Lagos – The British High Commission in Nigeria on Wednesday announced a new system of visa application whereby U.K. visa would be paid for online in U.S. dollars.
In a statement signed by its Press and Public Affairs Officer, Mr Rob Fitzpatrick, the commission said that the new system would begin on Dec. 16.
“From Dec. 16, 2013, all applications for U.K. visa must be completed using our online application system and paid for online in U.S. dollars.
“Payment can be made using a Verve debit card, Visa or MasterCard credit or debit cards or the e-wallet PAGA.
“The move to online application and payment will deliver a streamlined process.
“It is consistent with a wider global trend to online transactions and payments,’’ it said.
The commission added that the new system had met the requirements of the U.K. Government’s Digital by Default Initiative.
It expressed optimism that the system would cut costs in the management of visa operation as well as help to reduce visa fees.
The commission also said that the system would be safer for customers as it would reduce the risk of handling large sums. (NAN)

'Raise Your Glasses' is the Official 2013 Hennessy Artistry theme song by D’Banj. The video was shot in Victoria Island, Lagos by Matt Max in September. Boasts of cameo appearances by Hennessy Artistry supporting acts Phyno, Sean Tizzle, Seyi Shay, Vector, Pucado, among others. Clean video.

Just back from gym or from yaba market? Expecting to see your abs pic. Na wa for you o.

Enjoyable brawl. Where are the judges? It seems Mikuz is owing them appearance fees.

django1: What about her stature? She's a dry bone.

May God forgive you.

This is saddening. Dont go out without your phone peeps in Nigeria. They should check her phone call logs and sms outbox and inbox for clues if any. Also if her facebook acct has nt been signed out on phone, they should check her messages. May God help to see her alive.

django1: She totally ruined d song at a point.

I did nt notice, i was carried away by her stature.

Elnino4ladies: Wtf..i'm sick nd tired of wale dis wale dt..as if na Alist artist him be 4 america...mitcheww...is he even beta dan MI...

Even MI will slap you for saying that.

yorke1: Nonsense music nonsense video! It amazes me the kind of music people consider as "good music" these days. This music is VERY far from being good. Its all crap!

Please can you give me an example of 'Nigerian club banger' that falls into your own definition of GOOD MUSIC?
camera men/photo journalist should learn to respect people's privacy.
What privacy? If he wanted privacy, why did nt he stay at home . I remember when Okocha did such in Paris, he was fined. If you dont want to feel the heat dont stay in the kitchen. Is Tee billz a president or Governor?

Good job .

Best - Voice of the street - olamide

Worst - Jasi - Banky W

Good video, but the news to me here is that he has joined the exclusive list of Nigerian artistes with Vevo channel. Kudos.

Lunch Break with DON.T every weekdays from 12:30 - 2pm

I hope that dude has bought a new power bike. Enjoyed his programmes when in IB.

Wale was in Lagos last week and he performed at the Johnnie Walker event which was held on the 30th November, 2013. The pick of the lot was the performance of his hit single “Bad” with Seyi Shay.

So in your thoughts kelly hansome, 2shortz, ill bliss and phyno are all better than olamide? I watched wale's interview on trace urban and he mentioned that he had his cousins in the states who played nigerian songs and he said he liked wizkid, dbanj, olamide and naeto c. You think an american would be stvpid to swallow bitter pills anyhow? Come on.
