You deserve a medal abeg,Guiu could have scored at least a goal today to give us our 3 points
At least, removing Jackson in matches shows there's hope that he will get him replaced by summer. We must get a striker very reliable to play full 90 mins next season.

2 points lost due to profligacy of our top 9.
There's hope for top 4 though.

@Ibime, what can you say about Jackson's performance today?

When we said Jackson wouldn't score those goals Guiu scored against shamrock rovers ,some people thought we were joking.

Marc Guiu hustled for those goals even risking himself for injury. That's a FUCKING STRIKER
You don't need Babalawo to tell you that Guiu is a natural striker, unlike Jackson. Nkunku is never a top 9, i said this since last year before Maresca echoed it last week.

What made Liverpool to fire blanks against Nottingham forest is what made us to fail to score today. When your wingers are shutdown, space will be available to your striker to score. Once every team mirrors how to stop our wingers and Palmer, we will be at Jackson's mercy and that's a deep sh1t.

Jackson has proven again that airmark is right.

No more argument

Marc Guiu easily scores the free header he missed today
Football is not a rocket science, it's painful that we failed to do the needful and become the title favourite. Look at the goal Soloth scored yesterday, he pounced on the chance and grabbed the win. We need a reliable finisher in the box to edge others to the league title.

Few months ago:

airmark:
Let's ask his multiple agents here on this platform.

I was here yesterday stating that Jackson wouldn't score the goal Havertz scored. Anytime he sees a keeper standing in his front under minimal pressure, his brain freezes.

We have seen so many excuses they gave to defend his big misses. The only one I may accept is that his legs are not straight. Why not just sign a better finisher, whose legs are straight?

Teams will try as much as possible to shut down our support cast/wide men and the wasteful striker (who is supposed to be our best finisher) playing closer to the post, will continue to be missing sitters as we saw today.

2 cheap points dropped, rinse and repeat.

Either you don't know ball or agenda has blinded you. Even an amateur could see that our full backs offered zero offensive threat and made Everton too comfortable.

Also, we couldn't bomb forward because we lack confidence at the back. This is not how we play.
You typed rubbish.

Did we get 2 big chances inside 6 yards to score that Jackson missed or not? How many big chances inside 6 yards must Jackson get before scoring? You be ode.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m):
Our striker had 2 point blank chances in the first half, but it's the defence that had a clean sheet that must get the knocks.

They should just get the Ucl ticket by May so we can upgrade the team properly.

This is the problem. You say too many things in one answer. It never allows you get to the point.

You are quoting a post over and over again that begins by stating that you confuse me with someone else, and that I never got into the attack v defence debate..... You think that's not relevant but you think the latter part is.

For me, I never departed from the latter part of that statement. I owned it then, I own it now. I believed it then and I believe it now. Can we agree that I am not departing from that statement?

Good. So moving on, now, tell me, why do you think I said the second part of that statement?
That's why i asked you to accept the L that came with it as our team has improved without following Timbros' suggestion (balancing the attack and defence before we could see improvement).

Immediately, Maresca said he took his time during the summer break to check our games last season, i had hope. No sane person would see how we missed numerous begging chances and Sterling dribbling into traffic, wouldn't agree that our attack needed more focus as our major problem. 150m was quickly pumped into our attack, the result is what has rendered Timbros dumb as his request for a defender few days to the window closure, was jettisoned and we are 2nd on the table. cool

Sincerely, i am not interested in knowing your reason for backing the ignorant stance as it is useless to me. Anybody rating Timbros' stance in that attack vs defence argument, has no business on a round table where football technicalities are being discussed.

You talk too much. So you copied what I said about Timbros. But what was the exact reason I said so?
I copied it as you were trying to be economical with the truth as usual. Your statement was definite, why would anyone be interested in inconsequential reasons?.

nateevs:
Alhaji, you have confused me with someone else. I never joined your attack v defence debate, even though I did acknowledge that Timbros' stance trumps yours by a billion light years.
Accept that you goofed by supporting an ignorant stance, that got guillotined within 4 months of Maresca in Epl. No need of waiting billion light years. grin

What was the exact reason I mentioned Timbros' point as the more coherent point?
grin grin grin

Coherent kwa?

Everyone knows Timbros stance in the Attack vs Defence debate by doing our transfer 50/50 for both the defence and attack. All these your semantics won't alienate you from it.

We didn't balance any sh1t in attack and defence during the window and we have seen the improvement. You can't dudge the L by dissociation now, egbon.

nateevs:
Alhaji, you have confused me with someone else. I never joined your attack v defence debate, even though I did acknowledge that Timbros' stance trumps yours by a billion light years.
Airmark's stand that you claimed Timbros trumped. grin

airmark:
Priority should be on attack. That has always been my stand, while we expect injured defenders to return.

If we have 100m to spend, the bulk should be spent on our attack, not 50/50.

For this Alvarez one, name names abeg. Let's find this person together, so we don't confuse you for a liar.
The only liar here is you and it's on record that you backed Timbros ignorant view on the attack vs Defence debate. In fact you declared him the winner before the first kick of the season. He opined that without balance no improvement. Now you are avoiding a reunion with him like he is HIV patient. grin

As regards Alvarez, ask your foot soldier, Lordfalcao, he will tell you those that joined him to place Jackson over Alvarez.

I have always wondered why Arab asylum seekers prefer Europe to the other stable states in the middle east like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or UAE etc that they can easy get to by trekking. After all what they are seeking is a safe place with good economy.
I had to cut short my trip to Saudi Arabia by a week, years back. The only good thing apart from the monetary benefit of the visit, was buying local foods that i missed. Hellish, especially at Jeddah.

All those people always chiding our defenders each time we concede with snide remarks because of my view of spending more on attack plus getting a striker, should attack Allardice now.

Next year, I will just activate Airplane mode to those ignorant views and watch the basketball scorelines with 3 points, after we replace our striker.

Nkuku is not a natural top striker, we need another 9. Broja should go on loan, he is not ready yet to do 25+ league goals.
Since August last year.

Good that Maresca is echoing it now. He should get a prolific striker to finally turn the team to a strong contender.

Basketball scorelines that guarantee 3 points is better than many clean sheets with 2 points lost.
