Bandits will frustrate the agricultural sector in the SW while the bandits in the FGN ensure no food import through the SW borders. I remember the elders shouting about these things, but the Youths who do not know that there is something called "evil" could not understand. they called them "afenifebi". I pray the security arrangements put together by Iba Gani Adams succeed. |
Great. The vigilante will form part of the resistance force against the Uthmanic aggressor. |
Resurrection212:The people of Imo will decide, not someone who does not know his Fathers compound in Imo state. |
President M. Buhari is indirectly responsible for the attacks on Gov. Ortom. |
@OP, Those people you are calling Ipob may not necessarily be members of the organization. |
RenerdsMedia:You sound like an Igbo man. If you are one, please note that Igbos dont give up. Rise up and start looking for a way to raise capital for your business again. If it is selling a few things to start afresh, do it. If its engaging in menial job, do it. |
@Aunty Nafeesa, It is wrong for you to insinuate that the crime was committed by ESN. For now, the appropriate term as approved by the FGN for Media houses is "bandits". Please be guided. |
I am surprise to find one Muslim who says the truth. Very surprise, I hold this position that people who follow the religion according to their text are incapable of good judgement. It is either this Imam does not follow the religion according to the text, or I am wrong. I choose to stand with my position till I get more Muslim Sheiks or Imam who exercise good judgment on issues of justice and equity. |
The terrorist organization should know that the matter is in court, let the status quo be maintained. |
SarkinYarki:What should we do then? You forgot that It is the FGN that is supporting anarchy. By sending soldiers to flog community leaders in Igangan for protesting rape and kidnapping, they show clearly that they are in support of the aggression of the Fulanis. By providing every Fulani man with phone numbers of the officers of nearest barracks to them, they created anarchy. I want to believe you are among the simple who will prefer to die without a fight. |
@Uncle Bayo, the Yorubas walked us into this mess because of power. |
Will the shortsighted Southerner understand? Their hatred for the blessed ones had made all off them to be down. |
We all know that a day will come when the people will no longer take the killing of their youths. The evil ones were laughing at the dead that were thrown into Ezu river. They said 5%ers are 3rd class citizen, they can be murdered and nothing will happen. Today, the second class citizens are putting together a resistance force against the first class. Good luck to them in the defense of their land. No Igbo man should pity any Nigerian been dealt with by the first class citizens. Its possible the unknown gunmen are be spirits of the Igbo youths people murdered by the Fulani security forces. |
@OP, How will the Igbos defend themselves from the FGN sponsored violence if Ipob is dismantled? |
Thank you Oba. The killings are sponsored by the FGN using the Fulanis. They did something similar in Sudan. Ever heard of the J.a.njaweed? |
ESN should be deployed to Igbo speaking regions of Rivers. |
He must have gone to Mecca for Hajj, yet lies. |
The police cannot be trusted. If they have anything against the people, charge them go court. |
Berom people should lick their wound. They should fight the federal government supported bandit/Fulani the way they fought Biafra |
Using their fake religion to cover their depravity |
They foiled it because the arrangement is that Fulanis should terrorize only the Hausas and Northern minorities. |
Monogamy:Who will enforce the order when police stations are gradually disappearing in SS and SE? |
@ Is this the country of your dream? Should we not restructure or divide this country? |
Oshigun:He gave vehicles to police he does not control. Vehicles and weapons are not the problems here, the problem is that the same police controlled by the Fulanis are the ones aiding and abetting the bandits and terrorists. When will these governors show some wisdom? |
GeneralPula:No harm meant. Its just a commentary/analysis on a national issue. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:I pray they see. The North fears upsetting the Yorubas so much. Not because the Yorubas can hurt them in a conflict, but because their hold on the resources of this nation is facilitated by both the direct and indirect support of the Yorubas. If they had continued with idea of punishing the SW for daring them, the SW would have clearly seen the danger, thus driving them into the waiting hands of SE, SW and MB. My prediction is that the Federal government will call the Fulanis operating in the SW forests to order. They will do it so subtly that the Yorubas will think it was their effort that put a stop to it. Once there is relative peace, they will continue to dwell among them and to gradually take over those lands. The Fulanis dont mind waiting for 200 years. They are like a vulture waiting for the animal to die before feasting on the carcass. |
NEROSKY:Whatever will stall the progress of the South. Their people will continue to get the passport while the Southerners will be moping. Mazi said all these, I wonder why we are surprised about it! |
He should not bother with the names, Sheik Gumi showed us the people when he went into the bush to pay them a visit. They should be driven way from the forests in the MB, SE, SS and SW. Let them remain in NE and NW. |
@ OP, the term must is not right. The various units will negotiate. If SS for example, feels they will be better off as a country of their own, they should not be forced to form a new country with anyone. The same goes for other units. Everything should be negotiated. |
Dong2:No toxic bias. Its an observation which might be wrong. |
Correction, it was not the president that spoke, it was an aid called Garba Shehu. The president is incapacitated or dead, he is not capable of speaking. Therefore, dont take the statement serious. |
