I was in your shoes about a year ago or so. Your heart will tell you what is right. I made the mistake of going for convenience rather than true feelings and love. Fortunately i realized my mistake quickly and the guy I had been with (long distance) was man enough and loved me enough to give me freedom to choose and accept me back. I have not looked back since then and I thank God for being merciful towards me and steering me down the right path. In my case I have to learn the hard way. But the experience only reinforced the meaning of real love to me, so I say follow your heart. You will know if you are making a mistake or not. Just be brave enough to admit any errors, good luck!
RomanceRe: Your Lover Slaps You During an Argument by Ajebota(f): 1:03am On Apr 12, 2008
extremely disgusted with all the women who said they would forgive their husband of slapping them after he apologises and all will be well, That is why there are so many abusive relationships in Nigeria! Rubbish, By the time the guy renders you a quadraplegic maybe your eye will open. Nonsense,

A man who slaps a woman is not even half a man.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend And I Are Both AS by Ajebota(f): 7:05pm On Apr 09, 2008
@ I feel u o. My mother is SC and altho SC is not as bad as SS, everytime she has a crisis it freaks me out. That stuff is PAINFUL. As a young child I grew up fast because I had to take care of my younger one when our mum was in crisis. I suggest you start to seriously consider the possibility of adopting kids. Dont let typical Nigerian thinking and egostic ideals about continuing your bloodline toy with your head. There are more than enough children in this world that would appreciate your love. Chew on that,

TravelRe: United States Of America Vs United Kingdom by Ajebota(f): 11:05pm On Apr 02, 2008
lol, backpackers are the worst, they think they know so much more than they really do.

@ The jackal, lol all they know is FUBU and bling bling true true

And Americans can be so friggin stupid. I remember being on an educational tour in Greece when this American fool came to start asking my mum, brotha and I about Africa, which in his own mind is a town, foolish fool!

grin grin grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy lmao

ok, if it comes to dress code, i'll favor UK. but it's how each person decides to carry themselves out o. .
Thank u o Danity and Morenike09! There is no denying the fact that the English understand fashion and that American's are fashion challenged. I would rather spend 1 grand in the U.K on quality clothes than 1 grand in the U.S on soccer mum outfits cheesy

Something that makes me laugh is when Americans visit the U.K with their usual loud and obnoxious attitudes and the British give them blank cold stares as if WTH? hehehehe

Dont get me wrong I still love the U.S. God Bless America!!
TravelRe: United States Of America Vs United Kingdom by Ajebota(f): 10:37pm On Apr 02, 2008
correction I wouldn't live in either for long.
TravelRe: United States Of America Vs United Kingdom by Ajebota(f): 10:35pm On Apr 02, 2008
What I love about the U.K is number 1 the FASHION, number 2 the CULTURE (museums, architecture, quaintness, theatre, etc). But it is for rich people or very poor people only. Its for the 'haute monde' or the bone lazy people on benefit in the housing estates. The average working Londoner is miserable and pays too much in tax.

The U.S on the other hand is fantastic for 1) FOOD 2) CHEAP SHOPPING 3)LADIES SHOES in bigger sizes 4) FUN LOVING PEOPLE 5)BIGGER EVRYTHING (houses, cars, ,roads etc). America is a country for the hard-working and ambitious individual. It is not a poor man's country. Aint no such thing as benefit like in the U.K. Here the sky is the limit.

I would live in either country for a long time. Would love to have houses in both but for me Naij is the place to be cheesy

Christianity EtcRe: Noisy Places Of Worship by Ajebota(f): 12:55am On Apr 02, 2008
I feel your pain. An elderly relative of mine(72 yr old widow o) had lived in her house for 34 yrs before a church moved into the plot in front of her's. After talking to the pastor of the church all he could do was reign abuses her way and ask holy ghost fire to consume her. Of course soon after his foolishness his eldest son died. Go figure. However, till this very day they still make loud unbearable noise 24/7. Foolish people! What they are doing is not Christian at all.

In your case, you would be lucky if they listened to your complaints. Only the grace of God will make them stop. i wish you good luck but dont expect any favours from them!
RomanceRe: How Hairy Would You Like Your Partner To Be And What Draws The Line For You? by Ajebota(op): 3:10am On Mar 30, 2008
lol @ Sam Milla I dont see what is ethical or unethical or nonsensical about hair o! pls explain,

To answer your question i am a fan of Brazilian waxing. It makes being hygienic much easier especially on a hot summer's day! As far as i am concerned I only want hair on my head eyebrows and landing strip. On a partner, I appreciate guys that dont carry bushy armpits about, they tend to give off funky odours sad As far as Nether regions are concerned, neat and trimmed is the way to go. So Sam Milla are you now willing to give your opinion?
TravelRe: Is Life Really Better Abroad? by Ajebota(f): 2:45am On Mar 30, 2008
I love my country oooooo But apart from national pride i believe that I have the responsibility to give back to my motherland. I am able mentally, physically and otherwise so what is stopping me. Extremely easy for me to stay in the U.K (or anywhere in the world that I so choose) all my life but I would be wasting some serious potential. Only laziness and greed will keep me in the U.K after uni and 2 years or less of work experience. As God has blessed me I must bless others. Period. Naija for life.

Its not the same for everyone. Every man to his cup of tea but I know my future is among my own flesh and blood. And at least if a fellow Nigerian wants to fight me I can give the person back equal measure. No 'black ting' nonsense like abroad.
TravelRe: Who Disagrees With The Separate Luggage Weigh In For Nigerians At Heathrow? by Ajebota(op): 2:12am On Mar 30, 2008
Err joshjosh have you ever seen anyone who was not going to Nigeria weighing their luggage in that room? Its only when i'm going to Lagos that i'm asked to go there. When the airport staff ask where I am going and its not Lagos they give me doggy looks like I MUST be going to Lagos because im Nigerian, scr*w dat mehn,

@ the woman wanting you to carry her load. If im in Heathrow and i'm flying to Lagos I always do 'strongface.' Trust by the time anyone looks at my face they dare not ask such a stupid question, lol
TravelRe: What Did You First Experience In The US? by Ajebota(f): 1:56am On Mar 30, 2008
lol at the person who collected beer bottles in a restaurant,

Till today my mother collects plastic bags when she is in the U.S (and this woman is a seasoned traveller o!). Then she uses it for dustbin at home in Lagos,
TravelRe: What Did You First Experience In The US? by Ajebota(f): 1:54am On Mar 30, 2008
LOL @ almondjoy's soda experience. I have had a few like those in the U.S. Even till this very day when I go to the Mickey dees in yankee and they ask me 'Orange soda?' I still look at them as if ''what the hell, mehn nah Fanta I asked for o!"
