Agreed! But whose fault is it that we went into the season with an unripe striker? Is it the striker’s fault or the club’s fault? If it’s the club’s fault, shouldn’t you be pointing fingers at them instead of MJ?

I repeat, not even Gyokeres would have guaranteed us 3 points yesterday. If I’m not mistaken, Haaland missed more than 3 clear chances, including a free penalty. Useless Solanke couldn’t help his team either; they got beaten by Forrest.

Jackson has 9 PL goals and 3 assists, while Solanke, who is a more proven EPL striker, has only 6 PL goals and 3 assists. God forbid Spurs get their hands on a half-decent striker like MJ.
I blamed Maresca and Chelsea for not sending him on loan as I suggested, before the window closed. He was/is not ready to lead our attack to contend for Epl.

We saw Gyokeres for club and country scoring goals that Jackson wouldn't score. His numbers for club and country is enough to tell one that he is better than Jackson in front of goal and in the box.

Spurs won't prefer Jackson to Solanke. No sane coach will prefer a notorious wasteful striker to a natural finisher.

Any striker with 1 goal in 18 matches for his country , shouldn't be the main striker for a top club like Chelsea. The red flag is obvious.

You speak of MJ like he’s one of our marquee signings, but he is not. He is an unpolished, unfinished developing player. The club and the coach know this, along with most of the fan base and football heads.

You know I am fully in support of us getting a better striker, so there’s no agenda from my side. However, I listed a bunch of strikers we’ve spent substantial fees on, plus our academy players, and none of them beats Jackson in any metrics.

For the old monikers here, please correct me if I’m wrong. Some of us can remember how Anelka started with us until Carlo came through to strike a deadly partnership between him and Didier, and the rest was history. So, I believe MJ has a future here, even if not as the main striker.

While we are scrutinising his performance, I would like to remind you that the world’s deadliest striker, Haaland, missed chances yesterday, including a penalty. He failed to secure a much needed 3pts for his team at their lowest moment. He had not one, two or three chances including a free Penalty, but he still failed to deliver. Also, could you remind us again what Haaland's contributions have looked like in the past couple of games? My point is that even if we get MJ's replacement tomorrow, there’s no guarantee that he will get us our three points all the time. A case in point is Didier (our legend) f00lishly getting himself sent off against ManU during a UCL final, but had the opportunity to redeem himself a few years later against raumdeuter's Bayern. Even DD was proper rubbish in his first and second season with us until he peaked form. MJ can still come good too.

I rest my case.
The point is we made a mistake of using an unriped striker that should have been corrected before the season started.

I never rated Morata, and you know. Havertz is not a natural striker. Higuain was washed when we got him on loan. Let's leave those and talk about finishers available now that are confident to score in the box. Gyokeres will not be as goal-shy as Jackson in the box.

We should not continue to be a laughing stock regarding the striker leading our line. Spurs won't even bench Solanke for Jackson.

It's shameful that Sherwood described Chelsea's top striker in this way, after spending over 1.2bn on players.

"At times he looks like someone playing in Soccer Aid who’s not a footballer. Look at this chance [Jackson’s miss from six yards], that looks like someone who is a rapper or an actor or something trying to play football."

We can't continue with this crap.

You are waiting until today to bring evidence? What do you do with the shame that envelopes you every week?

Are you in anyway suggesting that I need to remind you that Muniz has 3 goals in 17 matches?
That's one of the best ways to show superiority - when they met.

Muniz scored a goal Jackson might have miscued for the keeper to catch with his left leg. Jackson was bundled out for spoiling good attacking moments.

A fit Muniz is a better striker to your bang average Jackson. Sherwood was right when he claimed sometimes he plays football like a rapper in a socceraid match.

In recent years, we’ve had the following strikers: Fernandud, Orimida aka Morata, Timo, Havertz, Higuan, Eto, Shevy, Tammy, Broja, and Lukaku.

Which one of these strikers would you rather have playing ahead of MJ right now? We also have Nkunku, who we all thought was going to be our main striker, but he's been underwhelming. I absolutely agree that we need a better finisher than MJ. However, he hasn't done badly for an unknown striker that we bought for peanuts. I would even argue that he has delivered, he is delivering, and he’s still pushing above his weight
MJ could even develop his game to be our modern-day Anelka—who knows lol
He hasn't delivered up to the expected Chelsea's standard, that's why he is not playing full time recently. That's why in our last 12 goals he only scored 1. Thats why Raumdeuter doesn't want him to replace oldman Kane at Bayern.

We spent over 1.2bn on players and the most important position upfront we filled it with an average striker, with1 goal in 18 matches for his national team. That should be corrected, as we need a striker that can carry the team when our wingers down tools.

Anelka trained from his younger age as a finisher, while Jackson was called Neymar in Senegal because of his flicks and not for his scoring skills. Only TB Joshua and he is dead, may do that miracle on a striker, who Ibime said his legs are not straight.

I disagree with MJ been a disaster and, like nateevs, have also observed that we lose a focal point whenever Jackson is out. And if we were in search for goal, removing Jackson will not be the best option for us.
We were in search of goal against Bournemouth and we got it after he was replaced by Nkunku and the French got us the goal that gave us the 3 points.

What's the essence of being a focal point when at the end of the day you are unreliable in the box? Nothing special in what Jackson does that any decent natural striker with pace, will not replicate. It's because we don't have better alternative, that's why some of us are treating aluminium like gold.

There was a moment in the first half that Palmer gave the ball to Jackson in the box for him to shoot at goal, he quickly knocked the ball back to a Palmer who wasn't expecting it. That should have been the 2nd goal that could have put Fulham under pressure to crack further. But my man, wasn't confident enough to shoot and chance reduced to a weak shot, easily gathered by the keeper.

There were instances Jackson either delayed a pass or played a wrong pass and our attack got ruined. He was a disaster that's why he was bundled out for someone who is not a striker. Fans asking for a teenager, Guiu to replace him should be embarrassing.

For the umpteenth time, no serious title contender in Epl will have Jackson as main striker and I will be shocked if Timbros and Ibime put him in their FPL teams.

Our previous match against Everton made me realise that Maresca is just a one way tactician. You needed a goal but yet you are substituting your striker for another inefficient striker Nkuku. Is it a sin to have both of them together upfront? And what happened to removing Neto while Plamer goes to the wink, and either the Nkuku or Felix to the ten role? And if Sancho continues to be cutting back, you remove him and put Madueke.
Guiu and Nkunku should have entered. Jackson was a disaster and should have been removed much earlier for Guiu.

In Chelsea's last 12 goals in the league, Jackson only scored 1.

We need a better striker, agreed. However, Jackson isn't the main problem here since he can still offer us something that Nkunku can’t and won’t.
We also need better wingers than Madueke, Neto, Sancho, and the likes. I saw a Sancho today who still refuses to shoot whenever he gets the chance, and a Neto who relies solely on his pace and isn't as decisive as Salah in getting into the right position to score.
Yes, we need to replace Jackson with a better striker, but we definitely need the other players in that frontline to pull their weight too.
Yes we can upgrade other wings but our striker's position have never been irritatingly mediocre. Our striker should be good enough to play 90 minutes regularly and not get bundled out for being useless in the box.

You keep on rambling. Why is Neto with goal sense having only one league goal in December. That's the question you need to answer. How can a winger be having one goal in December despite playing in an attacking team like Chelsea?
Why is Haaland having only 1 goal in December? Because he doesn't have goal sense, right?

You ask foolish questions.
