Politics › Several Wounded As Emir Escapes Suicide Attack by AK481(op): 4:59pm On Aug 03, 2012
KANO (AFP) – A Muslim religious leader in
Potiskum and Emir of Fika escaped a suicide
attack on Friday, when the bomber was
thwarted by local people before blowing
himself up, residents said.
Several people were wounded in the blast in
the town of Potiskum, one witness said, as a
police official said he was awaiting further
details of the attack.
“A man who looked in his 40s … approached
the emir and tried to embrace him, but
people around pushed him away, and at that
moment, a bomb concealed under his caftan
went off,” one witness said.
Those wounded included the emir’s
bodyguard, a mosque aid worker and a nurse,
the witness said. The attack was said to have
occurred as worshippers left the mosque
following Friday prayers.
There was no immediate claim for the attack,
though Potiskum has been hard hit by
violence blamed on radical Islamist group
Boko Haram.

Entertainment › Your Destiny Is In Your Hands. by AK481(op): 9:39am On Jul 18, 2012
A boy went to a native doctor and requested to know how bright his destiny will be. The native doctor drew a circle with a white chalk and another circle with a black chalk. After that, he placed a dead millipede on the floor and asked the boy to watch carefully. He said he would say some incantation to make the dead millipede start crawling. He told the boy that if the millipede crawls into the white circle, it means that his destiny will be bright but if it crawls inside the black circle, it means his destiny will be dark. Finally he started his incantation and the dead millipede started crawling. When it got in between the two circles, it turned and started crawling towards the black circle. The boy watched and immediately it was about entering the black circle, the boy picked it and gently dropped it inside the white circle. The native doctor who got furious asked the boy why he did that the boy said he won't fold his arms and watch his destiny crawl into darkness because HIS DESTINY IS IN HIS HANDS.

Lesson.: You can be all you want to be it's all about your choice don't let circumstance decide for you.
