Story for the gods. Why didnt you the patriotic igbos prevail on NK and his cohorts to cease the incitement and hate speech they started since 2015? Now you have an opinion. Mr Man, there is nothing like sitting on the fence here. You are an ipob else you would spoken out against their acts a long time ago. Where were you when Igbos were calling other nigerians "cockroaches"? A name that caused the death of thousands in rwanda. O boy, go find somewhere sidon abeg.

The way these ipob touts react to contrary opinion. They are so violent, rude, illogical and arrogant even to fellow igbos whose opinion differ from theirs.

My heart is bleeding now watching this video. I felt for the old women running and leaving their market behind. Seeing a sachet water hawker and i think she is even pregnant with the way she is running. I wish the pigs and idiots listen to us then. We tried all we could do to make them reason with us but instead we are tagged unity begger, almajiri, parasites, bmc, afonja to mention few. The real culprits now especially on nairaland, twitter, facebook and other social media are somewhere in Europe, Asia, America sleeping under serene condition with more than enough food to eat and now see what they have caused upon our people.

We must always take caution to avoid the presence of soldiers, because their presence will surely crippled every business activities of anywhere they're deployed to. The people of North East can testify to this.

My question now is where is Nnamdi Kanu and his BSS?
Will they listen? They are all over nairaland.....very arrogant and remorseless group of people.

thanks for this. Life is easier than we think. Taking everything too serious or always being on the offensive will not help us achieve anything. I hope this guides us always. Best wishes!

Strong opinion bro.
I think religious leaders should speak up. If Adeboye, Oyedepo, Pst Chris, Kumiyi, Evang Lazarus can speak on these issues the whole country will hear their voices both Christians and muslims. Igbo like Hausas are most religiously inclined and they listen to the voices of their religious leaders more than their political leaders.

An Igbo man loves working. I strongly suggest that massive production industries be built in aba and agberos taken off the streets then u will see how ipob will die a natural death.
because unlike wat people think aba alone can lead the country into disaster how Aba/hausa hausa/Igbo,niger delta, Niger delta/hausa yoruba yoruba/igbo niger delta and the whole country would be turned upside do
very salient points raised and great recommendations too. I agree with you. But, why are our religious leaders silent?

I agree with you. Last week Saturday I was at the national stadium sure-lere lagos for 2017 (igbo women) august meeting as the company where I work took products to display & showcase. We do that every year at the outdoor basket ball court.

The MC who happens to be an igbo man greeted in yoruba, hausa, efik, etc. Reason being that the women came from various states. The guest of honour was Ambode's wife who didn't come but her aid represented her. These women & represented men (special guests) had fun as usual and they do not look like people who are disgruntled or want a divided country. Their Mc greeted the igbo women northern delegate in hausa and yoruba language too in the open.
you see. Thanks for this post. God bless you

1. Nnamdi Kanu should be invited (not arrested) to the DSS HQ to sign an oath to quit incitement, hate speech and violence.

2. Since he is seen as a god by his followers, NK must call them to order and restrain them from resorting to violence, hate speeches and incitement.

3. The FG should in turn drop all charges against NK and grant him amnesty.

4. There should be a reorientation and deradicalization process for all IPOB youth either by the FG or State governments.

5. The Nigerian Army or perhaps the FG should tender an apology to the people of the S/E for the lives lost and include the S/E in national projects and programmes (including political appointments) in order to douse the feeling of marginalisation.

6. Nigeria cannot runaway from the issue of restructuring forever. We will have to face it soon. This will spark a new national discourse and chart a plan to the benefit of all Nigerians.

7. If the people of S/E however insist on a breakaway, a long term effective strategy and roadmap to achieve this must be developed. Actualisation of a secession could take decades to achieve. Quick and immediate secessions (if any) would mostly be violent and costly with grave consequences.

8. The S/E must carefully select their leaders to ensure that only those with a strong desire and hope for the actualisation of biafra are elected to represent them at all levels. This way, they will have a better representation at the federal (executive/legislature) and international level where they can further present their case and lobby for local and international support. Indeed, the igbos are known for political miscalculations at the national level due to sentiments and hatred. This should be worked upon. Imagine how good things will work out for the S/E if an Igbo VP can emerge and subsequently an igbo president. Also, those who are still bitter about GEJ's loss at the 2015 presidential elections should remember that the South has ruled for 13+ years since democracy began 18 years ago in 1999. Out of this, Jonathan ruled for 5+ years and had his fair chance (including the support of Yorubas in 2011). Let's not let sentiments becloud our sense of reasoning.

However, if IPOB choose violence, hate speeches and incitement, they will always meet their match in the Nigerian Army. In which case, the python will always dance.

God bless Nigeria!

Politics / Re: Afonjas Concocting All Manners Of Lie And Monstrosity To Indict IPOB Of Violence by Ajisebioyolaari: 4:20am On Sep 15, 2017
The OP is right. It is afonjas who were wielding knives, clubs and cutlasses, looking for hausas to kill in commercial buses. It is afonjas who burned down police stations, markerts and trucks in Aba. It is afonjas who attacked hausas in oyibo rivers state. It is afonjas who has threatened to burn down the zoo and the cockroaches in it. All these happened in afonja land too. Chai, these afonjas ehn.

Stûpid lots seeking to blame anyone but themselves.

Lightening:

The 16th century French revolution was started by the angry poor; impoverished by their system. So what's your point?
My point is we are now living in the 21st century where struggles, secessions and protests must be carried out within the ambit of the law. Humans have evolved and therefore, we should quit acting like medieval beings or animals. Keep living in the 16th century.

Symptoms of joblessness. Politicians, Kanu, religious leaders, anybody with tiny influence just manipulating the youth for their own selfish gains.
Kanu, what exactly are you gaining from all these people dying for ur sake?
you have spoken right. Unemployment and idleness have made our youths easy targets as tools for thuggery, political violence, civil disobedience, religious and ethnic conflicts, hate speeches and other social vices.

My igbo friends who work with lucrative government agencies and private coys hate to hear about Biafra. It's those unemployed ones that litter my facebook page with all manner of pro biafra posts. Truely, unemployment and idleness is a serious problem and even worse is poverty and illiteracy or semi-literacy.

Exactly. I believe that lunatic was a beneficiary of the corruption in GEJ's govt or maybe he benefited from Diezani's largesse.

At the end, for threatening to burn down Nigeria and refering to the country as zoo and Nigerians as cockroaches/animals, those IPOB touts needs to feel the impact of the zoo. Ordinary python dance and they are screaming. If we release anaconda or black mamba nko? We haven't even unleashed rotweiller, talk more of lion. Mtschw
