The United Kingdom-based think tank Forum for the Future has proposed some interesting views of city life in the future. Their 2011 animated video depicting a "Planned-opolis" flew under the world’s technology and science radars at the end of last year.

First a little background on Forum for the Future.

On their website we can see that the nonprofit organization has some powerful allies in “business, government, education and the voluntary sector.”

Some well-known names are PepsiCo UK, Thompson Reuters, and Vodafone. The full list is much larger, and it’s clear that a lot of powerful global corporations and UK government agencies are backing this think tank. Nevertheless, they still make the claim on their website that they’re an "independent, non-profit organization."

They say that their goal is to basically help the UK’s public and private sector deal with the problems of climate change, overpopulation, and consumption of resources by our use of energy, water, raw materials in publications, office supplies and furniture.

They want a future that's environmentally sustainable and socially just, that’s the basic summary of their mission after sorting through a lot of information on their website.

Near the end of 2010, they presented people with videos of four scenarios they have envisioned for the future based on current global trends in food, energy, transportation health and technology. The most interesting of the bunch was a video about a city called Planned-opolis.

That’s because daily activity in Planned-opolis is carefully regulated. We know this because we get a carefully regulated tour around the city by one of its fictional inhabitants named "Vee."

Vee and her family have to use tightly controlled calorie cards on their smartphones to make sure they don’t eat more than their rationed amount of food. Their lives in the cities are highly managed by government and personal transportation is only available to the elite.

Vee even mentions that she’s so glad that she can just shut her brain off while she rides public transportation because a mega computer controls the entire city. We see that their chance to advance their careers is limited by what the government chooses for them and that their food supply is controlled by a global food council (Monsanto?) that provides them only with what they need, not what they want.

And since meat is bad for humans and mother earth, they only get it on their birthdays.

This dystopian future is but one scenario Forum for the Future dreams up for the UK on their website. The other three are not as Orwellian as a Planned-opolis, but they all basically show scenarios where people are forced to lower their standard of living and give up their individuality for what they are told is the greater good by social engineers.

And then there is this official quote about their four scenario videos that makes it difficult to understand what kind of society it is that they want to build.

“Forum for the Future’s scenarios are not predictions or depictions of desirable futures which we wish to promote, and they do not represent our vision of a sustainable future. They are pictures of different possible futures, designed to help people understand the major trends that are shaping our world. They aim to challenge, inspire and excite, so that people feel motivated to plan for a better, more sustainable future.”

I’m not sure what kind of technologically advanced, socially just UK Forum for the Future is in support of. All I can tell is that based on the information on their website they want one of the scenarios they’ve imagined, or a combination of the four.

The fact that they have corporate money in their coffers makes me think that they have another agenda besides using technology to make the UK a greener and more socially just place to live.

Suspected side effects to the quadrivalent human papilloma vaccine

Abstract

Introduction: The quadrivalent vaccine that protects against human papilloma virus types 6, 11, 16 and 18 (Q-HPV vaccine, Gardasil) was included into the Danish childhood vaccination programme in 2009. During the past years, a collection of symptoms primarily consistent with sympathetic nervous system dysfunction have been described as suspected side effects to the Q-HPV vaccine.

Methods: We present a description of suspected side effects to the Q-HPV vaccine in 53 patients referred to our Syncope Unit for tilt table test and evaluation of autonomic nervous system function.

Results: All patients had symptoms consistent with pronounced autonomic dysfunction including different degrees of orthostatic intolerance, severe non-migraine-like headache, excessive fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, gastrointestinal discomfort and widespread pain of a neuropathic character.

Conclusion: We found consistency in the reported symptoms as well as between our findings and those described by others. Our findings neither confirm nor dismiss a causal link to the Q-HPV vaccine, but they suggest that further research is urgently warranted to clarify the pathophysiology behind the symptoms experienced in these patients and to evaluate the possibility and the nature of any causal link and hopefully establish targeted treatment options.

Genital human papilloma virus (HPV) infections are commonly acquired soon after sexual debut, and persistent HPV infections can cause cervical cancer. In Denmark, the incidence of cervical cancer is around 370 annual cases, and approximately 100 women die from this disease each year [1].


The quadrivalent vaccine that protects against HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18 (Q-HPV vaccine) was introduced in Denmark in 2006 and was included into the Danish childhood vaccination programme in 2009. The HPV vaccine is the only vaccine included in the childhood vaccination programme that has also been offered free of charge to women outside the childhood programme in catch-up programmes.


The vaccine is based on virus-like particles containing aluminum adjuvant to enhance and tailor the immune response for more effective and longer lasting protection. To date, approximately 480,000 girls and young women have been vaccinated with the Q-HPV vaccine in Denmark [1].


While vaccinations are generally safe, warranted and will most likely reduce morbidity and mortality, they also carry an inherent risk of provoking side effects. Post-licensure monitoring may be superior to pre-licensure reviews in detecting rare adverse events. A large Scandinavian study comparing almost 300,000 cases and 700,000 controls found that the Q-HPV vaccine is generally well tolerated in the target population with no significant increase in the incidence of predefined auto­immune diseases 180 days post vaccination [2].


During the past years, a collection of symptoms has been described that does not readily fit into an existing diagnostic entity, but seemingly represents or involves a dysfunction in the autonomic nervous system. The symptoms have been described as suspected side effects to both the Q-HPV vaccine and the divalent HPV vaccine and they have been denoted differently, pos­sibly depending on the medical specialty of those evalu­ating the patients [3-7].


In the following, we describe 53 patients referred to our Syncope Unit for a tilt table test and evaluation of autonomic nervous system function with suspected side effects to the Q-HPV vaccine. 

METHODS

This was a retrospective analysis based on 75 patients consecutively referred to the Syncope Unit from May 2011 to December 2014 for a head-up tilt test due to 
orthostatic intolerance and symptoms compatible with autonomic dysfunction as suspected side effect following vaccination with the Q-HPV vaccine. 


In our analysis, we chose to include only those patients who reported onset of symptoms consistent with autonomic dysfunction within the first two post-vaccination months; this meant that 11 patients were excluded. Patients with known chronic diseases pre-vaccination as well as patients in whom other possible eliciting factors could be recognised (seven patients) were also excluded as were patients who were unable to account for the temporal association between vaccination and symptom onset (four patients); in total, 53 patient were left for further analysis. 


All patients underwent a 60-degree head-up tilt table test (HUT). The postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) was diagnosed according to current guidelines requiring orthostatic intolerance and a sustained heart rate increment of > 30/min or to levels above 120/min within 10 min of postural change in the absence of overt orthostatic hypotension. An increase of > 40/min was required for patients aged 12 to 19 years [8]. 


The patients were interviewed with a special focus on symptoms and on the temporal association between vaccination and symptom onset. The narrative report was supplemented by the short form of the Inter­na­tional Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-SF) quantifying the patient’s physical activity at the time of referral and just before vaccinations on a recall basis [9].


We described the frequency of the most common symptoms in this group of patients. As the diagnosis POTS has been debated in relation to this group of patients, we did a subgroup analysis describing the frequency of the different symptoms in patients with and without the POTS diagnosis.

RESULTS

The analysis includes a total of 53 girls/women aged 12-39 years at the time of examination. Clinical characteristics are given in Table 1. 


The mean age at symptom onset was 21.0 ± 7.4 years (range: 12-39 years). Mean time between vaccination and onset of symptoms was 11.1 ± 12.5 days (range: 0-58 days) and symptoms were reported to appear after the first vaccination in 21 patients (40%), after the second vaccination in 19 patients (36%), and after the third vaccination in 13 patients (25%).


In Figure 1, we present the symptoms that were experienced in more than 25% of the patients; and in the following, we present the typical manifestations of these symptoms: 


Headache: 53 (100%) of the included patients reported new-onset headache. Most of the patients described continuous, daily, severe, debilitating headache with intermittent exacerbations and occasionally pain-free periods. Only a few patients described typical migraine. 


Orthostatic intolerance: 51 (96%) of the patients reported pronounced symptoms of orthostatic intolerance. In all, 24 (45%) patients experienced recurrent syncopal attacks, and 28 (53%) patients were diagnosed with POTS at tilt table test. 


Fatigue: 51 (96%) of the patients complained of excessive fatigue and increased mental and physical fatig­ability.


Cognitive dysfunction: 47 (89%) of patients complained of inability to concentrate, impairment of short-term memory, diminished attention span – often accompanied by ”mental fog”, verbal dyspraxia and new-onset dyslexia.


Disordered sleep: 45 (85%) patients reported a change in sleep pattern – primarily described as new-
onset insomnia and non-refreshing sleep. 


Visual symptoms: 37 patients (70%) reported new-onset hypersensitivity to bright light and (44 patients, 83%) experienced intermittent blurring of vision. 


Gastrointestinal symptoms: Patients reported new-onset gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea (48 patients, 91%); feeling bloated (41 patients, 77%); abdom­inal pain of varying character, intensity and location (37 patients 70%); and changes in bowel habits (29 patients, 55%).


Neuropathic pain: 35 (66%) of the patients complained of pain described as “burning”, “a deep stabbing”, or “jolts of electricity” starting distally, often in one limb, and then progressing proximally and often spreading to the contralateral side. 


Motor symptoms: 35 (66%) of the patients experienced involuntary muscle activity in the form of intermittent tremor and myoclonic twitches.


Dyspnoea: 35 (66%) reported new-onset intermittent dyspnoea often described as air hunger combined with chest tightness or actual chest pain. 


Skin disorders: 34 (64%) of the patients experienced a relapse or – in the adolescent girls – aggravation of acne. 


Voiding dysfunction: Only one patient reported new-onset incontinence, but 31 (59%) patients reported voiding dysfunction with respect to frequency, urge, nocturia and incomplete bladder emptying. 


Limb weakness: 30 (57%) of the patients experienced muscle weakness in the extremities, most often intermittent in nature, confined to the lower extremities and usually lateralised. The intensity varied in parallel with other symptoms, and in six cases it led to invalidity with very limited walking distances and confinement to a wheelchair for longer periods of time. 


Vascular abnormalities: 27 (51%) patients described intermittent changes in skin colour to blue, red, pale or blotchy in the lower parts of the legs and in fingers and toes – the colour changes were often accompanied by painful swelling of the involved limbs. Many patients reported side differences in temperature during these episodes combined with exacerbation of pain in the af­fected extremity. 


Irregular periods: Of the 31 patients who were not on treatment with oral contraception, 15 (48%) reported irregular periods and many reported hypermenorrhoea and worsening of menstrual discomfort and pain. 


Sicca symptoms: 21 (40%) patients experienced new-onset dry mouth, and 15 patients (28%) complained of dry eyes. 


Hyperventilation: 18 (34%) patients reported a new-onset tendency for hyperventilation or excessive sighing.


Besides the actual orthostatic intolerance (syncope and dizziness), the patients described that fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, hyperventilation and dyspnoea and to some degree headache and nausea were accentuated in the upright position. 


In Figure 2, we present the frequency of the above-mentioned symptoms in patients with and without the POTS diagnosis, respectively, demonstrating that the two groups have similar patterns and severities of symptoms regardless of the POTS diagnosis. The apparent trend towards POTS patients having a more severe symptom-burden did not reach statistical significance. 


Based on the IPAQ-SF questionnaire, 67% had a high and 33% had a moderate activity level before symptom onset. Five patients had a very high activity level and were competing on a national or international level in their sport. 


Fifty-two out of 53 patients (98%) reported that their activities of daily living were seriously affected and 40 (75%) had had to quit school or work for more than two months due to their symptoms. 

DISCUSSION

The present study is a systematic review of 53 patients referred to our unit with symptoms of orthostatic intolerance and generalised dysautonomia as a suspected side effect of vaccination against human papilloma virus. 


The main finding of our study was a high degree of consistency in the symptoms experienced by these patients. The most common symptoms reported were headache, dysautonomia symptoms, excessive fatigue, cognitive dysfunction and widespread pain of a neuropathic character. 


Many of the symptoms described in our review as well as in the product resume and adverse event reports may at first seem both diffuse and very common. How­ever, having evaluated more than 70 patients with the suspected side effects, we believe that there is a recognisable pattern of symptoms. Our findings correlate well with the clinical picture presented by Kinoshita et al [6] and Nishioka et al [7], except for the greater proportion of patients suffering from orthostatic intolerance in our group of patients – which may be expected as patients are primarily referred to our unit due to orthostatic intolerance. 


The patients in our study were characterised by remarkably high levels of physical activity before symptom onset, which may have affected their immune response to vaccination [10]. 


In analysing our data, we have considered the possibility of the phenomenon known as mass psychogenic illness, which has been defined as the collective occurrence of a constellation of symptoms suggestive of organic illness, but without an identified cause in a group of people with shared beliefs about the cause of the symptoms [11]. However, we do not find it likely that such a reaction constitutes the background for symptoms and signs found in our patients given their prevaccination history, the chronicity of their symptoms and the temporal and geographical dispersion. 


Some of the patients have been suspected of suffering from a functional disorder. However, as the autonomic nervous system innervates, monitors and controls most of the tissues and organs in the body – autonomic dysfunction often presents with a very diffuse and widespread pattern of symptoms [12]. The differential diagnostic procedure – especially with emphasis on the differentiation between functional disorder and autonomic dysfunction – is highly important in this group of patients and may require a faceted approach with involvement of expertise from different medical specialties.


We may have diagnosed more than half of these patients with POTS – but POTS should probably be looked upon as a symptom secondary to another yet unidentified condition rather than as a disease entity of its own. This is underscored by the fact that patients ex­peri­enced the same degree and pattern of symptoms regardless of the POTS diagnosis. The underlying aetiology behind POTS is still somewhat elusive and the prevalence of POTS is most common in the same subset of the population that are receiving the HPV vaccine (young women) [13], which complicates the aetiological discussion. We found a close chronologic association to the vaccination, but are well aware that this does not necessarily imply a causal relationship.


It is our clinical experience that substantial improvement is possible in POTS patients with multi-faceted treatment consisting of a variety of both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment modal­ities [13].


A clarification of the probability and nature of a possible causal link between the symptoms and the HPV vaccine is important in order to ensure that future vaccines may give informed consent based on updated information about possible side effects. 


Establishing a relevant and coherent diagnosis and treatment for these patients would contribute to maintaining the trust and credibility in this vaccine which is important as a preventive measure against HPV-related cancer. 

CONCLUSION

In this study we present symptoms reported by patients referred for orthostatic intolerance suspected to be secondary to vaccina tion against HPV. We found consist­ency in the reported symptoms as well as between our findings and those reported by others. Given the symptomatology, we suggest that the pathogenic alteration is located in the autonomic nervous system. Our findings do not confirm or dismiss a causal link to the HPV vaccine – but they do suggest that further research is urgently warranted in order to clarify the pathophysiology of the symptoms experienced, to evaluate the possible link to the vaccine and to establish targeted treatment options for the affected patients.

‘Thursday, March 26, 2015, TV2 one of Denmark’s national television stations aired a documentary on HPV vaccines entitled, The Vaccinated Girls – Sick and Betrayed. It focused on the condition of 3 girls suffering from serious new medical conditions after being vaccinated against HPV with Gardasil.

The one thing they have in common with thousands of other girls around the world is they were healthy before they got the vaccine – now, they are seriously ill. All three girls have been examined from head to toe with no conclusive diagnosis and no help with their symptoms, much like the girls in other countries where HPV vaccines are being used.’

US student sues Swedish college for tuition fees

An American mathematics student has sued a Swedish university for rejecting her calls to repay tuition fees after she slammed course organizers for low quality of teaching and such poor logistics that students had to sit on the floor.

Connie Dickinson came to Sweden to study mathematics at Mälardalen University (Mälardalens högskola), a course which was later rapped for sub-standard teaching.

After two years of studies, she told the college in 2013 to return her tuition fees of 183,000 kronor (then $28,000) after the Swedish Higher Education Authority (Universitetskanslersämbetet) criticized the specific mathematics and statistics course as not reaching an appropriate standard.

Mälardalen University has campuses in the central Swedish towns of Västerås and Eskilstuna. The school has consistently refused to refund the money on the basis that the request is not supported by Swedish law.

“Discontent is subjective,” the university head of finance Björn Magnusson told Swedish Radio in 2013.

The disgruntled student, meanwhile, has complained that the teacher simply handed out some papers and then left, and seemed to speak neither Swedish nor English. She has also claimed that there was a lack of chairs, forcing some of her classmates to sit on the floor.

Sweden-based Centre for Justice (Centrum för rättvisa), which helps individuals protect their human rights through litigation, has now sued the school on behalf of the former student.
In an opinion piece published in Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter on Monday, representatives of Centre for Justice write: “When Connie Dickinson tried to assert her right and demand back the money it turned out that she had ended up in a judicial vacuum because there were no rules that were applicable to her situation. Connie Dickinson feels tricked as well as without legal rights.”

Although higher education is more or less free for Swedes and students from the EEA area, overseas students have paid tuition fees since 2011.

This video shows how a less than a year old girl Anna is being kidnapped. Kidnapping is made by the Norwegian Barnevernet ( social services ) who snatches children on a regular basis from traditional families. As you can see the is no resistance possible against 3 of those bastards, 2 of which pressed the young mother against the floor. Child is being brought to a secret address unknown to the family or relatives.

As the official statistics of Norway point out, that annually over 10.000 children are being kidnapped without any investigation or a hearing before a judge, and without showing any paperwork.
This is 5-6 children every hour. In who's interest those children are being taken know only government officials. Corruption level in the field of child trade / adoption in Norway is the highest in the world. Some actually say that Norwegian mafia is involved in it.

Norway 'seizing children to fight inbreeding'

A Lithuanian talk show has accused Norway of seizing foreign children and fostering them to Norwegian parents in order to combat “the highest inbreeding in the whole world”.


The Lithuanian talk show ‘An Hour with Ruta’, on the independent LNK channel, last week ran a slot on Norway’s controversial Child Protection Service (Barnevernet), arguing that it was deliberately targeting Lithuanian children.


“In Norway, Lithuanian children are taken away from their parents. Lithuanian children in Norway are a sought-after commodity,” the programme began, before interviewing Neringa Ozolina, a Lithuanian based in Ålesund, who has become an authority in the Baltic state on Norway's child protection regime.

“The birth rate is the lowest in Norway,” Ozolina told the show's host Rūta Mikelkevičiūte. “Inbreeding in Norway is the greatest in the world, and the same is true of the percentage of children born with Down syndrome and other birth defects.”

The issue has come to prominence in Lithuanian this year largely on the back of press coverage of the struggle of Gražina Leščinskiene, a Lithuanian whose son Gabrieliaus has been taken into care by Norway's Child Protection Service, to get her son back.

According to Leščinskiene's lawyer, Gabrieliaus was seized after he apparently displayed "sexualised behaviour", including frequent visits to the bathroom and obsessively washing and sniffing his hands.

Dag Halvorsen, Norway’s ambassador to Lithuania, said the controversy over Lithuanian children taken into care in Norway was now taking up more of his time than any other issue.

“This issue has been the biggest news story in Lithuania this year, and has taken up most of our time in recent months,” he told Norway’s NRK channel.

“It is said that there is a history of inbreeding in Norway and that there is a high incidence of Down syndrome among Norwegian children. They argue therefore that it is important for Norwegian authorities to obtain fresh, foreign children, such as Lithuanian ones, to strengthen the genetic material.”


Halvorsen has recently hired a Lithuanian public relations company to try and counteract what he sees as Lithuanian misconceptions about Norway's child protection regime.

Norway's Child Protection Services is the subject of almost non-stop controversy over its decisions to take the children of foreign parents into care.

In February the president of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, accused it of behaving "like the Nazis" by not allowing the mother of two Czech boys seized to talk to her children in Czech.

The Power of a Cooperative Press -- The Mass Media

Now, you know why the Sunday Morning TV programming is full of "Talking Heads" that so fill the airwaves with opinions on everything, so that the average person is completely bewildered as to what is the truth! When you combine the power of Rhetoric, above, with the discussion of the Mass Media role, you can understand better the part of the plan coming up next:

This single paragraph tells us all we need to know about politicians of both parties, as they gradually guide us into the New World Order. They deliberately intend to "debilitate" our minds and to "distract" us through "sham" speeches of "empty eloquence". We certainly have seen and heard enough of this type of speaking to last us a lifetime! You can just put the name of any number of politicians on both sides of the aisle that fit this description. Talk, talk, and talk some more, is the motto of the consummate politician.

Today, the talk is all about Patriotism, blind patriotism. Just as we did with Clinton, so are we doing with Bush today: we are accepting "words for deeds" and "rarely pause to note in the public arena, whether promises are followed by performance". The American people are sheep ready to sheer.

The Press was further supposed to fulfill a very basic need in this plan, the need for continual conflict in order to bring about the planned change. Listen to this portion of The Protocols:

The Press is supposed to keep us in turmoil, because the authors of the Protocol firmly believed that "Conflict Brings About Change, and Planned Conflict Brings About Planned Change" [Hegelian Doctrine, first espoused in 1823, by a Freemason giving Professor Hegel the concept]. Since we are moving, by Plan, toward the calculated change of government -- a global, dictatorial government historically unprecedented in power and repression -- then we need a lot of planned conflict fed us daily. The FBI and CIA appear to be joining forces and combining resources to form an American equivalent to the Russian KGB, a most fearsome force against the Russian people for over 70 years of Communist repression.

Are the Protocols a Forgery?

The document known now as The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is one of the most important documents ever to come to light in the world. It can be described as the blueprint for the domination of the world by a secret brotherhood. In fact, the title of the second publication in 1922 was "World Conquest Through World Government".

It is graphic in its contempt for those who will be its victims, in its profound understanding of the human condition and mind; and it is equally graphic in detailing the methodology it will use against, and with the complicity of, the world's population, in such a way as to go unrecognized by the vast majority of the participants.



The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is a document which should be read by all. No other single document provides us with such a clear understanding of why the world is gradually moving towards a One World Government, controlled by an irreproachable hidden hand. In The Protocols, we are given clear insights as to why so many incomprehensible political decisions are made in both local, national and international politics, which seem to continually work against the favor of the masses and in favor of the vested interests of the banking/industrial cartel -- the global power elite.

The average person normally reacts with outrage and horror today at the very suggestion that there may be a conspiracy as grand as The Protocols. But the average person has absolutely no information on which to base his or her opinion. The reaction to exposure of this ancient conspiracy is merely a pre-programmed Pavlovian reaction, created and instilled by the very perpetrators of the same ancient conspiracy. And today, very few will dare speak above a whisper of that all-encompassing oppression of mankind.

It is extremely rare today to find information about the ancient conspiracy, due to the mass censorship of the printed word, and the unwillingness of the general population to consider as a possibility something which they have been brought up since birth to see as outrageous and ridiculous. Each generation is born into a world of greater and greater censorship and illusion.

As you read further, please try to keep an open mind, and realize that your initial reaction has been conditioned over years of newspaper and television exposure. What you're about to read will shock you.

History of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion

In the interests of keeping this explanation brief, I have provided highlights only in the chequered and colorful history of The Protocols. For a more detailed discussion, please refer to the book Waters Flowing Eastward by Mrs L. Fry.

In 1884 the daughter of a Russian general, Justine Glinka, was in Paris obtaining secret political information to be communicated back to Russia. She employed a Jewish assistant, Joseph Schorst, a member of the Miz-raim Lodge in Paris. Schorst offered to obtain for her a document of great importance to Russia, on payment of 2,500 francs.

She forwarded the French original, accompanied by a Russian translation, to the Tsar in St Petersburg, but it was suppressed by those under obligation to wealthy Jews. The Tsar never received it, and Glinka was eventually banished to her estate in Orel.

Glinka gave a copy to Alexis Sukhotin, who showed the document to two friends, Stepanov and Professor Sergius A. Nilus; the former had it printed and circulated privately in 1897; the second, Nilus, published it for the first time in Russia in 1901, in a book entitled The Great Within the Small. At about the same time, a friend of Nilus, G. Butmi, brought a copy to England, where it was apparently deposited in the British Museum on August 10, 1906. [Ed: The British Museum deny ever having received a copy of the Protocols.]

Meantime, through Jewish members of the Russian police, minutes of the proceedings of the Basle congress in 1897 had been obtained and these were found to correspond with the Protocols.

In January 1917, Nilus prepared a second edition, revised and documented, for publication. But before it could be put on the market, the revolution of March 1917 had taken place, and Kerenskii, who had succeeded to power, ordered the whole edition of Nilus' book to be destroyed. In 1924, Prof. Nilus was arrested by the Cheka in Kiev, imprisoned, and tortured; he was told by the Jewish president of the court, that this treatment was meted out to him for "having done them incalculable harm in publishing the Protocols". Released for a few months, he was again led before the GPU (Cheka), this time in Moscow and confined. Set at liberty in February 1926, he died in exile in the district of Vladimir on January 13, 1929.

A few copies of Nilus's second edition were saved and sent to other countries where they were published: in Germany, by Gottfreid zum Beek (1919); in England, by The Britons (1920); in France, by Mgr. Jouin in La Revue Internationale des Societes Secretes, and by Urbain Gohier in La Vieille France; in the United States, by Small, Maynard & Co. (Boston 1920), and by The Beckwith Co. (New York 1921). Later, editions appeared in Italian, Russian, Arabic, and even in Japanese.

The Protocols gained widespread recognition upon their translation into English, in 1920. They soon became notorious. Esteemed newspapers such as The Times and The Morning Post (whose Moscow correspondent Victor E. Marsden was responsible in 1921 for the translation used in this document) covered the story in numerous articles, much to the chagrin of world Jewry, who immediately began the propaganda bandwagon rolling. They not only denied that the Protocols were a Jewish plot, but also that there was any plot whatsoever. The latter was quite clearly false to all educated men and women of the time. "Probably so much money and energy were never before in history expended on the effort to suppress a single document." The period of 1920 "marks the end of the time when the Jewish question could be impartially openly discussed in public." (Douglas Reed -- "The Controversy of Zion".

The Protocols of Zion - Fraud or Genuine?

There have been many attempts to discount The Protocols as a fraud, and the fact remains that there is no documentary proof that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion are what they say they are. Allegations of forgery and fraud have dogged their public history. However, despite many opinions to the contrary, the documents have never been categorically proved to be fraudulent. The fact also remains that since the apparent publication, world events have unfolded exactly according to their description - surely this should be proof enough that a plan such as the Protocols exists?

M. Henry Ford, in an interview published in the New York World, February 17, 1921, put the case for the Protocols tersely and convincingly thus:


"The only statement I care to make about the PROTOCOLS is that they fit in with what is going on. They are sixteen years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time. THEY FIT IT NOW."

We are gradually being mobilized into a New World Order. The One World Government is being facilitated by the gradual movement of nation states into larger power blocks such as the European Union and NAFTA etc. The United Nations has come into power as a global police force under the excuse of being a protector and benefactor of the world, exactly as outlined in the Protocols. The Jews have symbolically "returned to Palestine", as the State of Israel now exists as the official universal "homeland" of all Jews, despite the vast majority of Jews having no racial connection with Israel whatsoever.

It is my belief that rather than being the plan of Jewish leaders to control the world as many believe, this document is really the Grand Plan to create the One-World Government, Economy, and Satanic religion known as the New World Order. The reason it was written as a thin veneer of a Jewish conspiracy to conquer the world for their Messiah, was so that the document would be thoroughly discredited, and forgotten. Once the vast numbers of the peoples of the world had discredited the Protocols, the Grand Plan could be used quite freely as a blueprint on how to achieve global government, religion, and economy.

PROTOCOL No. 1

1. ....Putting aside fine phrases we shall speak of the significance of each thought: by comparisons and deductions we shall throw light upon surrounding facts.

2. What I am about to set forth, then, is our system from the two points of view, that of ourselves and that of the GOYIM [i.e., non-Jews].

3. It must be noted that men with bad instincts are more in number than the good, and therefore the best results in governing them are attained by violence and terrorisation, and not by academic discussions. Every man aims at power, everyone would like to become a dictator if only he could, and rare indeed are the men who would not be willing to sacrifice the welfare of all for the sake of securing their own welfare.

4. What has restrained the beasts of prey who are called men? What has served for their guidance hitherto?

5. In the beginnings of the structure of society, they were subjected to brutal and blind force; afterwards - to Law, which is the same force, only disguised. I draw the conclusion that by the law of nature, right lies in force.

6. Political freedom is an idea but not a fact. This idea one must know how to apply whenever it appears necessary with this bait of an idea to attract the masses of the people to one's party for the purpose of crushing another who is in authority. This task is rendered easier if the opponent has himself been infected with the idea of freedom, SO-CALLED LIBERALISM, and, for the sake of an idea, is willing to yield some of his power. It is precisely here that the triumph of our theory appears; the slackened reins of government are immediately, by the law of life, caught up and gathered together by a new hand, because the blind might of the nation cannot for one single day exist without guidance, and the new authority merely fits into the place of the old already weakened by liberalism.

7. In our day the power which has replaced that of the rulers who were liberal is the power of Gold. Time was when Faith ruled. The idea of freedom is impossible of realization because no one knows how to use it with moderation. It is enough to hand over a people to self-government for a certain length of time for that people to be turned into a disorganized mob. From that moment on we get internecine strife which soon develops into battles between classes, in the midst of which States burn down and their importance is reduced to that of a heap of ashes.

8. Whether a State exhausts itself in its own convulsions, whether its internal discord brings it under the power of external foes - in any case it can be accounted irretrievably lost: IT IS IN OUR POWER. The despotism of Capital, which is entirely in our hands, reaches out to it a straw that the State, willy-nilly, must take hold of: if not - it goes to the bottom.

9. Should anyone of a liberal mind say that such reflections as the above are immoral, I would put the following questions: If every State has two foes and if in regard to the external foe it is allowed and not considered immoral to use every manner and art of conflict, as for example to keep the enemy in ignorance of plans of attack and defense, to attack him by night or in superior numbers, then in what way can the same means in regard to a worse foe, the destroyer of the structure of society and the commonweal, be called immoral and not permissible?

10. Is it possible for any sound logical mind to hope with any success to guide crowds by the aid of reasonable counsels and arguments, when any objection or contradiction, senseless though it may be, can be made and when such objection may find more favor with the people, whose powers of reasoning are superficial? Men in masses and the men of the masses, being guided solely by petty passions, paltry beliefs, traditions and sentimental theorems, fall a prey to party dissension, which hinders any kind of agreement even on the basis of a perfectly reasonable argument. Every resolution of a crowd depends upon a chance or packed majority, which, in its ignorance of political secrets, puts forth some ridiculous resolution that lays in the administration a seed of anarchy.

11. The political has nothing in common with the moral. The ruler who is governed by the moral is not a skilled politician, and is therefore unstable on his throne. He who wishes to rule must have recourse both to cunning and to make-believe. Great national qualities, like frankness and honesty, are vices in politics, for they bring down rulers from their thrones more effectively and more certainly than the most powerful enemy. Such qualities must be the attributes of the kingdoms of the GOYIM, but we must in no wise be guided by them.

12. Our right lies in force. The word "right" is an abstract thought and proved by nothing. The word means no more than: Give me what I want in order that thereby I may have a proof that I am stronger than you.

13. Where does right begin? Where does it end?

14. In any State in which there is a bad organization of authority, an impersonality of laws and of the rulers who have lost their personality amid the flood of rights ever multiplying out of liberalism, I find a new right - to attack by the right of the strong, and to scatter to the winds all existing forces of order and regulation, to reconstruct all institutions and to become the sovereign lord of those who have left to us the rights of their power by laying them down voluntarily in their liberalism.

15. Our power in the present tottering condition of all forms of power will be more invincible than any other, because it will remain invisible until the moment when it has gained such strength that no cunning can any longer undermine it.

16. Out of the temporary evil we are now compelled to commit will emerge the good of an unshakable rule, which will restore the regular course of the machinery of the national life, brought to naught by liberalism. The result justifies the means. Let us, however, in our plans, direct our attention not so much to what is good and moral as to what is necessary and useful.

17. Before us is a plan in which is laid down strategically the line from which we cannot deviate without running the risk of seeing the labor of many centuries brought to naught.

18. In order to elaborate satisfactory forms of action it is necessary to have regard to the rascality, the slackness, the instability of the mob, its lack of capacity to understand and respect the conditions of its own life, or its own welfare. It must be understood that the might of a mob is blind, senseless and un-reasoning force ever at the mercy of a suggestion from any side. The blind cannot lead the blind without bringing them into the abyss; consequently, members of the mob, upstarts from the people even though they should be as a genius for wisdom, yet having no understanding of the political, cannot come forward as leaders of the mob without bringing the whole nation to ruin.

19. Only one trained from childhood for independent rule can have understanding of the words that can be made up of the political alphabet.

20. A people left to itself, i.e., to upstarts from its midst, brings itself to ruin by party dissensions excited by the pursuit of power and honors and the disorders arising therefrom. Is it possible for the masses of the people calmly and without petty jealousies to form judgment, to deal with the affairs of the country, which cannot be mixed up with personal interest? Can they defend themselves from an external foe? It is unthinkable; for a plan broken up into as many parts as there are heads in the mob, loses all homogeneity, and thereby becomes unintelligible and impossible of execution.

WE ARE DESPOTS

21. It is only with a despotic ruler that plans can be elaborated extensively and clearly in such a way as to distribute the whole properly among the several parts of the machinery of the State: from this the conclusion is inevitable that a satisfactory form of government for any country is one that concentrates in the hands of one responsible person. Without an absolute despotism there can be no existence for civilization which is carried on not by the masses but by their guide, whosoever that person may be. The mob is savage, and displays its savagery at every opportunity. The moment the mob seizes freedom in its hands it quickly turns to anarchy, which in itself is the highest degree of savagery.

22. Behold the alcoholic animals, bemused with drink, the right to an immoderate use of which comes along with freedom. It is not for us and ours to walk that road. The peoples of the GOYIM are bemused with alcoholic liquors; their youth has grown stupid on classicism and from early immorality, into which it has been inducted by our special agents - by tutors, lackeys, governesses in the houses of the wealthy, by clerks and others, by our women in the places of dissipation frequented by the GOYIM. In the number of these last I count also the so-called "society ladies," voluntary followers of the others in corruption and luxury.

23. Our countersign is - Force and Make-believe. Only force conquers in political affairs, especially if it be concealed in the talents essential to statesmen. Violence must be the principle, and cunning and make-believe the rule for governments which do not want to lay down their crowns at the feet of agents of some new power. This evil is the one and only means to attain the end, the good. Therefore we must not stop at bribery, deceit and treachery when they should serve towards the attainment of our end. In politics one must know how to seize the property of others without hesitation if by it we secure submission and sovereignty.

24. Our State, marching along the path of peaceful conquest, has the right to replace the horrors of war by less noticeable and more satisfactory sentences of death, necessary to maintain the terror which tends to produce blind submission. Just but merciless severity is the greatest factor of strength in the State: not only for the sake of gain but also in the name of duty, for the sake of victory, we must keep to the programme of violence and make-believe. The doctrine of squaring accounts is precisely as strong as the means of which it makes use. Therefore it is not so much by the means themselves as by the doctrine of severity that we shall triumph and bring all governments into subjection to our super-government. It is enough for them to know that we are too merciless for all disobedience to cease.

WE SHALL END LIBERTY

25. Far back in ancient times we were the first to cry among the masses of the people the words "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity," words many times repeated since these days by stupid poll-parrots who, from all sides around, flew down upon these baits and with them carried away the well-being of the world, true freedom of the individual, formerly so well guarded against the pressure of the mob. The would-be wise men of the GOYIM, the intellectuals, could not make anything out of the uttered words in their abstractedness; did not see that in nature there is no equality, cannot be freedom: that Nature herself has established inequality of minds, of characters, and capacities, just as immutably as she has established subordination to her laws: never stopped to think that the mob is a blind thing, that upstarts elected from among it to bear rule are, in regard to the political, the same blind men as the mob itself, that the adept, though he be a fool, can yet rule, whereas the non-adept, even if he were a genius, understands nothing in the political - to all those things the GOYIM paid no regard; yet all the time it was based upon these things that dynastic rule rested: the father passed on to the son a knowledge of the course of political affairs in such wise that none should know it but members of the dynasty and none could betray it to the governed. As time went on, the meaning of the dynastic transference of the true position of affairs in the political was lost, and this aided the success of our cause.

26. In all corners of the earth the words "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity," brought to our ranks, thanks to our blind agents, whole legions who bore our banners with enthusiasm. And all the time these words were canker-worms at work boring into the well-being of the GOYIM, putting an end everywhere to peace, quiet, solidarity and destroying all the foundations of the GOY States. As you will see later, this helped us to our triumph: it gave us the possibility, among other things, of getting into our hands the master card - the destruction of the privileges, or in other words of the very existence of the aristocracy of the GOYIM, that class which was the only defense peoples and countries had against us. On the ruins of the eternal and genealogical aristocracy of the GOYIM we have set up the aristocracy of our educated class headed by the aristocracy of money. The qualifications for this aristocracy we have established in wealth, which is dependent upon us, and in knowledge, for which our learned elders provide the motive force.

27. Our triumph has been rendered easier by the fact that in our relations with the men, whom we wanted, we have always worked upon the most sensitive chords of the human mind, upon the cash account, upon the cupidity, upon the insatiability for material needs of man; and each one of these human weaknesses, taken alone, is sufficient to paralyze initiative, for it hands over the will of men to the disposition of him who has bought their activities.

28. The abstraction of freedom has enabled us to persuade the mob in all countries that their government is nothing but the steward of the people who are the owners of the country, and that the steward may be replaced like a worn-out glove.

29. It is this possibility of replacing the representatives of the people which has placed at our disposal, and, as it were, given us the power of appointment.

WHO ARE THE ELDERS?

This is a secret which has not been revealed. They are the Hidden Hand. They are not the "Board of Deputies" (the Jewish Parliament in England) or the "Universal Israelite Alliance" which sits in Paris. But the late Walter Rathenau of the Allgemeiner Electricitaets Gesellschaft has thrown a little light on the subject and doubtless he was in possession of their names, being, in all likelihood, one of the chief leaders himself. Writing in the WIENER FREIE PRESSE, December 24, 1912, he said:


"Three hundred men, each of whom knows all the others, govern the fate of the European continent, and they elect their successors from their entourage."

In the year 1844, on the eve of the Jewish Revolution of 1848, Benjamin Disraeli, whose real name was Israel, and who was a "damped," or baptized Jew, published his novel, CONINGSBY, in which occurs this ominous passage:


"The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes."

And he went on to show that these personages were all Jews.

Now that Providence has brought to the light of day these secret Protocols all men may clearly see the hidden personages specified by Disraeli at work "behind the scenes" of all the Governments. This revelation entails on all peoples the grave responsibility of examining and revising AU FOND their attitude towards the Race and Nation which boasts of its survival over all Empires.

Notes I. - "Agentur" and "The Political."

There are two words in this translation which are unusual, the word "AGENTUR" and "political" used as a substantive, AGENTUR appears to be a word adopted from the original and it means the whole body of agents and agencies made use of by the Elders, whether members of the tribe or their Gentile tools.

By "the Political" Mr. Marsden means, not exactly the "body politic" but the entire machinery of politics.

Notes II - The Symbolic Snake of Judaism.

Protocol III opens with a reference to the Symbolic Snake of Judaism. In his Epilogue to the 1905 Edition of the Protocols, Nilus gives the following interesting account of this symbol:

"According to the records of secret Jewish Zionism, Solomon and other Jewish learned men already, in 929 B.C., thought out a scheme in theory for a peaceful conquest of the whole universe by Zion. As history developed, this scheme was worked out in detail and completed by men who were subsequently initiated in this question. These learned men decided by peaceful means to conquer the world for Zion with the slyness of the Symbolic Snake, whose head was to represent those who have been initiated into the plans of the Jewish administration, and the body of the Snake to represent the Jewish people - the administration was always kept secret, EVEN FROM THE JEWISH NATION ITSELF. As this Snake penetrated into the hearts of the nations which it encountered it undermined and devoured all the non-Jewish power of these States. It is foretold that the Snake has still to finish its work, strictly adhering to the designed plan, until the course which it has to run is closed by the return of its head to Zion and until, by this means, the Snake has completed its round of Europe and has encircled it - and until, by dint of enchaining Europe, it has encompassed the whole world. This it is to accomplish by using every endeavor to subdue the other countries by an ECONOMICAL CONQUEST. The return of the head of the Snake to Zion can only be accomplished after the power of all the Sovereign of Europe has been laid low, that is to say, when by means of economic crises and wholesale destruction effected everywhere, there shall have been brought about a spiritual demoralization and a moral corruption, chiefly with the assistance of Jewish women masquerading as French, Italians, etc.. These are the surest spreaders of licentiousness into the lives of the leading men at the heads of nations. A map of the course of the Symbolic Snake is shown as follows: - Its first stage in Europe was in 429 B.C. in Greece, where, about the time of Pericles, the Snake first started eating into the power of that country. The second stage was in Rome in the time of Augustus, about 69 B.C.. The third in Madrid in the time of Charles V, in A.D. 1552. The fourth in Paris about 1790, in the time of Louis XVI. The fifth in London from 1814 onwards (after the downfall of Napoleon). The sixth in Berlin in 1871 after the Franco-Prussian war. The seventh in St. Petersburg, over which is drawn the head of the Snake under the date of 1881. [This "Snake" is now being drawn through the Americas and in the United States of America, it has been partially identified as the "Council on Foreign Relations" (C.F.R.) and the "Trilateral Commission"]. All these States which the Snake traversed have had the foundations of their constitutions shaken, Germany, with its apparent power, forming no exception to the rule. In economic conditions, England and Germany are spared, but only till the conquest of Russia is accomplished by the Snake, on which at present [i.e., 1905] all its efforts are concentrated. The further course of the Snake is not shown on this map, but arrows indicate its next movement towards Moscow, Kieft and Odessa. It is now well known to us to what extent the latter cities form the centres of the militant Jewish race. Constantinople is shown as the last stage of the Snake's course before it reaches Jerusalem. (This map was drawn years before the occurrence of the "Young Turk" - i.e., Jewish - Revolution in Turkey).

Notes III. - The term "Goyim," meaning Gentile
or non-Jews, is used throughout the Protocols and is retained by Mr. Marsden.

The above extract from Herzl's DIARY is an extremely significant bit of evidence bearing on the existence of the Jew World Plot and authenticity of the Protocols, but any reader of intelligence will be able from his own knowledge of recent history and from his own experience to confirm the genuineness of every line of them, and it is in the light of this LIVING comment that all readers are invited to study Mr. Marsden's translation of this terribly inhuman document.

Here is what Dr. Ehrenpreis, Chief Rabbi of Sweden, said in 1924, concerning the Protocols: "Long have I been well acquainted with the contents of the Protocols, indeed for many years before they were ever published in the Christian press. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion were in point of fact not the original Protocols at all, but a compressed extract of the same. Of the 70 Elders of Zion, in the matter of origin and of the existence of the original Protocols, there are only ten men in the entire world who know.

I participated with Dr. Herzl in the first Zionist Congress which was held in Basle in 1897. Herzl was the most prominent figure at the Jewish World Congress. Herzl foresaw, twenty years before we experienced them, the revolution which brought the Great War, and he prepared us for that which was to happen. He foresaw the splitting up of Turkey, that England would obtain control of Palestine. We may expect important developments in the world."

And here is another very significant circumstance.The present successor of Herzl, as leader of the Zionist movement, Dr. Weizmann, quoted one of these sayings at the send-off banquet given to Chief Rabbi Hertz on October 6, 1920. The Chief Rabbi was on the point of leaving for HIS Empire tour of H.R.H., the Prince of Wales. And this is the "saying" of the Sages which Dr. Weizmann quoted: "A beneficent protection which God has instituted in the life of the Jew is that He has dispersed him all over the world." (JEWISH GUARDIAN, Oct. 8, 1920.)

Now compare this with the last clause of but one of Protocol XI.


"God has granted to us, His Chosen People, the gift of dispersion, and from this, which appears to all eyes to be our weakness, has come forth all our strength, which has now brought us to the threshold of sovereignty over all the world."

The remarkable correspondence between these passages proves several things. It proves that the Learned Elders exist. It proves that Dr. Weizmann knows all about them. It proves that the desire for a "National Home" in Palestine is only camouflage and an infinitesimal part of the Jew's real object. It proves that the Jews of the world have no intention of settling in Palestine or any separate country, and that their annual prayer that they may all meet "Next Year in Jerusalem" is merely a piece of their characteristic make-believe. It also demonstrates that the Jews are now a world menace, and that the Aryan races will have to domicile them permanently out of Europe..

INTRODUCTION

Of the Protocols themselves little need be said in the way of introduction. The book in which they are embodied was first published in the year 1897 by Philip Stepanov for private circulation among his intimate friends. The first time Nilus published them was in 1901 in a book called The Great Within the Small and reprinted in 1905. A copy of this is in the British Museum bearing the date of its reception, August 10, 1906. All copies that were known to exist in Russia were destroyed in the Kerensky regime, and under his successors the possession of a copy by anyone in Soviet land was a crime sufficient to ensure the owner's of being shot on sight. The fact is in itself sufficient proof of the genuineness of the Protocols. The Jewish journals, of course, say that they are a forgery, leaving it to be understood that Professor Nilus, who embodied them in a work of his own, had concocted them for his own purposes.

Mr. Henry Ford, in an interview published in the New York WORLD, February 17th, 1921, put the case for Nilus tersely and convincingly thus:


"The only statement I care to make about the PROTOCOLS is that they fit in with what is going on. They are sixteen years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time. THEY FIT IT NOW."

Indeed they do!

The word "Protocol" signifies a precis gummed on to the front of a document, a draft of a document, minutes of proceedings. In this instance, "Protocol" means minutes of the proceedings of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion. These Protocols give the substance of addresses delivered to the innermost circle of the Rulers of Zion. They reveal the converted plan of action of the Jewish Nation developed through the ages and edited by the Elders themselves up to date. Parts and summaries of the plan have been published from time to time during the centuries as the secrets of the Elders have leaked out. The claim of the Jews that the Protocols are forgeries is in itself an admission of their genuineness, for they NEVER ATTEMPT TO ANSWER THE FACTS corresponding to the THREATS which the Protocols contain, and, indeed, the correspondence between prophecy and fulfillment is too glaring to be set aside or obscured. This the Jews well know and therefore evade.

Captain A.H.M. Ramsay records in his classic, The Nameless War: "According to a letter published in "Plain English" (a weekly review published by the North British Publishing Co. and edited by the late Lord Alfred Douglas) on 3rd September, 1921:-

"The Learned Elders have been in existence for a much longer period than they have perhaps suspected. My friend, Mr. L. D. van Valckert, of Amsterdam, has recently sent me a letter containing two extracts from the Synagogue at Mulheim. The volume in which they are contained was lost at some period during the Napoleonic Wars, and has recently come into Mr. van Valckert's possession. It is written in German, and contains extracts of letters sent and received by the authorities of the Mulheim Synagogue. The first entry he sends me is of a letter received:-

16th June, 1647.

From O.C. (i.e. Oliver Cromwell), by Ebenezer Pratt.

"In return for financial support will advocate admission of Jews to England: This however impossible while Charles living.

Charles cannot be executed without trial, adequate grounds for which do not at present exist. Therefore advise that Charles be assassinated, but will have nothing to do with arrangements for procuring an assassin, though willing to help in his escape."

In reply was dispatched the following:-

12th July, 1647.

To O.C. by E. Pratt.

"Will grant financial aid as soon as Charles removed and Jews admitted. Assassination too dangerous. Charles shall be given opportunity to escape: His recapture will make trial and execution possible. The support will be liberal, but useless to discuss terms until trial commences."

Captain Ramsay quotes Isaac Disraeli, father of Benjamin, Earl of Beaconsfield, Britain's first Jewish Prime Minister, in his two volume "Life of Charles I", published in 1851: "The English Revolution under Charles I was unlike any preceding one . . . From that time and event we contemplate in our history the phases of revolution." There were many more to follow on similar lines, notably in France. In 1897 a further important clue to these mysterious happenings fell into Gentile hands in the shape of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

In that document we read this remarkable sentence: "Remember the French Revolution, the secrets of its preparation are well known to us for it was entirely the work of our hands." (See Protocol No. III, XIV).

In 1865 a certain Jewish Rabbi named Rzeichorn delivered a speech at Prague. It is a very accurate summary of many aspects of the Protocols which would come to light several decades later and was published eleven years later by Sir John Radcliff, who was assassinated shortly afterwards, giving testimony to the powers of the secret organisation of inner elite Jewry even then.

The presumption is strong that the Protocols were issued, or reissued, at the First Zionist Congress held at Basle in 1897 under the presidency of the Father of Modern Zionism, the late Theodore Herzl.

There has been recently published a volume of Herzl's "Diaries," a translation of some passages which appeared in the JEWISH CHRONICLE of July 14, 1922. Herzl gives an account of his first visit to England in 1895, and his conversation with Colonel Goldsmid, a Jew brought up as a Christian, an officer in the English Army, and at heart a Jew Nationalist all the time. Goldsmid suggested to Herzl that the best way of expropriating the English aristocracy, and so destroying their power to protect the people of England against Jew domination, was to put excessive taxes on the land. Herzl thought this an excellent idea, and it is now to be found definitely embodied in Protocol VI!

PREFACE

(Translated by Victor E. Marsden)

The author of this translation of the famous Protocols was himself a victim of the Revolution. He had lived for many years in Russia and was married to a Russian lady. Among his other activities in Russia he had been for a number of years a Russian Correspondent of the MORNING POST, a position which he occupied when the Revolution broke out, and his vivid descriptions of events in Russia will still be in the recollection of many of the readers of that Journal. Naturally he was singled out for the anger of the Soviet. On the day that Captain Cromie was murdered by Jews, Victor Marsden was arrested and thrown into the Peter-Paul Prison, expecting every day to have his name called out for execution. This, however, he escaped, and eventually he was allowed to return to England very much of a wreck in bodily health. However, he recovered under treatment and the devoted care of his wife and friends. One of the first things he undertook, as soon as he was able, was this translation of the Protocols. Mr. Marsden was eminently well qualified for the work. His intimate acquaintance with Russia, Russian life and the Russian language on the one hand, and his mastery of a terse literary English style on the other, placed him in a position of advantage which few others could claim. The consequence is that we have in his version an eminently readable work, and though the subject-matter is somewhat formless, Mr. Marsden's literary touch reveals the thread running through the twenty-four Protocols.

It may be said with truth that this work was carried out at the cost of Mr. Marsden's own life's blood. He told the writer of this Preface that he could not stand more than an hour at a time of his work on it in the British Museum, as the diabolical spirit of the matter which he was obliged to turn into English made him positively ill.

Mr. Marsden's connection with the MORNING POST was not severed by his return to England, and he was well enough to accept the post of special correspondent of that journal in the suite of H.R.H., the Prince of Wales on his Empire tour. From this he returned with the Prince, apparently in much better health, but within a few days of his landing he was taken suddenly ill, and died after a very brief illness.

May this work be his crowning monument! In it he has performed an immense service to the English-speaking world, and there can be little doubt that it will take its place in the first rank of the English versions of "THE PROTOCOLS of the Meetings of the LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION."

Saudi Arabia says it will not issue any new visas for Swedish business people in retaliation for comments made by Foreign Minister Margot Wallström.

Per Jönsson, a middle east expert at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, described the move as a "major escalation".

"We hope that visa operations will resume," said Erik Boman, a spokesperson for Sweden's Foreign Ministry.

"We are working as quickly as possible to resolve this bilateral issue between Sweden and Saudi Arabia and would like to have continued good relations," he told the TT news wire on Thursday.

Saudi Arabia's move followed growing concerns from within Sweden's business community that Sweden’s increasingly strained relationship with the oil rich nation would affect business in the Arab world.

On Wednesday the government announced that 50 companies have been invited to discuss the issue with ministers.

Sweden decided to limit military ties with Saudi Arabia earlier this month, days after accusing the country of blocking Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström from speaking at an Arab League meeting.

Her cancelled remarks, published by the Swedish foreign ministry, didnot mention Saudi Arabia but stressed women's and human rights.

However the Arab country reacted strongly to the Nordic nation’s shifting approach, recalling its ambassador to Sweden and accusing Sweden of "flagrant interference in internal affairs”.

Dozens of other Arab nations have since criticized Sweden's decision.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which represents 57 muslim nations released a statement saying Wallström had "degraded Saudi Arabia and its social norms, judicial system and political institutions".

"The world community, with its multiple cultures, diverse social norms, rich and varied ethical standards and different institutional structures, can not, and should not, be based on a single and centric perspective that seeks to remake the world in its own image," it continued.

Whistleblower Peter McKelvie, who first raised the alarm about high profile individuals engaged in child sex abuse, said senior politicians, military figures and even people linked to the royal family are among the alleged abusers.
McKelvie said that their campaign of abuse may have been going on for about 65 years, but “there has always been the cover-up and the collusion to prevent an investigation.”

An ancient Viking ring carrying the inscription "for Allah" has revealed evidence of close contacts between the Nordic warriors and the Islamic world – more than a century after its discovery on a Swedish island.

Sweden's relationship with the Arab world has been under strain in recent weeks, after the Scandinavian country got embroiled in a conflict with Saudi Arabia over human rights.

But an engraved ring excavated from a ninth-century grave in the Viking trading centre of Birka, Sweden, suggests that friendlier ties existed between modern Sweden's forefathers and the Islamic civilizations.

Made of silver alloy, the ring is adorned with coloured glass, an exotic material at the time, engraved with an ancient Arabic script spelling the words “for Allah” or “to Allah”, a team of researchers led by biophysicist Sebastian Wärmländer of Stockholm University reported in scientific journal Scanning.

The team wrote: “The ring may... constitute material evidence for direct interactions between Viking Age Scandinavia and the Islamic world.”

“Being the only ring with an Arabic inscription found at a Scandinavian archaeological site, it is a unique object among Swedish Viking Age material.”

The ring was found in a grave near Birka on Björkö Island in the Stockholm archipelago in the late 1800s. Other objects found in the grave indicated a woman had been buried there at around 850 AD, although the skeleton was completely decomposed.

The stone on the ring had previously been thought to be an amethyst. But on closer inspection Wärmländer and his colleagues revealed it was decorated with coloured glass – an expensive material at the time – and noted it was in perfect condition, indicating it had not had many owners and had not ended up in Birka by accident.

“Instead, it must have passed from the Islamic silversmith who made it to the woman buried at Birka with few, if any, owners in between,” Wärmländer told Discovery News.

“Perhaps the woman herself was from the Islamic world, or perhaps a Swedish Viking got the ring, by trade or robbery, while visiting the Islamic Caliphate,” he added.

“The mint condition of the ring corroborates ancient tales about direct contacts between Viking Age Scandinavia and the Islamic world.”

The Nigerian jihadist group has so far only strayed into neighbouring countries, but a senior minister in Goodluck Jonathan’s government is warning the West that it faces a new terror threat

Boko Haram is likely to plot attacks on the West, including Britain, according to a Nigerian government minister who warned that the Islamist group terrorising his country may compete with its global jihadi counterparts to commit atrocities abroad.

Osita Chidoka, a close associate of President Goodluck Jonathan, accused the international community of failing to give Nigeria the support it needed to combat the extremists, who are increasingly emulating Isis and al-Shabaab in their terror tactics.

Instead, he said in an interview with The Independent, “unfair” concerns were being expressed by the West about the Nigerian government as it attempts to tackle Boko Haram’s vicious campaign of bombing, shooting and abduction. That campaign includes beheadings – captured for the first time recently on slickly produced video, which showed how the group was embracing “Isis methods”.

“There are conditions, constraints being laid by the international community over this mission which are unfair on Nigeria,” he said. “If we do not tackle Boko Haram then the whole region is in danger. It will not stop there: the danger is that Boko Haram will become an attraction to Western fighters and they will copy other extremist groups.

“The danger is that Boko Haram … will try to copy groups like Isis and al-Shabaab. It can target the West like these groups do, target Europe, Britain – it would want to be like these other groups.

“The danger is that they can go beyond the region and become international. That is why Nigeria must be supported in what we are trying to do. We need full commitment from the international community.”

Mr Chikoda’s warning comes as Nigeria gears up for an election later this month in which Mr Jonathan faces a strong challenge from Muhammadu Buhari, a former military ruler of the country, who is presenting himself as the leader needed to tackle the insurgency. The polls were postponed from January in order, it was claimed, for the government to take action against Boko Haram.

Mr Chidoka insisted that a victory for Gen Buhari would turn the clock back and lead to an erosion of democracy. “The day of the ‘Big Man’ in Africa is over,” he said. “We have our own plans to defeat these people and not go back to a military strongman. Good will be restored over evil.”

He was adamant that an augmented African Union force in north-eastern Nigeria, renewed operations by his country’s own military, and civic measures brought in by the government would lead to Boko Haram being controlled. He maintained that warnings by the West about human rights violations were unwarranted.

The minister is a leading proponent of plans for a nationwide biometric database for Nigeria as a counter-terrorism measure for home and abroad, with the wider region in turmoil. Since Abubakar Shekau, Boko Haram’s leader, mimicked Isis by announcing his own caliphate six months ago – declaring that the new fiefdom no longer “has anything to do with Nigeria” – the group has launched incursions into neighbouring Cameroon, Chad and Niger. But international attention has meanwhile focused mostly on operations against Isis in Syria and Iraq.

Public figures in Nigeria have complained about seeming Western indifference to the brutalities perpetrated by jihadists in their country. After yet another massacre, in the north-western town of Baga, Ignatius Kaigama, the Archbishop of Jos, contrasted the low-key response with international outcry over the Charlie Hebdo killings in Paris.

Mr Chidoka pointed out that, unlike Isis in Syria and Iraq and al-Shabaab in Somalia, most of Boko Haram’s foreign fighters were, at present, from neighbouring countries.

But there are fears that some Muslims among the large Nigerian diaspora in Western Europe and North America are at risk of being indoctrinated. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the “underpants bomber” who attempted to blow up a plane with an explosive device hidden in his underwear, was raised in Funtua in northern Nigeria.

“The problem with young Muslims in the West, in the UK, it seems to me, is that for some there is an affliction, a lack of spiritual values, especially among the middle classes,” Mr Chidoka said. “They have everything and everything becomes just about you. These young people are searching for a greater reason for being. We cannot afford not to have this debate.”

The minister was scathing about the London-based lobbying organisation Cage, with links to radical Islam, which has posted material on its website claiming that the talk of a threat from Boko Haram – whose name translates as “Western Education is a Sin” – is imperialist propaganda. The widespread social media campaign in response to the kidnap of 275 schoolgirls, “Bring Back Our Girls”, was described by Cage as a “colonial trope” aimed at “demonising Islam”.

One article about the response to the missing girls declared: “Packaging strategic incentives with feminist motives and painting benevolent Westerners as the saviours of childlike natives is an old tactic.”

Cage has been involved in controversy since its research director, Asim Qureshi, in February described Mohammed Emwazi – the Isis murderer previously known as “Jihadi John” – as a “ beautiful, extremely kind young man” and blamed MI5 pressure for radicalising him.

Mr Chidoka said Cage’s statements about Boko Haram “are not just wrong and irresponsible, they are malicious”, and added: “Young people may read this and get a false narrative. It is not true that Boko Haram is fighting to defend Muslims – the vast majority of Muslims in Nigeria are totally against them, and many of their victims are Muslims.”

The African Union has blamed Norway for the civil war which broke out in South Sudan at the end of 2013, arguing that the country had inadvertently created "a politically unchallenged armed power" when it brokered the 2005 peace deal with Sudan.

The accusation, made in an as yet unpublished African Union inquiry leaked to the Reuters newswire, calls for the oil-rich nation to be placed under the direct control of the AU in an effort to end the war.

According the report Norway, the US and the UK, the three countries who pushed for the deal had "ushered in an unaccountable political class" in the country, leading to the conditions which spilt the country's leadership apart eight years later.


The civil war in South Sudan, the world’s youngest nation, started in December 2013 when the governing party SPLM split into two factions headed respectively by President Salva Kiir and former Vice-President Riek Machar.

At least 10,000 people have been killed and 1.5 million people displaced. The UN accuses both sides of grave human rights violations, including widespread rape, executions, and ethnic-based massacres.



According to the AU report, Norway facilitated Kiir and Machar’s ascent to power when they helped broker the peace deal between SPLM/A rebels and the Sudanese government in 2005.

The settlement brought long-time guerrilla fighters to formal recognition, paving the way for them forming government when South Sudan became independent in in January 2011

The African Union has shelved the report on the request of Salva Kiir and Reik Machar. There are fears that its release could disrupt on-going peace negotiations in the Ethiopian capital Addis-Abeba. Despite a truce signed by Kiir and Machar, fighting has continued while peace talks carry on.
