bittyend: I love ndigbos, yes I really do, but it's just a shame ndigbos would rather chest-beat to the Yoruba than fight for what rightfully belongs to them... Ndigbos why? Will ndigbos ever look at the man in the mirror?

You claim you're superior to everyone, yet never exhibited that superiority, why?

You claim biafra will be paradise, yet the eastern states governed by ndigbos are hell on earth, why?

Nwanne, ifunaya gi my igbotic omalicha nma and the food they cook for me. That's why I care about your plights...

bittyend: This what you get by chest-beating all the time.. Truth be told, Northerners don't rate Igbos, period...

You guys wonder why Buhari never campaigned in the east during the last election?? He knows you guys are negligible, irrelevant, and willing tools that can be phucked in the arse; batty up and face down..

Ndigbos have been in political disarray since ZIK left this planet (and Zik got his game from Herbert Macaulay). You guys need to go back to the drawing board and learn the basics of politics again.. Till you accept to be junior partners to the SW in Nigerian politics, and form a formidable southern alliance, you will continue to be lackeys for the Northerners.. #JustSaying.
am still wondering why MI5 havent arrested you since and lock u away? may be they are still investigating u in UK cool

PROUD-IGBO:
^^^I'm in tune with the sentiments expressed above. Having seen the Port Harcourt one stalled for whatever reason (inspite of their vastly superior revenue profile), i'm taking this Abia one with a truckload of salt. And as manny4life pointed out, it would have been better if the South East (SE) Governors had an intergrated/joined-up approach towards this rail transportation thing: pooling their resources together to sign one contract with a reputable firm (on a PPP basis) would have been better. But then again, i guess i'm expecting too much from a Governor that thought it was acceptable to send packing his kith and kin from other states that were employed in his civil service; such an intergrated-development approach would sound like rubbish to him since he can't bask alone in the 'glory' of bringing rail transport to his people; and this could also be the same thinking of other Governors in the SE who are too individualistic minded and can't think beyond their states for the greater good of Ndigbo as a nation.

I used to be excited by all this monorail shi.t, but no more, especially when i see this globim guys signing MOU's all over the place with nothing concrete on ground to show seriousness.

AK47 nwanna, your efforts at trying to launder Ochendos' image are quite laudable, and you get 100% for said effort. But i'm afraid you're flogging a dead horse.
heheheh nwa afo, am not in support of ochendo at all, to me,he should leave for better brains to governed abia state he dey fuccckk up coolwell he is a Nigerian product if it was for alaigbo alone he will not last one week on that seat.........................

NNPC, Chevron, others donate chest clinic to Anambra
On May 13, 2012 · In News

BY VINCENT UJUMADU

AWKA – THE Agbami Group, comprising five multinational oil companies, has handed over to Anambra State government an ultra-modern chest clinic built at the premises of the new Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, Awka.

Members of the group are Star Deepwater Petroleum Limited (a Chevron Company), Famfa Oil Limited, Statoil Nigeria Limited, Petroleo Brasileiro Nigeria Limited and Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

Construction of the clinic, which has state-of-the art equipment, was started seven months ago.

A representative of the group, Mr. Shola Adebalu, said credit should be given to Governor Peter Obi for the goodwill he enjoyed in Nigeria to attract the project to Anambra State .

According to him, the decision to build the health facility is part of the group’s social responsibility aimed at adding value to the lives of the people of the state.

He explained that in addition to the clinic, the group was also involved in awareness programmes on HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases in many communities in the six geo- political zone of the country. cool

Dede1: I have likened Nigeria and anticipated Republic of Igbo land to the comparison between scenes of broken or divided house and united house. Nigeria has a concurrent subliminal conflict among the members of the house which brewed a culture that shuns patriotism and encourages ethnocentrism and corruption. Individuals elected into political offices by Nigerians have no common link with the masses. They are elected into cabal which has every intention to stockpile money so that their offspring will perpetuate their unfinished business, confuse the masses and reduce them to paupers so that a mere sudden handout could turn them into a political zombie, maintain a stagnated economic status quo so that people are on each other’s throat and willing to annihilate each other on slightest of the provocation and make sure Nigeria resembles an impenetrable jungle that will be unattractive to its citizens abroad.

In Republic of Igbo land, unlike Nigeria, will be a united house with a common destiny for all. The republic shall be a place where patriotism shall flow like a river and the need to maintain urgent sense of competitiveness shall remain the motto. It shall remain a place where people will thrive to get it right from the start. Let me further buttress my point with what happened in Owerri few years ago about Otokoto’s saga. If Owerri was Nigeria, such action will never happen due to ethnic sensitivity. Owerri was taken over by hoodlums and rascals to the point that a once lovely city such as Owerri suddenly became death spot. But one fine morning, Ndigbo decided they have had enough from the rascals and set out for house cleaning without glancing over their shoulders about being accused of ethnic cleansing. Anybody who looked back before the revolution against Otokoto and what Owerri later became would understand that “Umunna wu ike”.
You are man person no doubt cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

PoliticsRe: Asari Dokubo: Igbo And Yoruba Failed Against The North,Ijaw The Only To Succeed! by ak47mann(m): 6:08pm On Jun 01, 2012
Dede1: We should not go petty on the issue of derivation because only eastern region seemed to be politically awake when others remained in a deep political slumber on the issue. There were very limited amenities the LGA or County Council provided to the masses and I do believe there was a formula used to disburse revenue collected within the regions.

Also, there were communities not endowed with big markets as to raise sufficient money from market stalls and licenses. It was the responsibility of regional government to make sure development reached all nooks and crannies of region since it was the essence of three tier system of government. Igwe Ocha (Port Harcourt) produced neither palm kernel nor coal nor limestone when the eastern regional government deemed it necessary to make the city one of the tripod major cities in the region.

I usually distaste idea of introduction of crude oil in any political exercise because it has literally destroyed Nigeria. Ordinary marital inquiry leads to questions such “does your community have crude oil wells or do you work with a crude oil company”.
