Hello everyone,

I'm a bit late to the party. I started reading the thread from page 1 (amazing information I must say) and it's really helpful. Good job guys!

I just computed my CRS and I got 498. I guess that's a very good score above the 440 par. My only concern is the N3.5 million. I can afford every other payment but this BIG amount is scary. Please who knows how I can scale through this hurdle?

Thank you

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Much Exactly Is A Graduate Starting Salary? by Akby(m): 1:09pm On Dec 18, 2019
Here is my standard for a fresh graduate:

9 hours standard working hour
4 hours to prepare, and battle traffic to and fro per day
$1/hour charging rate = N365
22 working days in a month
Hence:

(9+4)*365*22 = N104,390

The next time you go for an interview, do this breakdown in their presence, and you'd be marveled by the HRs comment.

No fresh graduate should earn below N105k/month in any standard company

Local man is yet to be paid. Hmmmm!

Who knows if APL is transferable? I got this mad offer last month, and I'm thinking of letting NNPC slide if it comes eventually

Local man came in peace biko and not to show off. I was thinking if the HR folks at NNPC can swap names.

Thanks

Now to put an end to the saga of the relationship between Tfare and APL:

PS: You’re free to not believe me. I know I’m way too matured to spread fake news or just to generate clout for no reason. I’ll attach proof to this.

1. I had my interview on the 2nd and received alert last week.
2. I kept reading about the theories here and truly it got me thinking that they might be some truth to it.
3. I decided to investigate through the networks available to me.
4. I discovered that Terhemba king anyam (popularly known as King) works with a bros of mine at nnpc (I know about 4 close people working in the towers).
5. I decided to contact my bros to help clarify what I’ve been reading on Nairaland today. He promised to get back to me.
6. At midday I got impatient and decided to put a call through but his number was busy. Tried later after an hour and it was busy and he didn’t return the call.
7. He texted and said he’ll get back to me. That he wants to call the TA to the GMD to clarify.
8. Not to long ago, he called and told me that he wasn’t able to get through to the TA because of how busy they are and he’ll most likely get to him at night, but, he called King and king said that THERE’S NO TRUTH to the rumour. That they are working on paying everyone. That they are working based on lists and the work is still on going.
King of all "sauces" grin

While everyone is waiting for APL and TF, is it possible for someone to defer his appointment? Like I just got this mad offer for 3 months, and I'm wishing NNPC should still chill by the side

If resumption is by September, can one defer for like a month before resuming?

I do not intend to intimidate biko, na only question I dey ask I beg smiley

Did you apply for another position they advertised while waiting for them?

Kindly reply.

Just be patient bro. You'll be called at their proper time

Did you later got called up and have you resumed? Was any reason given for the delayed in making an offer?

This information will help me. I had a successful assessment/interview but yet to be made an offered to and I am growing weary. Kindly help with vital information
Yes I was later called up and my resumption is July 29th but I've taken up another offer already. It took up to two months before I was contacted. Just exercise patience. Once you were successful at the interview, no problem just exercise patience. The offer would be sent to you after their call. They already have a figure prepared for you already which you can't negotiate again.

You'll be fine
