Wether any heavyweight polician contested in the last election or not does not discredit the unconstitutional arrangement of zoning. What I want you to recon with is the fact that power is never given it is taken and if you want to have your way u must play the mathematics of politics which is numbers of the majority. Like I said earlier, I will support any Southwest candidate but going with ur zoning idealogy, isn't it the turn of the southeast to produce a president? myobjective: |
The question is, is zoning constitutional? If yes why did other tribes contested last election? I will definitely not support any candidate from the north by 2023 but I can't discourage them from contesting cos it's their constitutional right. Power is not given it must be taken! Don't just sit at your comfort zone and expect other tribes to just support you for the same ambition they are also interested in. It doesn't work that way bro! quote author=myobjective post=82705318] Zoning is an integral part of a multi-ethnic country operation a central system of government. We will only do without zoning if we can do away with federal character, revenue sharing and when we have true resources control. The north wants to eat their cake and have it, they hardly contribute anything to the revenue they partake in sharing yet no one is complaining, they get top jobs in the civil service commission due to federal character, no one raised an eyebrow but when they perceive that they have some advantage due to massive illiterate population that they can easily farm vote from they are now shouting no zoning
|
Nigerians don't need revolution. All what I feel is required for a possible change is for youth convention with a realizable goals which will be free from religion, ethnic affiliations. |
Revolution is usually carried out with the people not for the people. in my own considered opinion, I feel Sowore didn't consult widely to know if at all Nigerians are ready for revolution or not. Historical records of revolution has shown that supporters don't goes into silent even if the converner is arrested unlike what is going on now. |
Zoning is unconstitutional. Let whoever that want to contest come out and test his/her popularity. In the past election I have seen different tribes contesting despite the zoning adoption by APC and PDP. If the youth truly controls the block votes, let's organize a convention and decided who to put in power. I am ever ready to serve in any capacity for the struggle of youth emancipation. |
Well said @Reno. The part that interest me most about the whole write up is the part which he illustrate with conversation of two currency that lead to lost of value. Truly, we hardly study in this part of the world and as a result, many of us live with lies we were told by those we believed to have knowledge of what we failed to study. I was amazed the day I read about "ESU" which is referred to as Devil in Yoruba Bible translation. Do you know Samuel Ajayi Crowther ignorantly referred to "ESU" as Devil when translating the Yoruba version of the Bible? (You can Google it to know the truth). |
When I tell people that the Bible was written by some men with self thought they will call me names, but gradually people are realizing daily that some of those things captured in that book is just a mere self thought and not from Creator. Animals are living creature with right-to-life just like human being too but those self acclaimed inspirational men of God claimed God said we have Dominion over them and they are there for us to feed on... Take the kid of a doe and see the reaction of the mother that is when u know that they have feelings too just like human. |
His insurance will take care of that. |
Generation upon generation will keep living in that illusion that one landlord is coming. Bro nobody de come oooo. Just live life and die. quote author=HallaDaTruth post=82672574] Satan has only a short time. The real landlord is coming. The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof
|
I am sure they they know the significant power of Satan and they decided to idolize him while our people here keep binding and casting him believing they can defeat Satan who according to record, faught against Almighty God before being thrown down to earth and became a ruler which simply means he has Dominion over every creature on Earth. So many misconception about the devil. I read some times ago that the "ESU" which is now being referred to as Devil was actually not the devil as widely believed. Google it and you will know more about how Samuel Ajayi Crowther translated the Bible and regard #Esu as devil. |
When the verdict was delivered in the case of zamfara, nobody accuse Buhari of controlling the judiciary rather the same people who couldn't get judgement in their favour as result of collation of results from likes and share they got from Nairaland and other social media have suddenly started accusing Buhari of controlling the judiciary. |
There is more to it that meet the eyes. I suspect some strong politicians are behind this blackmail just to make Osibanjo take uncommon decision by resigning. This whole accusations is puzzling. |
World best! Patoranking is one of the artist with good lyrical content alongside the Legendary 2Baba in my own considered opinion. Most times after listening to some trending songs from other artist who are also good at what they do, I always struggle to pick out anything meaningful from the lyrics. Artist are known for quotes from their lyrics but what I see now is a complete uncomprehensible contents. |
Revenge is never an option in democracy. But did you condemn PDP act back then? PDP are the reason why I dislike politics in this country after suffering brutal intimidation during 2003,2007 and 2011 election and I said to myself, if this is how politics will continue to play in this country then I will from henceforth withraw from active politics and till now, the barbaric practice has not change. quote author=kings59 post=82611748]Who are all those saying PDP used same to APC in so so so and so year? So polítics is now about revenge, not about democracy. Nigeria is sinking day by day. Shame on those supporting revenge. The future must be better.
|
Hope she didn't went there to seduce our presido? |
If truly God is a merciful, and the wages of sin is death as we were told then I think that statement was actually formulated by men since they couldn't understand the reason why every living being dies. Rip Mad Melon! |
Indeed PDP don't know how to play opposition politics and they have been struggling ever since they were voted out of power. I won't be surprise if they are actually behind those posters. |
We are very sectional in our reaction to national issues in this country. |
They have chew what they can't swallow.quote author=seunmsg post=82558185]This is a very commendable step and a applaud the Vice President. Truly, a clear conscience fears no accusation. About time some people are made to realize that opposition is not madness. When you falsely accuse others simply because of politics, there must be consequences. The ball is now in Timi Franks court. He must provide evidence in court showing how Osinbajo collected N90billion from FIRS, if not, he must face the music.
|
Buhari is not popular in the southeast does not mean he's not popular among the majority in the other region. The likes and share on Nairaland and other platform make you think Atiku won the election I guess. quote author=PapaBaby post=82557501] Only a troll would believe Buhari won the 2003 2007 and 2011 elections for which he went to court. Buhari was not and still not popular in the south. To think (when he went to court) Buhari defeated Obasanjo, Jonathan and Yar'adua is the height of political naivety. So Buhari was able to garner 25% in 2/3 of the Federation with his CPC? Wow! Bros stay in the joke section of Nairaland, stop embarrassing yourself.
|
I won't be surprise if Dino is lose the case at supreme Court. APC to me are not really using the arsenal PDP used against them while in opposition. I stop active politics as a result of PDP intimidation during 2003,2007 and 2011 election in Edo state. It was like a war against opposition. |
I want you to think deep and reflect on your comment. If you were Buhari who contested for 3times going to court to challenge the election which everyone knows was widely rigged by PDP and you now eventually won, will you fold your arms and watch the mandate being taken from you through a Legal means that the same set of people couldn't allow you to get? Please be very sincerem quote author=PapaBaby post=82541537]Buhari with hindsight knew this day would come, hence the retirement of Onoghen. Sharia court Judge Tanko was specifically picked to replace Onoghen for this very purpose. I'm afraid Atiku won't get justice from the courts but heaven is watching.
|
If he Dare it that will be the end of his political career and I am sure that is exactly what his enemies want him to do. |
Yet he keep writing letters forgetting what he did back then when he was in power.quote author=TOPCRUISE post=82549797]The man obasanjo and co ordered to be teargassed for campaigning against him in Kano
|
Sanusi still very much needed in the corporate world. |
I expect two reaction to the supreme judgement while we are waiting for the verdict. 1. Buhari has reduced the judiciary to an extension of the executive arm of government 2 The judiciary is no longer the hope of the common man. Meanwhile the same Buhari went to court 3 times challenging the victory of the then PDP even when an elected president came out publicly saying the election that brought him into power was widely rigged in his favour, yet Buhari couldn't get judgement in his favor and none of those who will post the above comment after the verdict came out to say our democracy is in danger nor the judiciary is in the hands of PDP led government. |
Your analysis is fair and and sqare. quote author=Officialgarri post=82520095] I think this Atiku is up to something which I can only consider to be the 'Buhari Strategy' How do I mean? Buhari challenged Obasanjo, Yaradua and Jonathan. He was the first runner up in all the elections— even though obviously fraudulent elections— and at the end, Nigerians remembered him for his consistency Infact, it had made him appear cheated and garnered sympathy. Atiku is also trying out same strategy.. and hopes to be considered by Nigerians someday..... Even his lawyers can't deceive him that he would win the case at supreme, but he needs to act cheated and also remain in the news If Buhari and Atiku couldn't unseat Yaradua in 2007 election which was described as the "most fraudulent election anywhere in the world", is it in this case that Atiku can unseat Buhari? Congrats to his lawyers though. More free money for them
|
Who else notice that Peter always try to form as if he look like usher Raymond? |
I know all along that they never dated. Biodun and Busola find themselves attractive to each other but Busola had not made her mind up to give Biodun exactly what he want even when he had not asked for it but both heart already knows. That fateful day that Biodun break the hymen was a day Busola would never forget as she never expected it that day but she couldn't resist Biodun cos she had every opportunity to run upstairs to raise alarm so that her sister would be aware of what Biodun is about to do. (I can hear a soft voice saying pls be fast my sis is upstairs) The subsequent sex they had was as a result of the first timer feelings which every lady always had when it was not a forceful sex that would make them avoid the man entirely. The sex was not a forceful sex neither was it consensual but it was an irresistible one that a lady can regret after reflection on how it all started. The above is what the Oracle says which Busola and Biodun can't deny. |
You can't pass disunity to the generation yet you handed over constitution that favour a particular part of the country to Ex president. Can we move to next page? |
I hope the 70 points ground charges they want to appeal includes the likes and shares on nairaland, Twitter, Facebook that make PDP believe they won the election? |
While other countries are developing their land with attractive facilities that is mind blowing and researching daily on how to improve on the existing technology, my country men are building churches with over a million capacity. I weep for my country. |
