If you're coming here for graduate studies, abeg carry your undergraduate notebooks come o. I dropped some books at home and I'm still angry at myself, the ones I have here really helped alot. Also if you don't have a solid background, talk to your graduate coordinator. If you go take advanced classes like that, na OYO you dey o.

Hmmmm, How do i start this amazing story? Anyways, let me just start anyhow since this is not a GRE essay. I doubt if some of you still recognize me. this is akins2016, i feel like analyzing my experience as a mathematician during this past semester. First all, i will say that studying mathematics in this america is not as easy as anyone would think or maybe i am the dumb ass person who knows. It's been up to 4 months since i had the time to write on here as i was facing so many things in grad school LOL. All courses seems hard when everything started. as much as i tried to get people to study with, my brothers and sisters, the thing no pure oo. People here no too get joy for face oo some of them will even tell you to go drop the course if you no know am instead of them to explain things to you, one Indian guy told me this.Oga Oludare01 you are absolutely right. But i was able to get 2 Americans wey we kon study together.Also, i and some Ghanaian friends no relent ooo, we tried our best to study together as we were both facing this same problem. we were united to make things go well for us, it wasn't really easy. Anyways to cut the long story short, we met with our graduate coordinator and we were able to iron things out as he helped us figure out how to go about things and gave us some nice strategies I thank God that the most stressful semester of my life turns out to be the best so far (GP wise). This is not a cooked story as person like Tods and fesobi can testify to this. Even the indian that was forming boss is now having issues i doubt he finished this semester well. I just hope things are okay for him too sha. My advice for anyone coming here to study any tough course like mathematics or so should prepare his or her mind to face something tough but should not relent as hard work pays here. No saddists just like Oludare01 have said. Above all, I thank God for this semester. If i remember more, i will post more.

I seen couple of missed flight ,...... It best to be at your boarding gate at least an hour or hour and half in advance for those with connecting flight .. Note that the time the flight will take off is different from the boarding time so make good allowance to be at your departure gate in good time

The good thing with the US is that they would put you on the next flight in most cases for free , but if you are to catch a bus or meet someone or arrive at your destination in good time so its not too late in the night then missing your flight disturbs that . Be mindful of your departure time and set an alarm if you have to

Cob repeated the question which I still repeated the same answer (looked at me like what's this man saying )

Cbp ok do have a nice time and enjoy your stay (before you start saying bs again)
Meanwhile , the guy before me was taken to a room only God knows why.
I missed my connecting flight the next day after a friend who we landed together but his own was new York came to meet me in Newark so he will take his connecting flight from Newark to Houston delayed me with talks sort of . also I was confused of the flight time I thought it was 12 59 not knowing it has changed in the boarding pass to 12 29. Infact, it was a long long story.
Thanks to imperious, lagosisherhome(Ohio is now my home grin

) and everyone on here. I really appreciate. We shall all make it in life. Stay bless and stay out of trouble.

I just remember now that you won't have phone when you landed. Probably, you have to use the airport phone booth. Get some $1 change with you before leaving Nigeria if you can or you find change at the airport kiosks.

Yes u cant wait till u arrive because it might not be available or more expensive. ..... you can check booking.com or other sites and look for that exact hotel and then make a booking now. .. it will reserve it for you . Some sites have free cancellation. Check that also incase u need to cancel it .... u would need to put a card details but sometimes it just to hold d booking and incase u dont show they take it from d card. But if u show then u pay at the hotel desk .

How I wish I can help when you guys say accommodation in NY but the issue is I'm married and wifey is an American and in conducts... you know what I mean. Well, let me know when you're coming, probably I can help you seek help from relatives who also live in Staten Island. Time of your arrival in Newark and connecting to Ohio is very important, hopefully it won't clash with my work time. I work all this weekend and busy most time in weekday. We can work the time out sha.

If the hotel option, the cheap and closest to the airport (like 5 mins drive) that I have used before is Days Inn at Elizabeth. They have free airport shuttle and wifi. I check the price now and it's $69/night. Hotels get filled quickly in neighboring NJ cities because of NYC and tourism.

So sorry bro. You have to prove to the vo that you a serious student by giving him or her a cogent reason why you chose the school . come up with a resear ch topic and not a rehearsed speech. Try to refire and prepare very well and you will get it. Gud luck
