Hello good people. My application has been pending here for some weeks now. I recently did change of name and everything is now correct. Name, Gender, and DOB tallies between NIN and International Passport. However, Marital status, place of birth, and maiden name still different. Could this be the reason why I'm still stuck here?

I am confused how to proceed

Thanks

Hi everyone. I recently started my TB journey but I'm a bit confused on a couple of things and have the following questions:

1. I applied via Stanbic IBTC but I didn't receive any update last week. The money is still in my account so I want to believe the bid didn't go through. Might this be general or just me?
2. Can I bid on the Primary Market via Stanbic IBTC below 50m?
3. Do I have to fill a new form targeting the next bid or the last 'unsuccessful' one is still valid

Many thanks for your kind assistance

None yet, still waiting. Summer vacation might just be the reason for the slow response. Delay till June ending/early August for appointment in September when everybody is back to the Consulate - My hypothesis

Fingers crossed!

Any info yet from the embassy?? Seems we are almost same date.

Heyo!

Giving back. Here is our timeline.

I have the EU Blue Card and reside in Berlin.

Booked for re-union visa appointment 23/03/2022

Wife got an email from the embassy on 24/04/2023 for appointment on 16/05/2023 (verification fee was not asked, although she was with it, she did not bother to ask since we were even praying for that long process to be skipped….lol)

Received a letter from ABH on 15/06/2023, dated 9/06/2023 asking to submit documents (verification was indeed skipped)

I submitted the documents on 03/07/2023. I got a response from ABH on 10/07/2023 that my wife's visa has been approved and it is now on Lagos to issue the visa.

12/07/2023, she got an email to submit her passport, travel health insurance and travel date. We submitted all same day and she got her passport with visa stamped on 19/07/2023.

I hope it helps and gives someone hope.

Hello there good afternoon. I think for now, they’ve emailed people who booked during the first week of June. That’s from like 1st till around 7th. I spoke with a lady last night that said she booked on the 10th of June, hasn’t received anything yet. I personally booked 15th, I’ve received nothing yet too.

Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed for next week hopefully. I am optimistic you'd be contacted this week

Hi guys... I don't know if anyone has done Skilled Immigration Act interview lately. I'm in my third week post-interview as defined in their SLA and still no response yet. Is there a possibility of exceeding 3weeks? Thanks

Good day all,

A question has been bothering my mind. My fiancé and I intend to get married in December, 2022. If I wait till then, the 1 year waiting period leads us to December, 2023.

However, can I book an appointment now so the 1 year start to read? By March next year, we would only have 3 months left.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Hello everyone,

Please I need your advise. I accepted an offer to resume by April, 2022 in Germany. However, there's no appointment date till after one year. I'm super confused right now. Don't want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Has anyone experienced this? How did you resolve it?

Thank you

Good day house,

To those who did Covid-19 test before boarding, Is there a way to know if the testing centre is accredited and the result would be accepted by the airline?

If you're in Lagos, go to VFS office. There's a clinic there where you can take the test. Two people I know used it, and they are in Canada now

Hello house,

I have a peculiar challenge, and I need all the help I can get. So my sister did her medicals last year October and we didn't get any response from VFS/IRCC. We sent an email to Abuja office early this year that school is resuming the following week, and they told us to send her passport directly to Immigration Office, Abuja via courier service

We got a notification that her passport was ready for collection with the stamped Visa on Monday - January 25th and picking up has been a challenge.

We paid for a two-way courier service when the passport was sent but the Immigration Office is not releasing her passport to DHL.

What can I do please?

Thanks guys

Dampops:
If you have your biometric slip, you don’t have to pay (that is if you had your biometric at same location). Otherwise, you have to pay and include the evidence in the package

Thank you very much. Appreciate!

Baba i disagree with u. I know of a platform that trades crypto currency, forex & oil & gas. U make 50% of ur capital everyday this is not ponzi. The company has been paying since 2016 till date. Too good to be true @ 1st not until my friend tried it out & showed me evidence of his payments. I will soon try it out too.

Could you kindly recommend? Thanks
