I DON'T WANT TO START MENTIONING NAMES HERE BUT MANY OF YOU ARE JUST WONDERFUL,

I sent this post in when a "friend" in need came to me frustrated. I told him what I thought he should do = GO FOR MARRIAGE COUNSELLING WITH HIS WIFE IN THEIR FAMILY CHURCH. NEVER GO FOR EXTRA MARITAL AFFAIR.

He thought I was been partial because the wife is also a bit close to my family, so I told him I have a team of people with 1000 minds and that he should give me 3 days.

All I did was to print-out these responses and believe you me, its works. I visited their home with 2 copies, for both of them on Saturday. After service yesterday, I was there for a little chat, and I sensed the tension was dousing. And guess what, it was the wife that first call me this morning to say "THANK YOU"

The Broda-man too came into my house later to express his appreciation.
So, Nairaland is not just about SEX-SEX-SEX. You can get 'good counsel' from here too if you know how to go about it.
This is the second time that you GUYS are helping me solve some riddles. the first time was when I sent in a post on "How do I confess an act of adultery to my Spouse".

Sounds like you're trying to rationalize returning those 'sexy looks and appeals'. I don't know why you're talking to us about your marital problems when your spouse is the one you're meant to address. Could be that your SO is putting in work elsewhere and is dead beat by the time you get home.

Fellow NAIRALANDERS, how can I stop this constant response from my spouse.

Each time I am outside our home and I see all these sexy looks and appeals, I often console myself with the thought that someone is waiting for me at home, and that I will have all the fun am looking for as soon as I get home.
But on the contrary, it has become almost a regular response for me these days to hear my partner telling me; "I am tired", or "I am not feeling fine", or "I am not in the mood"

What is really wrong? How can I stop this PUNISHMENT?

from the way we are responding to this post it seems that majority of us are either afraid to talk (post) or we are not sure of what we do in following Christ.

I have witnessed the demise of several relations, friends & neighbours, but the one that still remain fresh in my mind till today is dat of my junior broda: Femmy (1968 - 1980). its been over 30years but i just cant forget U. Hope your innocent soul made it to God's bossom where i will meet u one day to part no more. adieu.

As for the poster, the earlier you go for a full text the better else u may be living with something more dreaded than STD.

However, I dont know how on earth do you think such a relationship like the one you talked about in ur post could last. better stop daydreaming, forget it as part of the old stuff you need to move to maturity.

As a Christian, one of the thing I have found difficult to understand is the way some people, church leaders, ministers, general overseers often defend their church/fellowship rather than the general interest of the Body of Christ.

Maybe some of us are not mature enough to know/discern which church or doctrine is the BEST.

So, can someone out there help advice on what to do to belong to the right FOLD/CHURCH.

1Cor 15:34  Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

1Tim 5:20  Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

Heb 10:26  For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

1Jn 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning ,

I don't know how some people will sit down to form a doctrine that accommodate sin despite all the scriptures above.

The word you hear from your pastor will not be the measurement for justification/judgment on the last day. The final authourity is in the WORD of God.  

Your pastor too will stand to be judged by the same WORD.
