Romance / Re: Will You Still Marry Her? by Akinife(m): 9:04pm On Jul 15, 2014
Yungwizzzy: More like the case of Esau in the bible

A woman should not trade her dignity for anything no matter what, talkless of her virginity!!

Being a jealous guy, sometimes I still find it difficult to fathom that my girl has been actually banged so hard by another guy before I met her

Trust me even if he goes ahead to marry her, women being who they are, she Will believe he owes her FOR LIFE and he dares not misbehave, this will make her have upper hand in the marriage, and you know when women are the boss??

Yungwizzzy will break up and quit that job, tho I might reconsider and take her back but I will NEVER go back to that job!!!

what's now the excess of loosing d virginity....
will u still trust her with ur friends and landlord?

U dated a lady for over 5yrs.
U met ha when u are in 300l and u PPI dated till u
graduated. And u met ha a virgin and u people agreed to keep it till after ur wedding night.
But after 3yrs of being jobless, she later secured a job for you in one big company where u are earning a heavy salary per month.
Things are now going well with you. You finally proposed marriage to her and she accepted.
After the proposal, tears begin to roll down her cheeks and you shockingly asked her what the problem is and
she confessed to you saying:
"I GAVE MY VIRGINITY TO UR BOSS BEFORE HE
ACCEPTED TO EMPLOY YOU IN THE COMPANY CUZ
THAT'S THE ONLY CONDITION HE GAVE ME IF YOU MUST BE EMPLOYED OR YOU WILL
CONTINUE TO REMAIN JOBLESS".
Assuming you are the guy, would you still go ahead with the wedding
REMEMBER:
SHE was the one that changed ur life.

as a friend ... i feel that for you to be able to tackle a particular problem, you should first understand the problem. In other words try and know the reason for him taking or doing those things in the first place and then offer him advice based on what you have heard. This is because people do things for different reason and unless you understand does reasons you cannot solve their problem
Health / Re: Nairalander Needs Help To Stop Drug Abuse & Addiction by Akinife(m): 11:16am On Nov 05, 2013
simplynola: Asking him to withdraw bit by bit like some said rarely works. For Heavens sake how can someone who is not in control of himself help himself. Even if you ask him to, he will only accept to please you and continue behind you. This is a case of addiction and moreso its got to do with drugs. It works with the brain which makes one behave irrational atimes. Mayb you should seek the help of a medical expert cuz i learnt to help someone addicted to cocaine, you still need to keep giving the cocaine while working on their withdrawal and thats where the medical experts are of great help.
you are absolutely right...... am with you

Business / How Small Businesses Can Boost Patronage by Akinife(m): 3:01pm On Oct 29, 2013
In today’s competitive consumer industry, small business owners must find strategic ways to increase patronage by customers, ADEMOLA
Customers are more inclined to patronising a business that goes the extra mile in marketing itself. Special treatments leave a positive impact on customers and keeps them returning to the business. Your inability to get enough loyal customers to patronise your small business should not make you despair. Analysts say entrepreneurs in the small-scale business category often face the challenge of how to grow their customers. According to them, what is required is how to generate new sales lead, as this is an essential skill for an entrepreneur. Experts note that there are a variety of age-old staple techniques and newer tools you can use to boost customer patronage and increase sales.

However, it’s best to understand the range of choices you have in order to determine which may best help your business reach new customers. Entrepreneurs should understand that newspaper readers may not be moved by Internet-based sales techniques. Similarly, business people who are accustomed with hiring only people they know may be better swayed by meeting you at a chamber of commerce gathering than accepting a blind invitation to connect on LinkedIn or Facebook. So, as an entrepreneur, it is your call to know the best means through which you can reach your target market.

In an interview with this correspondent, a business consultant, Mr. Goke Adebanjo, explained that sales and marketing are the engines of entrepreneurship. He stated that entrepreneurs must have both skills if they want to grow their businesses and increase their customer base. According to him, having the skills is not enough, but you have to be an expert in the ability to sell and market your products, especially if they are intangibles. Experts say it is important to conduct a market research to understand your target audience and their needs. They also state that you need to know how to determine which lead generation techniques are best to broaden your sales horizons, and how to increase sales by following several strategies to sell additional products and/or services to existing customers. Below are steps to help you increase customer patronage and boost sales for your small business, according to experts:

Networking

You can employ the old-fashioned method of networking, which requires you to get involved in community organisations, such as the chamber of commerce, or attending business functions, such as trade shows, experts say. Social functions like dinner invitations, book clubs, etc. can also lead to potential businesses. Experts say these are important ways to network and find new customers. According to professionals, networking has also taken a 21st Century twist on the Internet, with the rise in popularity of such websites as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Many businesses find that this type of networking, making contacts through friends or former colleagues, can lead to new customers. As a smart entrepreneur, you can take advantage of these channels to grow your customer base.

Encourage loyal customers

Your loyal customers are champions of your products. You should encourage them by giving them the right attention and care, as whatever treatment they receive from you will be publicised. Experts say you should use your business contacts, who have been happy with your products, to help generate references and referrals. Once you have sold to them, customers can help you to sell to others by offering positive testimonials and leveraging a refer-a-friend campaign created by your business. According to professionals, this technique also employs word-of-mouth marketing. Help the customers to help you by giving them the ammunition they need to tell your story to others. Don’t be afraid to ask if there is someone else you can talk to and also help with your services. As an entrepreneur, employ every legal strategy that will boost your sales and increase your profit.

Establish partnerships

This is another gainful strategy. Affiliate marketing is also crucial in your bid to grow your customer base, experts say. They state that you should look at non-competitive products or services that are reaching out to the same audience to see if there are ways you can collaborate through shared outreach efforts such as newsletters, mailings (online and offline) or co-branding opportunities. According to professionals, you probably can uncover a handful of like-minded products or services that are talking to your customers. It is advisable to suggest to these business owners ways your businesses can support one another. Your customers will see joint efforts as a value-added opportunity to reinforce their choice of brands. This might end up increasing your output and impacting on your turnover positively.

Advertise your business

This is one tool that requires spending. It is not out of place to spend money while trying to boost sales and productivity. Experts say typically, businesses are encouraged to spend three to five per cent of their revenue on advertising, but a small business needs to make sure that advertising is effective. According to professionals, one way to do this is to ask your customers where they heard about you so that you can measure what is effective. In addition, you also have to carefully pick your markets for advertising to make sure you’re reaching your target audience. If you’re targeting an older audience, newspaper ads might be the way to go. However, you’ve got to define your demographics before you develop your advertising or marketing plan. Good adverts attract customers to businesses, so ensure yours is shrewdly done.

Increase sales to existing customers

As you strive to increase your customer base, don’t neglect your existing ones. Small business analysts say in order to increase sales, many businesses believe the only way is to find new customers, but this strategy leaves out an obvious potential source of new sales. It’s much easier to get an existing customer to buy from you than to convince a new customer to take the plunge. Businesses that fall short of this, experts say, are forgetting about the low hanging fruit, which is their existing customer base. If you want to expand sales, the number one place to go is your existing customer base, because they already trust you. So, it is important for ywwwou to continue selling to your existing customers in a bid to boost sales and find new customers for your venture.

Business / 5 Ways To Minimize Your Customer Service Issues. by Akinife(m): 4:51pm On Oct 22, 2013
Managing customer service issues can be very time
consuming, yet it is an extremely important part of running your
online business. Without responding to customers in a timely
manner and meeting their needs, your online business will not
thrive successfully. Just as word of mouth marketing can
benefit in a positive manner from happy customers, people also
speak their mind when they’re unhappy with their experiences
from a business.
In fact, according to statistics, 68% of customers leave because
they feel poorly treated. (Source: TARP)
The best way to make sure that you offer great customer
service to your customers and clients is to make a high priority
when you do your business planning. Planning in advance how
you will effectively meet and maintain issues will make a real
difference in dealing with customer issues in a timely manner as
well as assuring that your business continues thriving
successfully.
Here are some tips and ideas for managing your customer
service:
1. Automate as much as possible. It’s important to automate
everything that you possibly can as long as your quality of
service will not be diminished. Autoresponders are most
efficient in delivering information automatically. A good
shopping cart software can automate the total sales process of
delivering digital products that were just purchased and sending
the customers receipts. There’s also software that can help you
maintain an online support desk where customers can create
personal tickets to submit their issues, and is very handy for
keeping track of all dialogue between customers and service
representatives. search google for such soft wares.
2. Communicate effectively. Many customer complaints are
caused by a simple misunderstanding of what they thought they
would receive. When you communicate effectively and
represent your products and services clearly you can avoid
many misunderstandings. Express exactly what they will
receive in detail and be honest about what they will NOT
receive if you’ve had other past issues of wrong assumptions.
If there are many customers who feel shortchanged because
other businesses have included a service that your company
does not, consider pleasing your customers by implementing
the additional service.
3. Create an FAQ page. An FAQ (frequently asked questions)
page is your friend indeed and can save you hours of
personally responding to customers’ questions. Many online
users are accustomed to consulting with a business’s FAQ
page, relieving them the time of having to write an inquiry email.
For this reason it benefits both parties. As you take note of
common questions that you are receiving from customers, add
them to your FAQ page to continue optimizing the benefits of
your page.
4. Hire a customer service representative. If your business has
been growing quickly, you may soon need to hire someone who
can quickly respond to customers questions and complaints.
The faster you deal with customer service issues, the happier
your customers will be and will remain as loyal customers.
Keep track of your response rate and the rate of which you are
able to deal with issues so that you can easily evaluate when
more workers are needed for hiring.
5. Invite feedback. Listen carefully to complaints and deal with
them quickly to cut down on future problems. Use customers’
complaints for the benefit of evaluating your products and
services. Customer feedback can help you improve any areas
that need improvement and can supply you with new ideas of
adding additional products and services. Caring about your
customers’ concerns is the backbone of keeping a business
running successfully.
As you seek to continually improve any weak areas of your
business, your customer service issues will also be reduced
and kept at a minimum. By keeping your customers a top
priority and keeping a good attitude while dealing with them,
they’ll more than likely be more patient because they know that
they can trust your business in taking care of their needs as
quickly and efficiently as possible.

Business / 5 Ways To Boost Your Sales Without Increasing Marketing Expenses by Akinife(m): 4:09pm On Oct 18, 2013
We all are looking for ways to increase our sales. That's a
given. But we don't necessarily want to spend more marketing
dollars to do it. Many times people will start additional
businesses or switch over to a new niche because they weren't
making enough in the niche they were in. However, that may
not be necessary.
Let's look at some ways you can boost your sales without
increasing your marketing expenses.
• Upsells/Cross-Sells - Using upsells and cross-sells in
your business can bring in a higher amount of money. When
someone buys one of your products, offer them a higher-priced
version of the same product or a related product. The higher
priced version of the same product might include coaching. An
example: someone buys an ebook from you on eating healthy.
Before the final check out, offer them the same ebook plus
coaching for a higher price. Or, offer them a related product,
such as a cookbook of healthy recipes. Many times people will
take you up on your upsell offer, and you have just increased
your sale amount.
• Joint Ventures - Find some joint venture partners that will
promote your product to their subscribers for either a share in
the revenue earned, or for a reciprocal promotion of their
product to your email list.
• Start an Affiliate Program - Recruit your own sales force
in the form of affiliates. Set up an affiliate program where
people who sign up will receive commissions on any sales of
your products they promote. You have the potential to make a
huge increase in sales when you're not doing all the work
alone.
• Keep in Contact with Previous Customers - People who
are already customers are much more likely to buy from you
again. Keep in touch with them and let them know when you
come out with any new products that relate to their previous
purchases.
• Offer a Guarantee - People are much more apt to buy a
product if they know they can get their money back if they are
unhappy with it. How will this increase sales? Most likely, you
will gain many more sales than the few refunds you have to
make. People want assurance before they buy.
If you notice, none of the above strategies cost you any more
money, except for the basic cost setting up an affiliate program.
Here's to more sales!
