Also I can't remember a world class CB that Leicester had, before they won the league that year. But we remember Vardy and his immense contributions inside the box.

@Nateevs, in case you missed my post below last August. My target was to win the league, why I requested for 2 better strikers and get Jackson loaned, but despite not getting a better striker I knew we would do better. I even trolled Timbros that time.

Meanwhile, I am not sure you vehemently and consistently asked for Sterling to be thrown out like I did. I only remember you hailed him at a point last season.

We had same number of big chances as Arsenal and they coverted 15 more than us last season.

There's a reason we have spent over 150m on our attack and we didn't spend more than 40m on defence. We conceded less against City at home this season as against 4 last season, and we scored 6 against Wolves as against 1 we scored last season at molineaux.

The only painful thing is that we didn't upgrade from that wasteful Jackson. Every other thing I asked for in the attack was done.

With Gyokeres, we would have been topping Liverpool by now as he would have added goals where Jackson fired blanks and we dropped points.

Tactics' change without change in personnels, is not why we are scoring more. No tactics would have made Sterling useful for us.

My recommendation was geared towards winning the league that's why I wanted a better finisher and we failed.

Concerning the attack vs defencw argument, even recently you posted that Timbros was right and I was wrong on that issue. The same Timbros that was against my request for a new LWF, was right but you are now changing positions in what looks like a new castle like Joelington.

Buy Silva's replacement and no need of wasting funds on new defenders as our injured defenders would return and improve our defence - Tosin bought and no other CB bought.

Buy dribblers that can dazzle in tight spaces - Sancho and Felix bought

Throw away Sterling and replace him- The Jamaican was chased away to North London and we got Neto and Sancho

We must not spend big on a new LB, Cucurella is ok - Cucurella is one of our top 3 performers right now

Spend the bulk of our transfer funds on the attack - Chelsea did just that.

The major reason why we are not topping Liverpool now is because my Gyokeres' suggestion box wasn't ticked and Maresca's statement below was ladened with regret. By summer we must correct that mistake, Hargreaves also echoed it after the Villa match.
