luvinhubby:^^^^^^ is what is shown on that link really true? if yes, then Naija is in for a tough and terrible time ahead. |

I wish U what U wish me. |
Abali1:@Abali1 I want to appreciate your view and comments. they are very neutral. however you and I know very well that no Christian will pick the eve of xmass to launch a deadly attack on another Christian group. what will he be avenging for; *that the church took his portion of land to build their cathedral? *that the Rev father took his wife? *that he does not believe in Christmas? *or what ??The statement of the State Governor too was to distract attention of the citizen of the state, especially the Christians not to come out for a retaliation attack. else he should tell us if the church attacked was where he fellowship that will make his political opponent come looking for him there. It is obvious that some AGENTS OF DEATH are already let loose again in JOS. If the Chief Security Officer of the State is no longer capable of handling the situation in the State, he should be humbled enough to resign rather than using the lives of the citizenry to seek for sentimental cheap vote come 2011. As for the family of the dead, may God console them. And to the dead martyrs (because they died while in worship of God), I say RIP |
A barika odun tuntun oh! K'Eledua je ka s'opo odun loke eepe. |
@ olumogun @ D-sense what is the problem now. I normally appreciate the contributions and threads of you both so, why are you two here throwing words at each other. @post true talk but also remember that ATM machines now will print just the confirmation slip without releasing the money too. SOME men are now super glue. |
Matthew 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. and Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. pro01:I will not be surprised if to you there is no difference between the two scriptures. but let me try and help you; 1. good Christians and Bible students don't look for argument in what they read but inspiration. 2. Mat 23:14 was referring to Scribes and Pharisees (Those who presume they know what they do not know - Scribes, and those who are claiming to be righteous when they are rotten rags - Pharisees.) 3. Romans 10:13 however is referring to "CRIMINALS" like GEJ, who despite what they are still humble themselves to come to God. And I do not know of any man who is in the committee of those that approved which person is good enough to be answered. it is neither your duty nor mine to tell God who to answer or who is a sinner. appletango:So, the Pastor is not allowed to pray for anyone outside the members of redeemed? @ Becomerich? Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners,, All mankind are sinners, even God's elect; yea, those who are truly gracious and righteous persons; for there is no man without sin; and God hears such who cry unto him; such people Christ came to save; for such he died; and these he calls to repentance; every penitent sinner God hears: And by "sinners" in the scripture you quoted above it means such in whom sin reigns, who live in sin, and particularly impostors. The man that was healed takes up the word the Jews had made use of earlier to slight the person and ministry of Christ, Joh_9:24, and suggests, that had Jesus been a sinner, that is, an impostor, God would not have heard him, or have assisted him in doing the miracle just witnessed, That God will not support an imposture, or cover and encourage a fraud; but that Christ was heard and assisted, was a plain case of Gods approval. So going by your quotation, it is more applicable if we are talking about God hearing the prayers of Pastor Adeboye or not. Because the point here is why should the Pastor pray for "CRIMINALS", I still wants you to know that it is such SINNERS/CRIMINALS that prayers are meant for. Pls remember that even when God had done with King Saul because of disobedient, Samuel still maintained that he is obligatory to keep praying for him. It is not only Pastor Adeboye that should pray for GEJ, God said it is your civic responsibility (whether he is a sinner or not) |
Becomrich?:YEAH, if any criminal come to a pastor, they should be prayed for. And thank you for your insight about prayer. kindly take time to read few of these too; Leviticus 26:39-44 Psalm 51:1-4 Matthew 8:4 Acts 2:21 Romans 10:13 Luke 23:39-43. You and I may condemn a man while God sees him justified. Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
tpia1:now i know your specie : those who carry other people's load on their head and drag their own on the floor. keep it up. at least now i know that am causing someone a serious headache somewhere. ![]() |

Its NATURAL MOST THINS ABOUT WOMEN ARE WITH EXTRA. THAT IS HOW GOD MADE THEM. no offence pls. |
Olumogun:@olumogun, you are looking for trouble with this your thread. there are many people in the house (forum) who will not want to say anything about their real person talk-less of their real names. @ post my name AKINOLA *Akin is a root name for those believe to be warriors or toughened in those days, * Ola is synonyms to wealth. so when combined together it is AKIN-NI-OLA i.e mighty/toughened in wealth. |
yeah, cute and lovely thank God for his many blessings. while some are dying to have one, someone people are having 'extra' |
@ olumogun this is good and laughable. |
slap1:the trouble of celebrities sometimes. but I wish her a happy married life. |
I appreciate OLOMOGUN and ILEKE-IDI. Apart from these 2 people, I appreciate U. ![]() |
Why should anyone be surprise here? If a whole plane could disappeared without any trace, and a very big vessel carrier ( a ship) could be missing till today, what are ordinary computer-like machines that they will not fizzle out? Abeg, the race to Aso-Rock have started, somebody somewhere want to mass register some "ghost voters" or hat do you think? |
Very Painful. To all Naira-Landers, Cheer-up! Lets not mourn him too much. Lets find a way to immortalize him here on Nairaland (in our own way) through the help of the Moderators. And don't forget, the passing away of any beloved one is a good time for us to learn lesson and ask ourselves about "why am I still alive?" |
Aloy_Emeka:Just trying to create News or noise for TBJ again, eh As for the charges and the magistrate, what a confused style: granting a 'crazy-man' bail - N25,000, who will pay the bill - Fashola or Jonathan? |
@ topic who ever live in a glass house should not throw stone ![]() |
@ Olumogun, thank you for helping a sister i need. Sorry for not getting through to you fast enough on this. At least you got all the response already as shown ^^^ Tell your friend to keep hope alive to live. this is the only know cure for HIV for now - having WILL ti live, and taking proper medications |
Nothing is more painful than the death of a FRIEND. Many of us discuss our deep secrets on Naira-Land because we believe we have FRIENDS ONLINE. So, if indeed it is true that our BAWOMOLO is gone, that will be one death too many. R I P Brodaman |
Pls, your advice is earnestly coveted: I have a lady (just a friend), a young graduate, fresh from university, who came to me two days ago shedding tears. she just confirm from a comprehensive test run on her in her place of work that she is HIV positive. She has been working in the same organization for about a year now as a temporary staff, but with the help of one of her boss who happen to also doubled as her "man-friend", she stands the chance of becoming a permanent staff. But as part of the conditions, she was sent to the company clinic for a total medical check-up. now that its been confirmed that she is +ve; 1. what will she do as she stands the chance of loosing her job with this multinational, 2. what is her chance to still enjoy good life, 3. how will the 'boss' react when he finds out that she is infected (meaning that the man and his wife too are already infected by now) 4. is it possible that she could have been infected from the 'boss' because she maintained that she had kept to only him for about a year now 5. how will she break the news to her own family Pls, i need your FRIENDLY ADVICE so that we can jointly help a fellow in sorrow of heart. thanks |
