Support cast don cast as expected. Time to upgrade the main cast this January. airmark: You don't need Babalawo to tell you that Guiu is a natural striker, unlike Jackson. Nkunku is never a top 9, i said this since last year before Maresca echoed it last week.
What made Liverpool to fire blanks against Nottingham forest is what made us to fail to score today. When your wingers are shut down, space will be available to your striker to score. Once every team mirrors how to stop our wingers and Palmer, we will be at Jackson's mercy and that's a deep sh1t. |

Gucciboy: Delap scored a penalty but you have a better striker wasting away on bench. Someone to bully these silly defenders and score unexpected goals
Mr hustler Yeah, Guiu would have been better than Nkunku. 8 points lost, 1 goal scored in 3 matches. We are in trouble. |

nihilistjnr: So this useless club can't net Ipswich?
I need a striker in January abeg. I also need another DM if Lavia is proving to be unable to stay fit for me. Also give me Tyler Dibling in Southampton to replace Mudryk. We only scored once in matches against Everton, Fulham and Ipswich. Disgusting. |

Delap was a joy to watch, I will manage him. |

lordfalcao: You don't even read well. Chelsea will get strikers on their conditions, so if you are probably expecting 100M strikers.
It won't happen. Clubs will only sign players within their capacity, nothing new. There are better strikers that don't cost 100m, we must get one and brighten our chances for top 4. Meanwhile, it won't speak well for Jackson if Delap scores today like Muniz did, and he flops again. |

You didn't see the picture had a gambling advert on it or are you blinded by agenda as usual?. His recent comment on Delap is also fake. The same agenda that oust your Sterling, will bring a new striker, to replace your average Jackson. |

diggz: What we have are bums pretending to be footballers, not proper wingers.
I’ve watched most of the matches this season, and I don’t see any of those bums creating anything, to start with. Of course, you have zero expectations of them scoring, so I won’t bother going there.
If we can only buy a player for one position this January, I would look to replace Sancho in that attack because he’s not worth the £250k he’s currently stealing from us. And you replace him with a Remo stars winger collecting 10k per month. None of Man City's wingers scored 7 goals last season and they won the Epl as they had a natural finisher, unlike us. Get a striker that can score goals, who won't be 'counting' legs before shooting at empty net. Palmer's numbers will complement it. Bournemouth and Nottingham's strkers scored today against teams that Jackson couldn't pull a trigger against, and was bundled out. That's why they picked good points where we failed. I believe Chelsea won't waste funds on another winger when our two strikers don't even measure up to 1. |

Sportsweb: SANCHO is working on his shooting skills - Airmark: Let's pardon it
Jackson working on his shooting skills - Airmark - Let's throw him away At least we saw Sancho's goal against Spurs. What did you see in a 'football age' cheat, said to be looking like a rapper inside box 18? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 8:33pm On Dec 29, 2024 |
diggz: You’re still making excuses for these bums. Do you realise how you sound when you say a £250k per week attacker is learning how to shoot? Bro, that’s an unacceptable excuse. I don’t even want to address Lil Baby and Ben Johnson. Seriously, why are you comfortable making excuses for non-performing forwards? I’m really surprised, sha.
If you can create all these excuses for our bums, why is Jackson’s case different? At least he’s improved from last season and shows he gets frustrated when he fails to score in a match. But your bums never seem concerned. Why should they be, anyway, when there are no expectations from you? Jackson is different because the most important basic skill of a striker is scoring and he is average in that. He is obviously not 22 years so don't expect his improvement to reach Chelsea's standard. You haven't answered the question I asked you in the post. We have numerous wingers that at least are providing assists that our half-baked Jackson is wasting. If we have one position to upgrade in January, where should it be? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 7:28pm On Dec 29, 2024 |
diggz: I find it absolutely shocking that you’re willing to excuse our £250k-per-week bum along with his cohorts. Salah has goals and assists. Saka has goals and assists. Diaz has goals and assists, but our guys should just provide assists; they all should be contributing both goals and assists. What have all the wingers shown us so far that would make us rely on them just for assists? It’s not like these current bums we parade as wingers can even hit double digits in assists anyway. I am not excusing anybody. Sancho scored a vital goal against Spurs and he said he is working on his shooting skills. Maresca is also working on Madueke's attitude to the game of which we may see improvement. Which position is of higher importance when we have numerous wingers in the team but only 1 below average striker and a juvenile as CFs?. |

diggz: Name the winger you think can lead the line. Salah just scored now. But we have Lil baby, Ben Johnson and Sterlings younger brother robbing us blind with midget figures. We need someone that can hit the ball well close to the goal, the coach can check Neto. It's a terrible situation that we should fix this January if we are not to fall off. If it's assists our wingers want to be making, then we should get a reliable striker to convert the chances. Palmer will get the numbers to complement the striker's. |

Against Everton, Nottingham's striker scored today. Against Fulham, Bournemouth's striker scored today. Against both Everton and Fulham, our own striker was missing big chances up and down and we lost 5 points. Now we are 4th on the table and going to face an Ipswich that will also try and shut down our support casts and attack like Fulham. |
