets let's wait for Sunday o.. buh why reveal them them now? The organizers should have waited till sunday.. u know that kain excitement and adrenaline rush.... That has kinda killed d excitement for the opening for me!!!!
People have been bugging them for some info, so they had no choice I guess. Trust me, seeing them in photos is nothing compared to when they burst out live. You won't even believe your eyes - like seeing them for the first time. After all, people knew Bev before Big Brother, since she's a 'video vixen' grin but it was still interesting to anticipate her arrival in Big Brother's house. So keep an open mind, like me. I like our two contestants, they are far better than some I've seen (I won't mention names now lol grin grin. Okay maybe one - we are better than that Ghana guy abeg grin grin grin. The one in kente homemade jacket LMAO)

ladunsky: as in I no know o... weda na the teeth abi eye brow.. God. .. I just hope they prove us wrong...!! My excitement as kinda *runned* down! !!
Lol, that's how my excitement 'runned' down when I first saw Melvin and Beverly on the first live show. But then I started rooting for other countries, so that helped me keep watching. It was LATER I started championing Bev and Melvin when I saw they were not just empty vessels. Sure, Melvin was Mr. Goody but at least, he maintained that to the last day. I respect that. And Bev maintained her craziness till the final hour, so I give them kudos for being genuine. Let's not write off this Tayo guy yet.

Thanks for being the voice of reason, I hope the he-goat will listen.

meforyou1: Hey easy. Big brother hasn't started. Just click ignore for the moment
I would have loved to ignore him, but then he will think he can get away with it. I'm sure he can't go on the street calling just any girl a b***. I'm sure he will not live long grin grin grin

But because this is a faceless online forum, he believes he can just disrespect any female. I have zero tolerance for such 'men' or boys or guys or whatever grade of human being he is.

Oooh sure I learned a lot, like how to comport myself in certain environments. How to relate with all kinds, good and bad. By watching i learned from the mistakes some made and also, picked up from d commendable housemates.

As for you, you are a guy that has a lot to learn. You just go on a forum and attack a person you don't know and call her a b-word because you take offence to her post. That makes you a LOSER, in life and your career grin

I apologise to all the HND holders out there, I actually did them a disservice comparing you to them grin

ochon: Eiyaa. You'd have added more fun to the overloaded fun of last year's thread. You missed out though. The last year's thread spanned over 2000+ pages and over 1million views (before the hackers attacked). The first to achieve such feat on NL within a 4 months gap. It's so fun, I wish I can take back the hands of time. I won't watch this year's own, but I'm glad skilled writers like you are on board to keep me updated. Good work. You remind me of another good writer - Spade/Psychedelia. cool
Awesome comment! I'll keep this in mind and put in every effort once it starts to make it feel like you're right in one of the BBA houses grin

Wow, yeah about the 2k pages and million views, I saw a glimpse before the site was hacked. It was massive! I felt so sad I missed out! People were giving updates every second/minute.
