I will start this by saying, again, I am not on the attack v defence debate (read this caveat well Airmark, before your start fight again), but this is one of those where I have to interject.

What they are saying is not wrong. You cannot be up for it every game. It's not possible. Fatigue, loss of form, coaching errors, they all happen.

If your defence line makes a habit of conceding 2/3 every game, then you are going to lose more games/points as a consequence.

It does not mean they prefer defensive football. They just prefer that we don't concede goals, instead of the attitude "it doesn't matter, we'll just outscore"

It's a very simple concept.

Querying Sancho and Neto's contributions this season, compared to Sterling's last season only shows where you pitched your tent. I have been asking for a new LWF that can dribble in tight space since God knows when. Sterling should have been sent away even before Preseason but like some here, Chelsea are still looking for water from his stone.

Maresca, thank you for getting this LWF with the profile, not getting Jackson's upgrade was the only letdown though. We would have been struggling with Sterling and his Ikebe as usual.

Next summer we get a refined striker and other additions and win the league.
