we have now become adept at possessing the ball and that is part of sarri's success.

Of course, Lampard's effect can be seen on the team now, the team still presses without the ball but is now very direct, the total change of personnel can also be seen.

The core difference between sarri and Lampard's gameplay is that the former was obsessed with possession while the later is more direct but that directness, while it has led us to create lots of chances, it opens the game up for both teams and that is why our defense has been shambolic thus far.

We are all hoping that overtime, our defenders adapt to this game play and become more compact in defense and not give our opponents lots of space to run into.
