I haven't travelled much. But Entebe airport in Uganda, Kigali airport in Rwanda and Jomo Kenyatta airport in Kenya that I have used repeatedly did not charge me for trolley. My brother and my friend who have respectively visited more than 10 countries within and outside Africa said Lagos airport is the only one that has charged them money for trolley.

The trolley carts are stationed outside most airports in the Europe and US, and you have to pay to use them.

No! Some of the workers dey even beg travelers money. I have used many airports outside Nigeria where I enjoyed free WiFi and didn't pay for trolley. Lagos international airport that has no free WiFi charged me for trolley both during my departure and during my arrival. I don't know if the trolley charge has stopped. Some workers in the Lagos airport begged me for money in low tones. I ignored them but one woman succeeded. She threw a greeting from afar and asked me a question. I had walked closer to her when I responded and she quickly switched to begging. I had to give her money because I had already appeared friendly. After giving her money, I remembered that all that glitters is not gold.

Many have quoted me, saying Lagos airport has free WiFi. I used the Lagos international airport in October 2022. The WiFi discovered by my phone at the airport could not provide internet. The WiFi I use in other airports just connects and works fine. Maybe I checked from a wrong corner (distance) or I used Lagos airport when there was an issue with the WiFi. Note that I experienced the problem on arrival. I didn't care to check the WiFi during departure because I had data.

The Lagos airport has free Wi-Fi, but it's strange because one can’t use it to make WhatsApp calls.

As per the airport trolley carts, all the airports I have visited in the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia all charge at least $1 to use the carts, unless you are lucky to find an unused one in the open area.

You, your dad or both of you can sponsor her vacation trip, but transferring money to her account won’t be a good idea.

- Let your dad write a letter as per the vacation trip and the type of support he is willing to give her.

- She will need copy of your dad bank statement

- Any documents that can show a father and daughter relationship e.g birth certificate.

You will have been the best person to do it if you have enough money in your account.

This kind of thing happens frequently, and just because they applied as a family group doesn't guarantee that each member of the group would be approved or denied on the same day.

A traveler's plan can change at any time, and staying 3 weeks instead of 10 days is not going to raise any eyebrows because this is not considered overstaying a visa.

What really matters is to make sure that you have enough money and accommodation evidence to back your planned stay.
