How I mean HOW can Tuface be compared to Asa? Smh like chalk and fine Swiss cheese (Asa being the cheese grin). Anyway on topic, Imma need to go get this album! Loving the reviews. And because of the mad love/respect I have for Asa, I'll definitely buy d album to show my support and not just download it free off some mp3 site grin you know how it is lmao
Phones › Re: Why Buying An Andriod Tablet Or An Ipad Is Just A Waste Of Money! by Aida13: 7:37pm On Oct 02, 2014
This is the first time I'm reading this kind of thing. Obviously you don't have the right apps on you iPad and as such, you end up gathering dust with it.

The tablet, whether iPad or others can be very useful on the go, when you don't feel like rushing to your laptop or desktop to perform one task or the other. I for one have uses for my iPad that enhances my everyday living.

If I need to quickly append my signature to a doc/file and send it to the needed party via email, I just use an app on my iPad to sign and send, no more need to go scanning and faxing etc. I have apps for graphics and editing that prepare images for me, to use online on blogs or for fun stuff on photos. I can prepare whole documents of 10-50 pages on my iPad alone, so easy. In fact there are just too many utitlity apps that improve your day to day palaver. I'm not even into games, though I have so many. The only one I play is Candy Crush (mindless fun grin) and maybe Smash Hit. The rest are just there hardly getting face time.

A phone can never replace a tablet and vice versa. If the tab isn't useful to you, maybe you can sow it into someone's life, someone who canhave best use of it to its full potential smh

And9: BREAKING NEWS: Big Brother Africa welcomes most
controversial housemate ever! **BRADTHELADLONG**
You know we had to get on the band wagon as well. So
Rumors Surfacing today state that An American "KID" will be
entering the #BBAHotShotsHouse come the 5th of October as
a major Twist to the show.
An article by Media Whispers states - " producers have lined-
up an incredible star to join the other crazy hopefuls.
Controversial internet star, BradTheLadLong, who is famous
for his odd but amusing Youtube videos has been confirmed
as a housemate for the African version of Big Brother.
The unusual American youngster recently made headlines after
he was offered a big sum to enter 'Celebrity Big Brother' in
the UK but dropped out last minute as he said he was 'too
famous' for the gig but is desperate to make a name for
himself in Africa.
This is the first time Big Brother Africa have put in a well-
known person into the house but it's said they are hoping for
fireworks as Brad stirs the whole game up completely and
brings out the strategic side that Big Brother is meant to
have.
After Brad tweeted from his twitter account, "en route to
africa!", a top UK reality TV producer commented, "producers
behind Big Brother Africa have definitely got it right this year.
BradTheLadLong is a phenomenal signing and viewers should
be ready for the best Big Brother they've ever seen. He's
crazy...will tune in for the first time."
It is expected that this will be the highest rated ever Big
Brother due to the appearance of BradTheLadLong as people
will be intrigued to see what the Youtuber gets up to."
NB: All we can say is, i hope the producers bring this little Kid
to Africa, so that Our Housemates and us the FANS show him
that " THIS IS AFRICA " and No one is Above others here,
"Too Famous" hahaha this kid will wish he never signed up
for #BBA because i know for a fact OUR Housemates won't
take his bullsh*t (excuse our french)

https://mobile.twitter.com/BradTheLadLong
If it's one thing I hate it's fake housemates or 'planted' celebrities given an "agenda" even before entering the house. Big Brother should try and be more creative, seriously. I prefer when all housemates are on a level playing field. No undercover B.S. grin

Ooooh, such strong words grin grin bitterness and hatred...hardly. Sorry to disillusion you, but Nigerians have been making bad movies since 1669. Not going to change any time soon grin But I like your optimism.
Health › Re: Nigeria’s Actions Seem To Contain Ebola Outbreak -New York Times by Aida13: 10:22pm On Oct 01, 2014
The epidermic has been contained because all those rich looting government officials knew they and their families will not be safe if ebola is not handled. So everyone put in effort. If it was something that won't affect them, I'm sure they would have corrupted the process and many more would have been lost. I'm happy anyway for this good news telling us 'it could have been worse; but it's not'.

Ah, so many colors Nigeria! That's why I luv you grin
Politics › Re: Happy 54th Independence Day To All Nairalanders by Aida13: 5:51am On Oct 01, 2014
oluFELAxy: This independence is worth celebrating. Celebrating our heroes past is a very good thing. They fought for freedom and they got the freedom.
Then it was the Queen of England that controlled us, today we do it ourselves.
That our present day leaders are mismanaging our resources doesn't take us back or put us into the situation of being colonized.
We are free from external interference and that is the true meaning of independence.
I wish I could come round to your way of thinking, but I can't. Still, I appreciate the manner in which you approach things. Very commendable.
Politics › Re: Happy 54th Independence Day To All Nairalanders by Aida13: 1:32am On Oct 01, 2014
oluFELAxy: We are somehow free from colonization.
Be deceiving yourself lmao. When leaders keep all their stolen loot abroad, send their kids to foreign unis and even fly out to treat just a common cold because of the bad health-care system THEY helped destroy, you think we are free from colonization? Anyway this is not the forum for all that. Enjoy your celebration!

Dannyxy: and i am the over serious one, so you find my saying "you are isulting others pic, when you don't profile pic" insultive, well, i don't see it as insultive, because if some one had told me such, i wouldn't get angry.
(
::

you can call me preteen or ovaltine, voltron or johny bravo, whichever rocks your boat, i am just trying to save us another section of back and forth, i tease alot, so i will not like when i am teasing someone, you start reffering to a post where i was quoted out of context..
It's ok, it's ok ehh, take it easy. I didn't say you insulted anyone, I just said you were going a roundabout way to be rude. Now, can we get back to the topic??
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 11:18pm On Sep 30, 2014
Dannyxy: then why were you going on about the "holy holy" , you think I did not see it?, you were making inciting comments, after I told you it was that serious, you should be the one to take the chill pill, one day I will make comment, then you will come back to that post saying " were you not the one forming holy?", so life is a joke to you?, muhehehe, you are not serious. obviously you were not here last year, if not you would not be making those comments, what I hate the most is inciting comments, if you want to say something, say it..
Yeah whatever grin The emboldened words make you sound like a preteen girl grin grin Stop ranting OK, it's not a good look tongue

You're already afraid because I said I will call the holy-holy ones out if I see them dissing any housemate in future. My friend I ask you, why are you watching BBA? So your relevance is only to defend? That means if I don't diss, you won't comment abi? That shows the reason you are here.

Sure I dissed them on their looks, and you can defend them. Many others defended housemates by saying they look ok. Others have said worse than I did, but instead you went a roundabout way to say rubbish about 'those making bad comments about others photos when they don't have pics in their profile' Phuck that. That was a low blow and you showed yourself up. I'm on Facebook making comments with the rest of the BBA fans and we all see and know who is talking/commenting.

This Forum is mostly full of high-school/jambite age boys who still haven't learned to handle themselves. I for one only come here to broaden my mind. You obviously have never been anywhere else but Nairaland. Go out there and mix up on other online platforms, so you won't be so narrow-minded. Now let's drop this tirade, cos I for one won't let you ruin my anticipation of this fun show. Defender of the Universe Mr. Voltron (that's your new nickname grin grin grin)
TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Aida13: 10:58pm On Sep 30, 2014
Dannyxy: this is what I hate.. you try to be mature, people start making inciting comments, thinking you are a fool.

infact this year I have decided to be the defender of nations, yes I am holy holy, and if I saying you should not insults housemate looks, till they enter house makes me holy holy, then so be it, cut the crap! I owe no one here an explanation for whosever I decide to defend, yes i will be the fun spoiler.. are you satisfied?, I said you should take it easy with housemates, till they enter the house, out of no where someone gets emotional and quoted me out of context and I am made to look like the bad guy.. see them trying to make me look bad, see me see wahala because I said they should stop insulting the housemates look( like that's a bad thing), mtcheew..

I am the bad guy, I love it grin

if any woman wrapper quotes me out of contexts again, he will be put in his place , am not cut out for crap.
You really think anyone cares grin?

Wow take a chill pill. It's just TV. Stop taking life too seriously. Who's trying to make you look bad? You really send ooo. This is getting boring OK, relax.

Breakfast can be at midnight, if that is when you 'break your fast' from eating for the day. Ksslib: lol.

Dont worry you ll enjoy everyones company here. They all are good sport.

But heads up. Get ready for neck breaking epistles that will if care is not taken, make you weep-- literally. No thanks to people like ochon who use long texts to make up for their height.

Be expecting stuffs like '' I must admit, the birth of this hours universal consciousness has energised the companionable gregarious me and I must above all odds, opine, thar the camaraderie entrenched deep somewhere in my genetic make up has never been this primed to mate you guys companionship''

All he is trying to say is ---- He's in a good mood today. angry

And stay away from njokusboy too. You don wanna know why. But if you have the strength to argue issues like why flies shouldn't fly the way they do, then he is your guy.
Lol ok @ksslib, let's all just try to get along grin grin I just noticed that girls never really have problems with each other. I wish guys would just chill and stop looking for trouble. Anyway, it's been fun so far with you and @ochon, you guys rock. Peace!

Dannyxy: that post was without any malicious intent, that's why I was surprised when ochon quoted me out of the blue attacking me, I sang a song and used a grin emoticon, so I will pass my without message sounding so serious, read the post again, It was supposed to be funny, probably the way he quoted me and the way I replied made it look too serious. be honest, read that post again and tell me if I sounded so serious. I joke alot on NL(except when Melvin is being insulted cheesy) , so I can never be a holier than thou, even though I am holy grin
Oh ok. That's why I said continue. Either way, it's not my problem. Nobody here is paying my DSTV subscription, so why should I start stressing over what you write? Just keep using 'grin emoticon' as an excuse tongue I just never knew you were with UNICEF, OAU, WHO or is it RED CROSS to continue defending unknown entities, while other countries are enjoying themselves bashing Nigeria. This is reality of life. Well just keep doing your thing. Hopefully our lines don't cross, cos unlike some people I only start what I can finish (I sign off with a shrug emoticon :/ )

I don't understand the relevance of this post? Trials and tribulations have always been part of the world. Cancer, AIDS, and even leprosy from the bible days. Why call on men of God particularly? They play their part surely, but don't expect anyone with a magic wand to solve all your problems. Or else some people will find no need for faith or God. Just pray for a solution and be the change you want to see around you.
