lol. Either your are light skinned or the people are a bit thick grin

HR.hotness:
so when u getting the laser thing done?
hmmn no idea just yet. Will probably wait a year or 2 and make sure i want to go ahead with the procedure. The optician said optimal age for getting the surgery done is about my age so will wait a bit. The story about your colleague has also added to my fear. My eyesight might not be perfect but i still love having eyes!

@ 4Him

Thank you thank you, yes you should give honour to whom honour is due.

@ Ayosomethin

There are some spas in Victoria Island like Veni Vici, Montagne spa, Nail studio etc. You can go there and have facials, manicures and pedicures. As for looking good on your wedding day, I would say drink 2L of water everyday, buy a good chemical exfoliator like HR Hotness suggested or go for weekly facials at one of the day spas around. Will get back to you on the colonic irrigation. There is a place in Ikeja that does it.

@ all men on the thread

all you men claiming natural, you dont know that 'natural' requires work too. No one was born with feet or hands that don't need manicuring or hair that doesn't require attention. I hardly use make up and hardly wear weaves but its still an effort to keep those things God blessed me with looking good! Clear skin for me is an effort as I am blemish prone, although I dont wear weaves often I retouch and wash and set regularly. Unwanted body hair needs to be waxed and the list goes on and on and on. Natural doesnt mean no effort. You guys need to appreciate more kiss

Dust to Dust, Ashes for Ashes,
'Let your moderation be known to all men', don't go too far to look beautiful, if you do, you may end up looking like an expensive baboon,

As for me, minimum of a bath daily, and reasonable cream application to ward off dryness.
yepaa I cant laugh enough grin

@poster
Its your marriage not your parents' nor yourv in-laws'
Waiting a little while longer before bearing kids is for both of you to decide.
Have a good reason , in agreement with your spouse and stick to it come hell or high water.
People get married for different reasons, so why did u get married?, answer the question and stick to it in your heart.

I have a friend who is married but mentioned to me that he would have loved to wait a little longer before having kids, because he wants to enjoy the 100% attention from his wife, !
So pal bottomline what do you want?
Yeah would definitely want to enjoy time alone with my husband and settle into married life first. Also finances must be sorted out before babies start coming. Is just that why can't people mind their own business and face their own marriages? And why is it the norm for people to have kids straight after marriage?

well, for me i get my manicure&pedicure done once a month,i spend more money on makeup because i love trying out different looks.i mostly have on wigs and weaves because i don't have the patience to sit & have my hair braided,i think going to the spa is rly great too because it relaxes u
@ ajebota
where did u get colonic irrigation done here in lagos, would rly love to get one too.heard its rly nice once u get over the initial discomfort.
Good question. The place is in Ikeja but for the life of me I have forgotten the name! Will find out and get back to you. The owner is really nice and the price is reasonable I think (30K) for 4 sessions including colon cleanse powder you have to take.

FamilyHaving Kids Straight After The Wedding, Is It A Must? by Ajebota(op): 4:08pm On May 06, 2008
It often follows that once a man and woman are married, babies are expected to start dropping. 1 year passes without kids and family members start using style 2 ask when the baby is coming. 2 years and your mother-in-law demands to know if you are barren. 3 years and people are looking for pastor to deliver you. 4 years, aaaah I wont go there. But honestly what do you think about this tendency in the Nigerian society for family members to be in your business? I dont plan to have kids right away after marriage, maybe wait 2-3 yrs, tell me will I survive?
