Android17: Airhead, so Guirassy is not a one season wonder because of last season but Foden is?
How dense are you? How thick are you?
I thought you were exorcised of all the MMM and Commandclem demons that ravaged your dull brain? A Foden with 4 goals in 41 matches for England, is looking like a fraud. If we now use Raumdeuter's 30+ G/A in a league season as cutoff, Foden is not yet a season wonder. Guirassy and Palmer did it carrying inferior teams that would have choked your Foden. The 4 goals that took Foden 41 games to achieve, we will see how many matches Palmer will play to score his own 4 goals. Maybe you will get another stupid excuse to defend Foden's penurious 4 goals by then. |

Android17: This is the Giurassy that airhead believes would win the EPL for CFC. Even with Guirassy scoring 28 goals in 28 matches last season and already on 3 goals in 4 matches this season, you decided to go years back to highlight his goals stats at Rennes. Lordfalcao may even be smarter than you. Time to start ignoring you. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 4:24pm On Oct 10, 2024 |
Android17: Gentlemen of this thread, here is airhead now telling us England would have won the Euros over Spain had Palmer played instead of Foden. Fine.
Airhead, why won't you hold him to the same standards for Chelsea? He already has a striker that can replicate what Hazard did in 2014. He on his own is an idolo. Yet airhead won't expect CFC to win anything but that same player is the reason England would have won?
Where is the proof? If you have brain, you should know Kane and Watkins in England are miles ahead of Jackson in front of goal. Comparing Kane and Watkins with a striker with no goal in 16 matches for Senegal? No sane person would have same expectations from both England and Chelsea. Only God knows when you will stop typing epistles with no intelligence. |

I'm so ashamed to have such a fellow fan. This is what too much talking does to you. Everything is argument. I too know.
Is Palmer better than Lampard and Hazard? You no fit answer.
See how you set up Palmer, Hazard and Lampard... Because of too much cho cho cho cho
Sit this one out Airmark. Which day would you ask a sensible question, Timbros? At present, Palmer is more resourceful than Foden and we saw it also in the Euros. How this fact metamorphosed into Palmer better than Lampard, Hazard, who have both retired, is foolishness of highest degree from your coven. Even Lordfalcao wouldn't ask this mumu question. |

I'm not holding brief for Foden, but if he won YPOTY twice and the main POTY also, then he must be doing something right. So scoring 9 league goals in a season in an attacking team like Man City, is now top. Na wa o. |

Maybe there's a reason pep is playing him much this season 9 league goals in 2021/2022 and 11 goals in 2022/2023 season, is not top anything for him playing in Man City. Only last season he popped to that level. He is a one-season wonder for now. |

See Timbros and Nateevs (Desperados). Not surprised you are teaming up with Eruditor, tagging Foden a GOAT, with 4 goals in 41 matches for England. Just as you both defended a striker with no goal in 16 matches for Senegal. Mediocrity smells from both ends. |

Because England goes how their best player will go. Because Southgate was foolish to be trusting your 007 ahead of Palmer. |

Android17: What season should I go to? Haaland missed numerous chances last season and City still won the league or are you now claiming that Chelsea will win the league if they had a striker other than Jackson?
I need you to make commitments to your claims so they can be used against you.
You keep telling me about Foden - when I claimed that England has to build around him to be at his and their respective bests. Hope you know you're making my argument for me? If they maximize Foden's abilities by playing him where he will be most dangerous, they'll win.
That's similar to what CFC have done for Palmer with the only difference being, you still don't expect your team to win anything. You'll do same if England was built around him by blaming everybody else.
I won't do same for Foden just like I wouldn't have done same last season when KdB was out. Because he is Messi. 4 goals in 41 matches. |

Android17: Try dey reason abeg. Your style of harping on one minuscule aspect of a post whilst straying from the main gist is worrisome.
I'm saying if Jackson contributed 14 goals Palmer contributed 22 goals
That's already more than what City could muster in 21/22 yet City still won the league. That's my way of saying, Jackson is not the reason CFC won't win anything and if Palmer is who you guys say he is, why won't you expect to win tangible trophies?
If I believe Pep is the best manager - I will expect him to win.
If I believe KDB is the best player in the league - I expect him to win.
Same goes for Foden, Rodri etc. I make sure my expectations match my profiling of the manager/players.
You guys in one breath tell us Palmer is the best in the EPL but shield him from the expectations of winning. To me, that proves, you don't truly believe he is the best. I'm just calling out the grand hypocrisy. You are going to 2021/2022 just to prove that a striker that had highest XG and missed most of the big chances, was decent. Foden in 41 matches for England, scored a penurious 4 goals. Outside of Fraudiola's system, he is like Jackson in Senegal - fruitless. |

Android17: Foden has won multiple titles without Kane or Haaland. Foden has 6 EPL titles.
Jackson is not the finished product but his numbers were as good as KdBs when City won the league. Palmer's were out of this world. What else is the excuse?
Don't forget Palmer and Foden have played for the same team - City. One stayed and won again. The other is apparently the best player in the world but he should be excused from winning titles. E no gel. When you are comparing a top 9's goals with a midfielder, there's a big problem. Will City swap Haaland with Jackson? You are Timbros of Manchester city. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 7:09pm On Oct 09, 2024 |
Android17: Haaland was not here in 21/22 when City won a league title strikerless. KdB scored 15 goals in the EPL that season.
Erling was out for 3 - 4 months last season. If Foden solely depended on him City would not have won the league. City did with Foden being voted the most significant to City's winning.
I need you to have the same expectations for Palmer. No excuses. By the way, Palmer is better than Hazard - that's also fair right? I was expecting Foden's name in the highlighted. 007's performance at the Euros without Haaland and Fraudiola's system, was unacceptable. |

Android17: So England will win titles because of Palmer? Good expectation for his gargantuan talent.
Are we to expect Chelsea to win titles and at least finish top 2 (let me pity him)?
Those were the expectations for Foden and he is delivering. We don't have Kane or Haaland as striker. Foden instead of Palmer in our team last season with wasteful Jackson, would have struggled in relegation waters. |

You can compare the games played for Erling and Foden vs Palmer and Jackson. See if you learn a thing or two on analyzing stats. Your 007 will soon be getting benched for Palmer in the national team. Southgate should bury his face in shame for not playing Palmer more at the Euros. |

It is well documented what you feel about the defenders and keepers Guirassy face and the defenders and keepers Jackson face.
Let's compare both strikers using your metric. How many EPL goals = 1 UCL goal? Maybe Raumdeuter should tell you that Guirassy has 3 UCL goals in 2 matches and your wasteful Jackson has 1 goal in 8 conference league matches. 0 goal in 16 matches for Senegal. Only God knows why you, Lordfalcao and Nateevs love wasteful strikers. |
