Politics / Re: Buhari Should Tell Nigerians What He Forgot In Aso Rock - Patience Jonathan by ajalaolanr(m): 8:55pm On Mar 23, 2015
This woman is her husband's undoing, I will never marry an iliterate woman, when men say this I don't blame them , because this is the kind of result you get publicly.

GMB was never in aso rock. He ruled from DoDan Barracks!

If her husband was half as intelligent as someone who claims to hold a PHD, he would have relegated this woman to work from behind rather than allow her to brazenly expose his weaknesses on a downward spiral...

I hope the country can rid themselves of thsee people...

Obasanjo and Murtala built them, not Buhari.

Buhari directly supervised the construction of those refineries, he was the minister of petroleum.
Politics / Re: Buhari And Amaechi Enter A Police Van In London (Video) by ajalaolanr(m): 5:58am On Mar 22, 2015
They were taken away for security reasons, the UK Met police has no jurisdiction to arrest buhari if there is no court injunction to arrest him. Last time I checked there has been no warrant for arrest on buhari.

Nigerians are so saddled with lies and propaganda, all because a corrupt Govt wants to remain in power by all means possible.

I can't imagine having the likes of doyin okupe, Femi fani kayode remaining within the ambient of power for another 4 years let alone GEJ ruin the country the more.

His governance style smacks of insensitivity, lies, propaganda and corruption.

We are so trivial in Nigeria, we enjoy the absolute denial that we live in Amidst poverty and lack of infrastructure. The world is leaving us behind and we are laughing and joking about all and everything! this woman mentioned some of the scourge we face as a nation and we already turning it against her. Is there not a present trafficking of prostitutes from Nigeria to Europe, Edo girls mostly. The sooner we admit our problems and stop living in denial, the better!

Politics / The Good, The Bad And The Ugly by ajalaolanr(m): 9:25pm On Mar 16, 2015
The Good, The Bad And the Ugly!!!

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Italian title: Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo, lit. "The Good, the Ugly, the Bad"wink is a 1966 Italian epic Spaghetti Western film directed by Sergio Leone, starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach in the titled roles respectively.

This movie aptly summarises the current situation faced by the Nigerian. He has a choice of the Bad and the Ugly.

The movie themes out a corrupt Govt. Law officer and The good who heist bounty catchups with the ugly before their deal went south! All on the long search for the buried Gold.

If we all remember how the movie played out, the good eventually settled for the ugly when he figured out that the bad was out to kill, maim, covert and use the law with which he was trusted for personal gains.

The Good : The Nigerian People with the power of their votes.
The Bad: PDP
The Ugly: APC.

The power to change the fortunes of the Nigerian is in your hands...your vote, your PVC...your change.

Make it count!!!!

A country that has an unsold stock of about 30 million metric tones of crude oil, the only export commodity. A govt. that has told it's citizens to be ready for hardship this year due to a cut back in its revenue , now throws in a Trojan Horse in the form of a N10 reduction in the price of fuel. THIS HAS GOTTA BE THE MOST DESPERATE MOVE YET BY GEJ.

Nigerians are smarter now!

Business / Re: BUA Emulates Dangote By Reducing Cement Price To 1000NGN by ajalaolanr(m): 4:41pm On Nov 04, 2014
Only fools will not see this as a PDP gimmick to warm the hearts of nigerians towards next years polls, Nigerians are the most gullible set of humans in the whole world, I swear down! which businessman will willingly reduce the cost of his products or services? I'm an economist and a financial expert at that, only forces of demand and supply determine prices in a genuine capitalist society, alas that is the opposite in Nigeria's case.

Asides that Cement in Nigeria is the most expensive in the world, the N1000 is the true value of that cement as you have gotten now!

This is a Trojan gift and as usual Nigerians will accept. PDP has been given us Trojan horses since 1999 and they do this when its towards election time as we are witnessing today!

Yet some people will praise GEJ , I pray he wins then Nigeria will plunder into more hunger , chaos and deprivation as never witnessed before.

Thank God I do not live there anymore!

If this is truly TB Joshua , I refuse to be fooled or misled by the motive of this picture . A bag of rice weighs 50kg that's about a 100 pounds, Tb Joshua weighs at the most 90 KG and and that's about 175 pounds. At his age, say 60, is this man saying he's strong enough to carry almost twice his weight, this is just cheap politics to fetch for sympathy from the Nigerian people baring in mind his recent predicament.

This further deepens the truth that most Nigerian spiritual leaders are like wolves feeding of the folk and hide yet again in the sheep clothing. These church leaders are politicians, just like rochas okorocha on eating roasted corn/plantain on the street or when he got down to assist to push a broken down truck, the Oshiomole scam calling the press to publicize the 2M naira he gave to that widow and him wading flood waters to felicitate with flood victims! , GEJ telling lies that he had no shoes, these politicians know the level of exposure the masses have...absolutely none! And they will exploit that deficiency till Jesus comes..

Nigeria , a tale of a twisted country inhabited by hungry, deprived and confused people also led by mediocrity, strife and nepotism mastered by ruthless leaders.

Plus the GSM revolution and IT liberalisation. Can you still remember when only the rich could afford 090? When speaking to relatives overseas thru phone was a luxury and exclusive to well-to-dos? When NITEL was more brutal than NEPA? Breaking NITEL monopoly was a mean feat, courtesy PHEE DEE PHEE

It's really sad that you can not distinguish ones duty from taking ones discretion to perform , the first deserves no applause while the later deserves one. In this case of honoring the man that designed the Nigerian Flag, it is not the presidents duty but his discretion.

It is this delusion that has blinded the country to the point that we don't know that we elect leaders to go do a job at which they get paid to do. If you work in a bank and you perform your job functions, your remuneration at the end of the month is your "thank you" for doing the job. No one deserves no applause for performing a job you were elected to do, when I read comments like yours which is very common here on Nairaland, the depth of pity I have for Nigeria deepens, I have said it times without number, poverty is more a mental condition than physical, just listen to yourself saying we should clap for PDP for providing infrastructure like the gsm as you have mentioned above, we should clap for them for building roads, clap for them for security, clap for them for upholding the rule of law, Clap for them for fighting the virus Corruption, if in fact all these are done, we will indeed clap for them considering the sorry state we are in.......

You my friend need to do a soul search...
