Like what Lai Muhammed said during his screening at the upper chamber as a nominee ahead of ministerial appointment that PDP can enjoy being in opposition for 20years after he experience 16years as an opposition politician and see what it feel to be in opposition.

The rationale behind the charm is what I don't know but the proposal is a welcome development. If I am elected as a member of rep or Senate or even as a president, the first public holiday I would moved to cancel is any holiday that has to do with Islam and Christianity. I would choose an holiday to celebrate our heroes Nnamdi Azikiwe, Awolowo Ahmadu Bello, Anthony Enahoro, Fela etc rather than celebrating Jesus and Muhammed whose birthday and deathday has no significant to us as Nigerian. I would also proposed that a major festival across the country should be made a public holiday.

It is a believe and if you dig deep to the reason you will get to know better. The problem we currently having as people is that we were brainwashed to believed that our believe is barbaric and superstition while the religion we were introduced to is godly.... If you as an African pray calling the name of your grandfather who died years ago, you will be classified as an unbeliever who is calling on dead people while if you cal Jesus who is also dead you're assume to be a believer. Can you see why Africa will keep struggling with the adopted system of doing things? If someone is cut red handed stealing, you will still need a competent court to prove that he/She is guilty or not. And in most cases a smart lawyer can defend you and win the case even if you actually committed the crime and it will be upheld that you're indeed not guilty.
