were Al Masri fans. After hearing the sentence,
radical Al Masri fans attempted to storm the prison
where their fellow fans are being held, to free them.
Violence has spread to the court and local police
buildings.
The Defense Ministry told journalists that the army
would be deployed to "protect state institutions" in

There is one thing that I do not understand here, does mean the guy was killing them one by one while others were looking for their own turn? I suspect a foul play in this case. May be some people were hurrying to cover their evil deed(s). What is your own take on this?

Vanguard gathered from sources in Naka the
local government headquaters that the cultpit
popularly known as Torjor slaughtered his
victims at Naka earth dam, just few metres from
their home.
Our source disclosed that the culprit had over a
long period of time suffered from mental
derangement but was taken to the Makurdi
Federal Medical Centre where he was treat of
his insanity and discharged.
“But unknown to his people the young man
relapsed into insanity again until he ran amok by
the killing of his brothers”.
“We gathered that he had invited his victims to
the earth dam on the pretense that he wanted
them to assist him fetch water from the dam,
only for him to pull out a knife and slaughter
them in cold blood and fled”.
“When the news of his deeds got into town,
youths in the village mobilized themselves and
searched the entire village until they caught him
where he was hiding in a nearby bush”.
“Thereafter they had contemplated taking him to
the police but they finally resolved to met out
jungle justice on him by beating him to death”,
he stated.
When contacted the Secretary to the local
government Mr. Mike Torkuma who confirmed
the unfortunate incident said the culprit was
caught by the people and beaten to death.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Deputy
Superintendent of Police Daniel Ezeala who also
confirmed the incident, decried the villagers
resort to jungle justice but added that the
command was investigating the matter to
ascertain if the man was actually insane.
