PoliticsIs Radio Biafra Still Operating? by Ajibo111(op): 7:58am On Jul 15, 2015

Earlier today, the Nigerian Broadcasting
Commission (NBC), claimed it had successfully
jammed signals from separatist radio station, Radio
Biafra.
But the owners of the station and some Nigerians
who follow the activities of the station have denied
the the report
The station tweeted the information and described
the operators of the commission as liars. See the
tweets below:

Is Nigeria really this technically
deficient that it can’t jam radio station
signals? If so, why is Radio Biafra still
transmitting?

— Gimba Kakanda (@gimbakakanda)

Radio Biafra operates from an unknown location
with the frequency 88.0 and it is quite popular
among some listeners.
The station which shows solidarity for the Biafra
struggle is mainly listened to by people in Rivers,
Imo, Anambra and Enugu state.
Meanwhile, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo
recently stated that the radio station, “does not
have the backing of the South East, any leader of
the South East, or any Igbo man.

color=#770077]DEAR
NAIRALANDERS,i will be happy if you people advise me this.

READ IN DETAIL..

i grew up with this girl in my village but later she went to live with with her parents in lagos state.
i missed her so much as we are intimate good friends.
TEN years later she returned to my village again,we are so happy to be united once more.
our love started growing, she visits me everyday,we spend times together.
AS WERE are dating, something come up,even though she is my girlfriend,i never slept with her, because i don't want anything that will tear our deep relationship apart.

situations began to change, sometimes i catch her with other guys ,standing on the road, chatting,i maintained that am not jealous.WHENEVER i ask her she insist that they are just MERE FRIENDS,
some of my friends advise me to breakup up with her, that she is cheating on me but i refused because i love her and can not afford to lose her.

ONE day,i ask her for sex and she refused, saying that, she is a virgin, that she has never knew a man .
but i doubts her in my mind, SHE FLIRTS WITH OTHER GUYS,MAKES UNNECESSARY OUTING WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE,DRESS in modestly
and still claimed that she is a virgin.

i don't know whether, because am not spending on her that makes her to reject my request or that it is truly that she is i a virgin.

SO DEAR NAIRALANDERS,ADVISE ME ON WHAT STEP ,I WILL TAKE AGAIN CONCERNING MY RELATIONSHIP WITH HER.

THANK YOU ALL.

SportsRe: Opinion: Messi Vs Cristiano Ronaldo!! by Ajibo111(m): 10:45am On Jul 12, 2015
Pep Guardiola : 1) “Put in the superlatives yourselves, I’m running out. It’s already been a while now that he has been outstanding. He’s more than decisive in every way. That he’s capable of doing everything that he does at his age is something impressive, that doesn't make any sense." 2) “The best players are always in the thick of the action. (Michael) Jordan did it with the Bulls, (Kobe) Bryant does it with the Lakers and Leo does it here. We want him to stay with us because he’s the best and we wouldn’t swap him for anyone.” 3) “Messi is an irreplaceable player, today if he was here we would have won 5-0 but he was not and we had to play another in his place.” Fabio Capello : 4) "Cristiano knows English, Messi knows football." Diego Maradona : 5) “I have seen the player who will inherit my place in Argentine football and his name is Messi. Messi is a genius and he can become an even better player.” 6) “His potential is limitless and I think he’s got everything it takes to become Argentina’s greatest player.” 7) “Messi I think is like me, he is the best in the world along with Ronaldinho.” Frank Rijkaard : cool “He’s a unique player and he deserves it, because he can do things of almost imperceptible excellence and is a gem to watch.” 9) " Leo’s goals are works of art.” Johann Cruyff : 10) “He deserves ten out of ten for doing what he does. He is a sensation, but still he can improve. He must know when to move the ball on quickly and when to try the impossible mission. When he learns this, he won’t win a single Golden Ball, but an entire collection.” Carlos Tevez : 11) “His speed is astonishing. It’s amazing how he can go 1 to 100 in just one second. I’m constantly around great players like Cristiano and Rooney, But this guy is just a step up above every other great footballer out there at the moment, Not only is he quick, determined, and extremely intelligent on the ball, but his movement off the ball is just as fantastic – unbelievable to sum it up in a word.” Juan Sebastian Veron : 12) “I see Maradona every time he grabs the ball and accelerates. We must protect him. I’d personally put him in a drawer of my bedside table.” Gilberto : 13) “Messi’s plaudits are hard to accept, we play in other countries and we do not see the local fans supporting our players there. Over 40 thousand Brazilians applauded, and that’s hard for who is on the field. When I see them applauding Messi I get annoyed.” Julio Grondona : 14) “Without Messi there isn't a team for Argentina, Messi is brilliant, different, with a strong mentality. Let’s hope he doesn't change.” Jose Mourinho : 15) “The best way to stop Messi is when you play with 11 men and then you can double mark him, one player to stay on him and the other to help out. If it is 11 against 10 then you have almost no chance of stopping him.” Karl-Heinz Rummenigge : 16) “Nobody was so wonderful at 19 years, neither Pele nor Maradona.” Fernando Gago : 20) “For me, the best in the world is Messi because of the way he plays, moves with the ball and changes matches, Messi has incredible ability and I love the way that he plays.” 21) “Messi is the best player in the world by some way, I always thank God that he is an Argentine, not just as a player, but as a person too. I have known him since I was 18, he is incredible, a very good person and we are very good friends. Right now, he is at another club, and we have a little bit of a rivalry, but the friendship is larger and stronger.” Theirry Henry : 22) “I have the possibility to watch Messi in training each morning, and because of what he demonstrates he is the best player in the world, he stated during a press conference. It is a pleasure to watch him, and because of the way he plays he is an undisputed leader of the Barcelona team.” 23) “What Leo does is so incredible that I have to be careful not to stand still watching him make his moves.” Antonio Cassano : 24) “Ronaldinho is better than Cristiano Ronaldo, but neither are as good as Leo Messi.” Sergio Aguero : 25) “Nowadays, Messi is better than Ronaldinho. He is the best footballer in the world right now. And I’m not the only who says so. Everyone who has seen him play says so too.” Pele : 26) “I knew when we gave Kaka the FIFA World Player of the Year award that he (messi) would become the best player in the world. With young people like him we need patience and that is the problem we have in Brazil.” Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva( Brazilian president) 27) “When I see Messi – who is the best player in the world in my opinion – lose the ball, he runs off until he gets it back or commits a foul. Our guys lose the ball and fold their arms.” Carles Puyol : 28) “He is a spectacular player, there is nobody else like him. I should not because I have suffered so much in training. I think he is the best forward at the moment and I think he will be so for many more years. He has his feet on the ground.” Cesc Fabregas : 29) “He has a great future if he can stay clear of injuries. For me, he is the best there is.” Ronaldinho : 30) “Every time he plays, Leo Messi reminds me more of Maradona, both left-footed and short, Messi is the best player in the world, along with Kaká and Cristiano Ronaldo. For us it is not a surprise. Since he began to come and train with us and we knew we would go down this path. Someday I will explain that I was at the birth of one of the footballing greats: Leo Messi.” Daniel Alves : 31) “Lionel Messi? When I played against him at Sevilla it was always very difficult, so now I’m pleased that we’re on the same side. He’s just fantastic.” Mikel Arteta : 32)“It is as if someone commands him from the stands, like a video game. I have never seen a human run with the ball at that speed. I have not seen Maradona so I cannot compare, but Messi is simply unbeatable.” Raul : 33) “The other day I saw one of his games. He was running with the ball at a hundred percent full speed, I don’t know how many touches he took, maybe five or six, but the ball was glued to his foot. It’s practically impossible!” 34) “It is clear that Messi is on a level above all others. Those who do not see that are blind.” - Xavi 35) “I believe that I played well against Barcelona, the problem was that Lionel Messi was simply unstoppable.” - Johnny Heitinga 36) Arsene Wenger - “He’s like a PlayStation”

PoliticsOpinion-top Five Most Dangerous States To Stay In Nigeria Now.... by Ajibo111(op): 7:21pm On Jul 06, 2015
Peace is a very costly commodity, well at least in
Nigeria in recent times. High rates of terrorism in
the West African country have given rise to tension
and made some parts of the country totally unsafe
and very risky to stay in.
Here we bring you a list of 5 most dangerous states
in Nigeria according to violence stats and terrorism
rise in these areas.

5. Adamawa State: following numerous attacks by
Boko Haram in the North Eastern state, Adamawa
State poses a high tendency of unsafety to
inhabitants and individuals wishing to travel to the
state for various purposes. The most recent of
attacks was a blast at one of the market in the
state capital, Yola on the 5th of June leaving at least
30 people dead and also adding to a toll of up to
5,000 people who had been said to have lost their
lives prior to previous terrorist attacks.

4. Yobe state: the next state on our list obviously
has to be Yobe state, this state has fallen victim to
numerous Boko Haram attacks with thousands of
people dead and properties lost to these attacks.
Sources also reveal that somehow religious
differences is on code a determinant in these
attacks as Christians claim that most of these
attacks are aimed at them.

3. Bauchi State: this state is also a target for
terrorist group Boko Haram who has successfully
carried out many operations and numerous attacks
on the North Eastern rich state. The police was well
on deck to avert an intended election violence and
attacks which where suspected to be by the
members of Boko Haram. The governor then further
announced a curfew to make sure the situation was
kept in check. Amidst all, Boko Haram has killed
thousands in the state and carried out successful
attacks. Owing to the fact that there is very low
security in Bauchi State, it’s the Number 3 most
dangerous state in the country.

2. Kano State: in 2012, Boko Haram members
angrily carried out an attack on the state which
killed about 162 people. The group said it did so to
revenge the persecution of its members. Countless
of attacks has followed suit and has killed plenty to
count in the state. The death toll in Kano State
might be said to be next after the next state on our
list.

1. Borno State: Boko Haram attacks never seems
to stop happening in this area. Obviously not until
they are stopped and captured, the Boko Haram
terrorist group has its base in the North Eastern
state and has carried out numerous bombings,
killings, attacks and abductions of which a very
famous one is that of the Chibok girls. The state
which has a population of about 2 million people has
lost hundreds of thousands and properties worth
millions of Naira to these attacks and counting.
Bombings happen almost everyday and people
loose their lives likewise. Recently the new Nigerian
government pledged to move it’s defense
headquarters to the State’s capital, Maidugiri until
the terrorist group are captured.
Whether this is a good move or not, the people of
the state can’t wait to have peace restored in their
state.

CrimeIkorodu Bank Robbers Confess: How We Carried Out The Operation by Ajibo111(op): 5:49pm On Jul 06, 2015
The gang of armed robbers that attacked two banks in Ikorodu two weeks ago have revealed that there was no woman in their group.

This is contrary to reports which had earlier stated that the robbery incident was led by a lady with a tortoise on the neck and a big snake around her waist.

The robbers, who were paraded at the Lagos state police command, Ikeja, Monday afternoon, told journalists, including Naij.com correspondent, that they had been contacted by a certain Warri-based kingpin popularly addressed ‘million’ for the operation.

While narrating the incident, Agbojule Bright, 25, disclosed that ‘million’ called him for the operation and his role in the operation was to stand on the road and prevent policemen from disrupting their activities.

The graduate of English studies and CRS from the College of Education, Benin said: “I was caught after My friend, Akpan (also a member of the syndicate) called me and led me to the policemen.

“We used dynamite to open the vaults and all the guns we used for the operation were supplied by million. I could not get a job after leaving school so, I resorted to felling of trees in Ebute Metta area of Lagos state before I was being invited for the operation.

“I am from Ese Odo local government area of Ondo state and this was my first time of going with them on the operation. I am married with two kids.”

He also confessed to have bought a jeep with the N2million that was his share from the robbery.
Speaking also to journalists was Monday Ikuesan, 37, who confessed to be a fisherman involved in bunkering within the area.

Ikuesan, a father of two, also stated that he got N180, 000 for his efforts in the robbery and has since ‘invested’ the money in getting kegs which he used for oil theft.

“I was accosted by some people and was forcefully asked to take them over the water or release my speedboat that was how I got involved.

“I am not a member of the gang. I was only involved in the Lekki robbery prior to the Ikorodu incident,” he explained soberly.

Another member of the gang, Monday Omoboye, while explaining his role in the robbery noted that Kakadu, another member of the gang, now at large, asked him to drive them out of the robbery scene, and that is what he always does for them.

He confessed further, saying: “Immediately after this last operation, I drove them into their creek in Ajegunle area of Ikorodu and was given about N2million as my share of the loot.

“There were about 18 of us in the operation and there was no woman among us. Right now, I feel very sad about this incident, but there is nothing I can do.”

Outgoing Commissioner of Police (CP) Kayode Aderanti, while presenting the criminals to the public, commended officers of the state police command and assured everybody in the state of the police’s continued efforts in ensuring the safety of their lives and properties.

“The vehicles which they bought with their loots are also here for your accessibility as we are assuring you that this command will always ensure the security of lives and properties.

“It is very important that I place my appreciation on marble to the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.

“I also want to use this opportunity to thank my officers and men for their support and dedication to duty all this period,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Lagos state government has stated that the robbers succeeded in their operations because of the transition to the new government.

PhonesHow To Identify Fake Phones.......(must Read) by Ajibo111(op): 4:05pm On Jul 05, 2015
Differentiating a fake phone from an original one is
sometimes an enormous task because they are
virtually the
same. Fortunately or unfortunately, Jovago.com ,
Africa’s
No 1 Hotel Booking Portal noticed that many of
these
phones are from China. We can argue that Techno
has
somehow proofed many wrong about the
authenticity of
China phones. However, when you go to the
market, it is
advisable to buy from an authorized dealer or you
look for
these salient features to distinguish an original
phone from a
fake one.

VERIFY PRICES
If you have a friend that uses the same brand of
phone that
you are interested in buying, you can call him to
confirm
the price. Then, compare the prices of both brands.
Why?
Because many of these counterfeit phones are very
cheap
and less expensive. Therefore, the low price may
be a
subtle ploy to entice customers. Don’t fall victim to
this.
However, you have to be cautious still because the
phone
maybe expensive and at the same time fake.

LOGO AND BRANDING
This is perhaps one of the easiest ways of
identifying a fake
phone. This is done by simply observing if the brand
name is
correctly spelt or not. Samsung, Nokia and
Blackberry
manufacturers will always get the spellings of their
brands
right. However, when you see noKLA, samSVNG, or
any other wrong spelling, don’t hesitate, it is
definitely a
fake!

MISSING/LIMITED FEATURES
You may want to buy the same phone again
because you
love the brand and the phone. However, while
surfing, you
discovered that some key features are omitted in
the phone.
Don’t think twice the phone is fake. Nearly
everybody can
identify a Nokia phone, hence any missing features
can
easily be identified (or there are some additional
features),
then the phone is a no…no…

APPEARANCE/WEIGHT
Fake phones have two unique features, they are
unprofessionally or poorly packaged and they are
very light
weight. For example, you are given a new phone
and you
observe that the screen protector is a bit loose.
How will
you describe that? It simply means it wasn’t
properly
sealed. Just walk away, the phone is fake.

INTERNATIONAL MOBILE STATION
EQUIPMENT IDENTITY (IMEI)
Does your phone have an International Mobile
Station
Equipment Identity (IMEI)? This question is
answered by
dialling *#06#. Also ensure that the number is 15.
However, there are other situations whereby the
IMEI
may be available and it is 15 in number but the
number is
still fake. Just be careful. If you are in doubt, just
walk
away!
