Lol. This thread still dey. I'm cured of the ulcer now. I drink moderately and still take my pepper soup regularly. Point to know is don't leave ur stomach empty for a longer period. Anytime I feel a pang of hunger I quickly settle my stomach with something. This way, ulcer has been a thing of the past for me.

Some can be so stubborn like the duodenum and peptic ulcers, it keeps coming up when the system is in contact with an acidic food.

Still battling gastric ulcer at the moment. My meds are Ulcertret, Azigyl and Zaryl. Been at it for two months now and kind of feel relieved. But I want it cured once and never have it again, so, I would try the cure tips you listed above. My only problem is not taking peppersoup o. That's my weak point. Fresh fish and bokoto peppersoup with Amarula wine drink, Kai! It's been difficult for me to stop that combination of faaji. Have been managing it somehow. Thank for the tips..

Not even the pain of ulcer can stop the love for irishcream I'm with you on this. But if I take it moderately it doesn't disturb. I'm already my own doctor so I always have the immediate remedy if it strikes before it gets worse.

I'm in pain right now though not severe, had to look up google for tips to reduce it and stumbled on your post.
I started experiencing ulcer pain since 2005 (10yrs now) no permanent drugs works for me, guess mine is duodenum ulcer so practically I'm my own doctor.
I stopped using drugs to treat ulcer over 3yrs now all I do is preventing it by avoiding any food that triggers mine.

I read where you listed apple as one of the fruits for ulcer patients, I'm like wow people's body differs cos a bite of the green apple can send me to an early grave (God forbid), just lastnight I discover pineapple is no longer for me probably cos of the acid content in it.

This is how I control mine, I barely eat out, I cook my own meal. My only trusted and common fruits are bananna, avocado peer, cucumber and watermelon without the seeds.
But I'm very stubborn with pepperish and oily foods and can't do without my best drink, Baileys (God will help me sha )

There's nothing on this thread I haven't tried still it keeps coming back so have to resort to preventing it than trying to cure.

Have tried it, it's not harmful, just an oozing odor that will force you to cover your nose while drinking it. And even after drinking make sure you use eat bread to clean your mouth. The smell is out of this world.

What I can't tell is if it works for everyone cos ulcer treatment varies with body system.
