What did you do during your undergraduate?! Look for areas within that Biomedical Sciences that interest you and work on it as your research topic! I think that is easy to do.
@ pennstate. You are right ! That's exactly what I did. Very simple and the VO noticed I wasn't lying by telling her my research interest. The main thing is to stay REAL!

To all applicants, I wish you all success in your interview
Try to have a research topic cos I actually had that research topic that's why I was able to explain it to the VO even thou my course is not a research based course. As a serious student one should always have a proposed research topic that you find interest in and that's what really helped me.

Full version

Me: Good morning
VO: Good morning
VO : Pass me ur documents
Me : (Gave her my passport with I-20 in between)
VO : (looked through my I-20)
ME: (Watching for about a minute or so)
VO: So what's your research topic?
ME: ( I didn't hear what she asked oo) What?
VO: (Asked again)
ME: (Stuttered a bit) I'm just going for a Masters Degree in Mathematics.
VO: Yeah, but you should have a research you'll be working on.
ME: (Wondering...research ke? Na wa ooo) Okay, I'll be working on Development of Mathematical Models that can be used to solve real life problems, ranging from health to production and so on (I didn't plan for that because I don't have a research, but I was very well prepared prayerfully. So I just said what came to my mind sha)
VO: (Nodding and typing very fast, also taking momentary CLOSE look at my I-20) Okay Okay. (Picked the white paper and passed it to me with my I-20, then she said the usual stuff) You'll need this (I-20) at the Port of Entry
ME: (sincerely I thought she wanted to pick a blue paper because she had the highest denial before I got interviewed. Infact, when the CGI told me I will be next to 'patronise' the woman, I just started hoping for the worst, but expecting the best. Just like that? What did I say wrong? Now now? Was she in a hurry? I started wondering why this woman will not allow me prove myself by at least asking more 'usual' questions. On seeing the white paper, mehhn, I just grabbed it with my I-20 and rushed out before she'll change her mind, because I was asked just a question, which was about research. Omo na case of answer one question, get one free visa oo. All thanks to God. After I initially got a TB, God vindicated me. FAITHFUL GOD. Actually, I prepared very well and had the research topic for my mind but I am not going for a research based course.

Really, its just like calling Mtn customer care. Listen to the options carefully and press the number for the option you want. Press the number for non immigrant visa when it's called and then press the number to request to speak to a representative. You need to have patience and plenty credit.
Thanks bro. I really appreciate

Good work guys. I got a TB on Monday instead of getting interviewed, as they said my barcode wasn't the same as the one they had on their system. I had to pay another fee this morning for another appointment.
