Doesn't change what you are,if someone like you practise Christianity and you're like this then what's the point.
UniportAgbero:
I'm actually surprised you'd be saying all these things on someone's funeral. He died with his daughter, the least you can do is respect the spirit of the dead.
you need to ignore that lady. She is known to propagate rubbish and add in Jesus name at the end. Just read through her posts and you will discover that this one is just another faceless dud on a social media platform using an abundance of time and data to push ideas and beliefs that have no basis in facts. Just assumptions and insinuations that make a sensible person wonder why they have to live on the same planet with ranchis

Dangote and many others have been doing same for long. When did I refer to them as animals?
I will condemn what is bad and say the truth when I see one.
Hausa-fulani are far better than west on most issues.
West will highest resort to media in order to rubbish the company.
The antecedents are there for all to see.
Spare us the sobbing . I don dey notice una so you think you are intelligent? West is now the enemy....I laugh
See this one another insignificant dud blaming west for their carelessness and greediness. Because you won't get away with rubbish when you try a hausa Fulani man unlike the west the west is obviously far better than them at tolerating fake na why una think say leeway dey to misbehave. Try any of your shenanigans with hausa Fulani and see first hand what intolerance is.

Nigerians don dey turn Dubai to something else.
What a public show of nigerianess they should have waited and twitted all this as they usually do rather than causing noise pollution in a foreign country. If I'm leaving Nigeria in the coming future I'm going to a country with a very tiny Nigerian population.
Their bring him/her down mentality no dey rinse off once Dem don cross boarder as they have insulted him/her now I hope their lives are suddenly better for it.
Politics › Re: Robert Clarke: Death Sentence Won’t Stop Corruption, It’s In Blood Of Nigerians by Aidejay(m): 8:22am On Feb 24, 2020
I disagree
If you successfully execute the current crop of political elites on live TV in front of a 50 million viewers audience one by one from those that seem untouchable and immune from all form of retribution to those that worked behind the scene trust me those images will flash right before the eyes of anyone who might have the inclinations of taking what is not theirs. Just imagine the likes of obasanjo, good luck, Atiku, yerima, bagudu, Allison etc public figures of international reputation getting hanged you will see people confessing to crimes they committed to avoid such a deal or better still swallowing sniper so that government won't hunt and hang them. Just do this for an 8 year period eliminate the current crop of elites and usher in new blood with history and social media to remind the corrupt of their eventual downfall.

Nice to see good things are still happening in borno.
Else one would be led to believe that the worse has come and stayed, but please let's not overhype cause na wetin dey ruin somethings with too much overhype one will think magic has occurred. State the facts don't polish it. And for those thinking about 2023 let me ask this question why can't the ticket be south-south must the north be inside? I smell dependency. You can imagine my curiosity.

nameo:
Sir,

I have seen the debilitating and gruesome poverty in parts of the north 1st hand.

Nigeria is the World's Poverty capital cos of the north, esp the NW and NE.

The statistics for povertypoverty in most of the south is within middle income country range( 10-25%), whereas the Northwest has a ppverty rate of over 80%!!!!

Same goes for Illiteracy rate, severe hunger rate, infant mortality rate, drug abuse rate, etc etc. In fact, but for the north, Nigeria's himan indices would certainly not have put her amongst the worst performing in the world.

Anybody that tells you otherwise is deceiving you. BIG TIME
no one is deceiving that person he is deceiving himself.
Grew up in Lagos yet has a world view of the whole of Nigeria thanks to his internet access and nairaland moniker plus his comfortable cushion where he can seat and make insinuations about people and places. Yet if I do so it I'll be called a bigot, hater, zombie, slave among others.
By the way which part of Nigeria has something to write home about. We are all in the same boat but some people have made it their job to drag everything and everyone down with them. Some days ago a thread popped up of a community in the south west where the people don't have drinking water and drink from a muddy river some days earlier it was a thread of a popular south eastern city with people living in their own filth some time ago it was the north taking heat for almajiris and gross underdevelopment. Yet some people think they are on some pedestal that makes them Lord of opinions and thus they can type when in reality na all of us dey the same loongo. North, south, center, everybody is the same
But let's keep deceiving ourselves BIG TIME.

adamx23:
I keep reading the north is poor this and that.. Na wa oo..
The truth is that I was born and raised in Lagos.. And in the whole south west, Lagos is the only place that is okay, the other states are filthy and way poorer than most northern states..
Most northerners we call poor are wealthier than most poor people in the south.. At least by net worth, they own massive farmlands and cattles..Have you been to the rural parts of the south west? Even their cities like ado ekiti are nothing to wrote home about..
have you been to all the southwestern states? Then have you been to all the north eastern states. When I say been i don't mean passing by on a trip. Because your likes make such assumptions without living your Lagos. Have you been to the rural parts of all the states in Nigeria? Especially up north? Please don't lie to yourself your type plenty for nairaland.

how do you come to this dumb conclusion? Yoruba are the one writing in Igbo to ditch Hausa. Yoruba are the ohaneze youth spokesman that tell Hausa that the killing in their region is a blessing to them

I don't like threads such as these.
OP I don't know what you are going through as I haven't passed through such or know of someone who has that's why I won't advice you like I know half of anything. But from the bottom of my heart I beg you don't abandon that woman. I am an advocate for Africanism and African tradition but some traditions have been done away with and more are being abandoned cause they are illogical and unreasonable. It's unfortunate that some of the good ones are being washed away in the evolution of culture however this doesn't relegate the fact that some cultural practices are unnecessary and unreliable if we loose guts to challenge them then we pass down our cowardice to our children. Culture has changed and continues to change it's time for this one to change. @madem12
