Gradually, more details about the military coup became public and at the same time the real motives of the coup planners began to appear. Youv criticized the medical professional for checking up or consulting with a colleague when unsure, even though this is for the sake of patients safety, which I find very daft of you. I would like to take my time to educate you, since you are ignorant, that no doctor knows it all. This is why there are hirarcy of doctors from junior to senior who should be working as a team.

Back to your question where you a doctor is in a rural setting. It's very unlikely not to have network to call a senior colleague and seek for advice regarding a patient. In an unfortunate situation where there are no sort of communication at all, then it's best to safely refer the patient than doing harm by giving the wrong treatment.

Bottom line, it's not wrong for a doctor to seek help. A safe doctor is the best doctor. Its a shame the level of illiteracy and ignorance been exhibited by you lots. But please now you know, educate those after you. You could contribute to making Nigeria a better place.
