I am in urgent need of your advice on a decision I am about to make that could shape my life and my young family in about few months from now.

I am currently running successful businesses which give me a steady minimum of N1.5M per month with a potential for expansion. I have been nursing the idea of going to UK on a study Visa by September this year with the hope that I can get a well paying job that could surpass my current earnings here in naijja. I was a struggling fresh graduate when I was introduced to pineapple farming

I planted about 15,000 pineapple suckers around June 2020, followed due process of it's farming.

Last year, I induced it all, and about 12,000 of the pineapple stands started fruiting, at first I was scared of how to sell 12,000 fruits, but when I started getting intouch with fruit sellers in my area, I was able to get many customers even more than what I needed.

I harvested over 10,000 fruits at ones and sold in dozens, I have about 600 dozens bigger sizes of pineapple fruits which I sold for ₦6000 per dozen.
I realized approximately ₦3,600,000 on just 600 dozens of bigger sizes fruits
I still have some smaller sizes left which I sold for ₦3000 per dozen

Planting just 15,000 suckers, and harvested about 12,000 fruits after spending about 700k on the farm.

Now I believe what some pineapple farmer always say, pineapple farming is a cool money investment...

Pineapple farming is a lucrative agrobusiness, invest in it if you have the opportunity.

EDIT: My experience

Field was data analytics, worked with a team and everything was fully remote. You can call it a stressful time (9pm to sometimes 3am) but I prefer working at night anyways.

Asides the salary, they also set aside stipends for data and working overtime so it was a good experience

This is not really true sir. I went to Apapa two weeks back without knowing anyone but Apapa is my only choice of area because of my passion for international business. As a Muslim I went to close by mosque at wharf area as a place where I thought that they would welcome me in the spirit of brotherhood coupled with the fact there were other people occupying the place but the Imam told me he couldn't allow anyone without guarantor to stay, I was disappointed.


I'm still ready to go there if I have anyone to help out though.
