Emmy35: God is wonderful!!!!!! Should i change my institution cos i'm not ready 2 change my course?. I scored 259 in Jamb. Waec: Eng B3, Maths C6, Eco B3, Govt B3 and Li-in-eng C6. My course is communication and language arts. Please advice

Page 189 like play like play LOOOOOL... No probs ur result coming out 2day so chill and start getting prepared for ur admission into the First and the Best university in Nigeria. Just passing by. The road to ur admission just started. After this is ur post jamb and finally admission list. UI's nature of post jamb is 100questions. 25 each from the subject u registered for in JAMB. So easy and straight to pass if u're really serious. Out of 41,000 that applied to UI last year, 7,000 was screened to write the exams and only 2,700+ passed above 50/100 and they were all admitted. The failure rate was HIGH last year so 50 and above got admitted (depending on ur course) no cause for alarm just relax and do ur homework. Surely u gonna get admitted. Enjoy ur self peeps and mind u this room would get more intresting after post jamb lool... Have fun

Guys no cause for alarm... The mini register is just for them to know u've submitted that's all like a record or something. If u didn't no probs! A friend of mine didn't do it last year and got his admission just a minor protocol that varies from Jamb office to Jamb office. Yeah to all UI applicants, if the course u wanna study is not here then don't pick UI. List of accredited courses offered in UI goes thus

...and it's getting tensed *Peeping*... I sight u all siping Lacasera somewhere peeping looool... It's all good guys! The transcript ish is very crucial. I gained admission into the first and the best Uni in 9ja - University of Ibadan via DE and transcript was the number 1 thing requested for before anything. Even if ur school won't request for it as stated by the other guy (which is not 100% true) it cost u nothing to send it which makes u on a safer side. Yeah some schools give room to use courier to send it. Sent mine to UI in less than 5 working days for just 1,500 and it's safe and secured. That aside, if ur school give transcript at hand, u can just walk to the uni u are applying to and submit to the admission office. Also for those applying to 2 different schools, it should be sent to the schools. Hope I didn't offend anybody with my post? Have fun peeps!

Here comes the final lap of the registration. Haven done the online registration stuff, print out ur slip and make some photocopies for future reference. Attach the following documents to it and submit to the nearest jamb office around you
Statement/certificate of result (not applicable to awaiting)
O'levels
Admission Letter to ur former institution (optional)
Staple all these together and on getting to JAMB office, locate the university u wanna to file and insert the stapled documents inside say UNILAG for example, look for UNILAG DE big brown envelope and insert it. Make sure u put down ur name like a mini register in JAMB office. That's all part 2 gone
After doing all these, go to the polytechnic/college of education u finished from and request for ur transcript to be send to the university u are applying to
Note: it should be addressed to the registrar of the institution e.g

The Registrar,
University of Abuja,
Abuja.

Once ur school send the transcript that's all... No admission without your transcript being sent to the university u are applying to! Bless

DE form is finally out... Now u guys can go start your processes and everything. Let me explain everything one by one as it goes *clears throat*
Yeah after purchasing the scratch card, walk into any cyber cafe and start registering online. Make sure that the cyber cafe has the jamb 'Access code' so as to curb manipulation in registering, Jamb recently came up with this idea of Access code given to cyber cafe's so most cafe's around have it. Login and start. There's no finger print in DE registration it is just your passport and that's all
Fill the forms normal and pick the university u wanna apply to as first or second choice. U can use awaiting result if u don't have ur result yet and most importantly while registering under A'levels requirement pick HND/OND or NCE or IJMB or A'level or anything depending on what u are using. Under examination number put in ur school matric number there. For example if u attended Laspotech and ur matric number say is EEE/09/1759 type it there as ur examination number depending on different school with different matric number system. Then examination date fill in the date u have on ND/NCE/IJMB certificate or statement of result. If u are using awaiting result u don't have probs here since ur result is not ready yet. Hmmmmmmmm! What else? *sips water* that's all submit the form online and print ur jamb registration slip. This is just part one of the exercise it's very easy and simple. Will drop the rest latest by tomorrow. Yup a student... The thing is u can't swap Engineering for College of Medicine (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and co) so it's not gonna work! Elect/elect and other engineering courses ur best option

For as many that wanna choose UI. UI admission is not automatic. Out of 41,396 Jambites who applied last year, UI admitted 2,652 that's about 5% of the total applicants. UI admits the best brains allover for u guys to come together and slug it out. I'm not saying this to discourage u guys just that u can have a clue of the brains u gonna meet when u resume. Moreso it's very simple loool... I beg no get HIGH BP ooooo looool. Apply and ur admission is secured once u have a minimum of Upper credit. Success y'all

For those who are planning to choose UI... The school academic calendar stated that u guys are resuming November 11 this year all things being equal. So after obtaining the form and doing all the process the admission might be fast cos JAMBITES admission would be done first before u guys! With Jamb writing their exam on April 27th, UI post jamb follows and admission list get pasted before DE candidates are attended to. UI DON'T conduct exams for DE student only fresh 100L Jambites get tested with exams. All things being equal u are resuming on Nov 11 2013. Coming with other schools soon. Success y'all

Information from reliable source shows that JAMB will soon commence the sales of 2013 JAMB direct entry form. To ensure success, we are encouraging early application. Thus, application are invited from candidates with OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level (or any equivalent), HND, BSc, ICAN (or other professional result) into 200 level in Nigeria Universities. If you have one of the above certificates or awaiting result in any of them, you are eligible to apply for direct entry in any Nigeria Universities. Some Universities also accept own Diploma and Diploma from recognize institutions in Nigeria.
