Nnamdi Kanu's IPOB are behind these attacks on policemen and police stations. Call a spade a spade and stop telling us gunmen. |
Who else noticed that the Yorubas were mostly living in peace with the Hausa community until Amotekun was created? Amotekun is a political creation. It's not going to solve any problem but worsen situations. |
Have you visited all the churches in Nigeria? If no, your rating is biased and inconclusive. |
Well, let me assume this is fake news. The statement can't possibly come from the chief security officer of Taraba state. Either he was quoted out of context or he never said such a thing. Even a mad man can't think of such as a solution to our security challenges. |
Unfortunately, those fanning the embers of war and asking people to go and kill are not even in the country. In the North are many Igbos living there and doing their businesses. There could be a reprisal attack and the innocent people will be the ones to die while Nnamdi Kanu and his family will have nothing to lose. The herdsmen are also Nigerians and have the rights to live anywhere in the country. Yes, there are bad ones amongst them but driving, killing them and their cows is not good for all of us. Let's be guided and also know that these whole thing is also being politicized. Do not set the country ablaze. The civil war started like this just like a joke. When it happens, only the innocent and poor masses will suffer while those behind the politics will abscond. |
The day Amotekun was created in the South West marked the begining of the politicization of security in the region. |
Every tribe has criminals and good people alike. Most times, the criminalization of the Fulani herdsmen is politically motivated. People now commit crimes and the next thing you hear is Fulani herdsmen. |
Reject quarantine? Something they dare not try in Saudi Arabia. Now, they're acting stubborn because they're now in Nigeria. That's how we collectively spoil the country, then blame the government and start looking for another country to run to only to get bundled back afterwards. |
Every crime now is attributed to the Fulani herdsmen. This is a boom time for criminals. |
gidgiddy:You are doing well just to try and prove a point that Luck Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor is not an Igbo man but an Edo man. Well, let me just tell you that if a man's name is what really determines where he comes from, then most people who claim Igbo, are not Igbos. Do you know that Edo people also bear Obaze which is a popular name in Anambra state? Oseloka is also a name among the Benin people but is also a name among the Anambra people. Udofia is an Akwa-Ibom name but most Igbos especially from Abia state bear same name. Idoko is a name amongst the Idoma people of Benue state but is also popular amongst the Nsukka people of Enugu state. Ada is a name amongst the Igbos but is also a very popular name among the Idoma people of Benue state. I can go on and on to give you examples. If I should ask you to tell me the meaning of Obaze in Igbo, you can't same way you don't know the meaning of the Benin version. Therefore, saying that Leo Irabor from Agbor is an Edo man because he bears the name Irabor is same as saying Oseloka Obaze from Anambra is also an Edo man going by the name he bears. My point therefore is that these names may sound alike or have same spelling but meanings could differ depending on dialects. |
gidgiddy:You just fooled yourself with this lengthy bullshit. Do your research well before jumping into blind conclusion. To start with, Leo Irabor's full names is Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor. He was born in Aliokpu, Agbor, Ika LGA, Delta State. Your argument holds no water because as Igbo, if my father has a good friend from Akwa-Ibom for instance and decides to name me after that person from Akwa-Ibom as a way of respecting their friendship, does that therefore mean I'm no longer Igbo because I've grown with that name and my children and grandchildren children now bear it as surname? We have many names like that across Igboland. That's even assuming Irabor is a Benin name as you claim. Irabor as a name might also be ancenstral to Benin people with same spelling and pronunciation but it doesn't mean the same thing. The people of Delta North like Agbor, Asaba, Umunede, Igbodo, Obiaruku, Ukwuani, Illah, Onicha Olona, Ibusa etc have a special way of speaking Igbo and bearing Igbo names in a mutilated form. For Instance, they pronunce Onyema as Onyeme, Onyeabuo as Onyeabo, Chinedu as Chiedu etc. So, Irabor in Agbor can't be the same thing with the one the Benin bear, the spelling and pronunciation notwithstanding. Irabor in Agbor, going by the way they speak their Igbo, could be a way of saying Iruabuo(Irabo) or Ibo obo/Ira obo(vengeance). So, Irabo or Irabor as the case may be in the Igbo speaking people of Agbor can't be the same Irabor amongst the Edo or Benin. Let's even assume it's same thing, names can be borrowed and interchanged. That doesn't make you less of the person you really are, regarding your root. |
gidgiddy:So, the name you bear is now what determines whether you are Biafran or not? In case you don't know, his full names is Leo Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor. |

Don't say I didn't tell you. |
Confused lots! Same Igbos who always claim that Asaba, Agbor, Oyingbo etc are Igbos when it comes to claiming Biafran lands, will disown these people as Igbos when Buhari appoints them. So Mr Irabor from Agbor in Delta State is not Igbo now but will become Igbo when Nnamdi Kanu wants to claim Biafra lands. |
Confused mofo! |
Whenever I see PMB, it makes me pity the lives of those miserable IPOB youths who believe the lies Nnamdi Kanu dish out to them. |
Useless wife beater FFK, a butterfly that thinks itself a bird. I always say that Nnamdi Kanu is anti Igbo. He uses the blood of Igbo youths to appease his idols. Many young Igbo youths have lost their lives prematurely due to Kanu's recklessness. He stays in the comfort of his room in London, gives order and the foolish youths will take to the streets to kill themselves. Tufiakwa! |
You see this Amotekun, it doesn't have a good future. It will become a willing tool in the hands of many mischievous people. It has already started. |
Yet, the gullible youths will focus and see Buhari as their problems, leaving their governors and local government chairmen who receive complete monthly allocations from FG every month but loot them all with no one to question them. |
Dumb Nigerian youths with dumb reasonings. In fact, you all are the real problem of this country. And to think you are all graduates, reasoning like village touts, is pathetic. Imagine thinking that the only reason the pigeons refused to fly is because of APC and Buhari "sins". The white man will give you reasons and empirical evidence why the pigeons refused to fly out when released but Africans will attribute it to bad omen. Pigeons are human friendly birds. If you've been to developed world, you'll find out that Pigeons live in the streets and mingle with humans and so are not threatened by human presence. When Pigeons stay in a confined place for a long time, they get acquainted with the environment and so when released, they feel reluctant to fly. However, not all pigeons develop that mood, hence they find freedom immediately they are released. |
More than 80% of Nigerians want to leave the country to America, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany etc. Ask them why them why, they'll tell you that the country is messed up. Now, ask them who messed the country up, they'll say it's the government. Okay now, did the government ask this guy to do the wrong thing? Conclusion: We all are responsible for everything wrong with this country. We are collectively destroying the country. |
The government should just adopt a no-work-no-pay policy for this lazy university lecturers. These men don't even care what happens to the students considering the fact that whether they work or not, their salaries keep coming. |
Africans nay Nigerians would have said Ozil's problem comes from his village people same way they think that the pigeons refusal to fly is as a result of Buhari's many sins. Dumb Africans! |
NextD18:Are you sure you are mentally okay or you are one of those who take advantage of the social media to spew thrash. This your useless comment is the reason some Igbos do not support Biafra because same marginalization and division you accuse the North of, will still happen among the Igbos when it eventually comes. Do you know how Ebonyi State was created? Your comment implies that Abia and Enugu are also northern Igbos because Ebonyi State was created from those two states. Anyways, let me assume you don't know what you are saying because if you do, you should have known for instance that the first ever Governor of the old Eastern Region (1960-1966) came from the present day Ebonyi State. So, there's no way you will write the history of the Igbos without mentioning Ebonyi State first. |
In this country, a certain former president took loans to pay salaries & today, you see him as a "hero". Here you see a president taking loans to build massive rail line infrastructures across the country & you think he's mortgaging the country to China. Many of you have criticized the cost of rail transportation but then forget that the loan taken to build those infrastructures must be repaid through same means. |
PopSmoke:Oga, kudos oo for winning the Guinness book of records as the only Nigerian that visited all the NIN registration centers across the country, looking for politicians that came to register. |
If you believe fans (and not sugar Daddy) bought her a car, then you can believe every lie on social media |
mtcheww, which fans? Clout chasers everywhere. If your sugar Daddy buys you car, tell us straight and stop hiding behind imaginary fans to deceive people with your fake life. |
For those who know and have been following pastor Kumuiyi, he's not the kind of pastor that talks carelessly like most Nigerian pastors do. If you expect him to make a public statement on the issue, sorry, you will be disappointed but one sure thing he must have done is address the issue by penalizing the culprits to forestall a repetition of the ugly incident. The pastor is a man who guards his reputation jealously and over the years, people have tried to find a way to rubbish his character and that's why he barely engages in matters of public discourse, be it politics, economy or religion. What happened in the Deeper life school is unfortunate but attacking the person of Kumuiyi like he did it himself or instructed the management to do it, is rather unfortunate. We know that even in the church of God, there are bad people but that's not a reason to call the pastor bad names for the evil perpetrated by members of the church or staff of his school. |
thebosstrevor1:Arrest him for what exactly? For stealing or for what exactly? |
YorubaKinging:You have no brain in your gaddam skull. Why not ask why cars and other latest inventions(which you use)are not manufactured in Nigeria or Africa too? Africans are leeches and consumers, they make no effort in making discoveries, researches or inventions. They just sit down, consume what the Western world produce. Their only contribution is attaching religious sentiments to everything while other parts of the world keep moving forward. Now, the reason Jupiter and Saturn were not sighted in Nigeria or Africa is not because they didn't appear but because nobody made any effort to see them. As you saw, those who saw them, did so with the aid of a telescope and they captured them and sent to you to watch only for you to throw your negativity to it and attach your religious comment. Be civilised. |
LabuleofNigeria:You shouldn't be replying that nitwit. Stop teaching him what he doesn't know because he will not learn. Let him remain in his "fool's paradise". |
