Inezara: Pls help me.Am getting very scared now.I was given Obafemi Awolowo hall and I applied for hostel accommodation on Saturday.Then I went to pay the accomodation levy at Stanbic IBTC bank Akowonjo.They gave me my pin a day after and went back to the internet,put in the pin and posted now.Then it was successful and the status read completed.Now I went to check my U.I personalized emal hoping to see something encouraging but I saw dat my hostel application is being processed and dat I shud check after 48 hours.But since on Saturday its more dan 48 hours.And it hasn't bin approved its still being processed.Pls tell me.Am I in trouble?Did I do anything wrong or bad.Plks help me.Urgent answers pls.

Something just struck my mind and feel like waking up the idea... It's the Nairaland get together idea we discussed then. A customized vest with our Nairaland usernames at the back is my idea. A touch of green and white things to rep Nairaland and also proudly 9ja idea would be a good idea. Are u sure u matric no is correct. Mind u after typing the matric no don't press enter on the keyboard. Use the the mouse to click the Login button. Happened to me as well

1)REFREES:Pls be careful cuz u wil checked thoroughly b4 u graduate nd if u are guilty of giving false info that's gross misconduct-punish ment is 2 semesters

False info for email address? For example let's say one of my referee is 65yrs old how on earth will UI ask for him to provide an email address even when computer is a missing necesity not to talk of the internet. The best is open 3 new email accounts and fill it there. So UI will now call the 65yrs old man that sir ur email is not working looool. Phone numbers does it all.

How on earth will referee email address be ur probs in this global world. It cost u nothing to open 3 new emails if u don't have any for ur referee. Open it and keep tabs with what UI is sending to them which is You. How about I drop the original email and it's dormant. UI mails won't deliver and it's neither your fault nor UI's. The most important thing in that column is the '@' symbol. Php codes are being built to recognise a particular symbol in a textfield when it comes to email address. U can put akby123zezeny@gmail.com no wahala so far the @ symbol is present u are good to go. What really matter most is phone numbers. Emails is just an alternative for mobile numbers. Put the person's original phone number and all ur mysteries is solved.

Lilly I sight u boss... Same noni! Yeah I just did my hostel application and printed out. For those complaining of not submitting change ur browser to Internet Explorer, fill ur form and submit. It only works with Internet Explorer. Mozilla, Opera etc won't work!

For the email ish... The password is 'password' without quotes and later u can change it.
N.B It's Gmail powered so the minimum letter u can use for the new password must be 8 digits minimum. Like Arsenal won't work cos it's 7
