SAFP run was scary, I hope she has bad start. Okagbare has saved energy, who says she can't compete in 4 events. D good new 4 Nigeria is dat d Ukrainians are not looking sharp, but dey also have two good 200m runners to join their relay team. If blessing breaks her African record, she would win dis race. |

ola_pluto: Eager to see what English Gardner has left in the tank. She ran an eye-bulging heat. 100m women after these hurdles. Her eye's are scary, but I expect her to be one of d fastest losers. |

bambostic: Well done to Ugonna for even making the World Championship team. She's only 21 and recently switched allegiance from the US to Nigeria. She's already Nigeria's 100m hurdle Champion from her first appearance at the National Championships in June, and she finished 2nd there behind Odumosu in the 400m hurdles I think...
She's technically a good hurdler but I think needs to get stronger and faster. She should be encouraged because she has a lot of room for improvement! Ugonna was d wrong choice 4 dis . D girl dat ran a 55.30 at d warri caa was meant to have been our second representative, unless she was injured. |

I simply don't understand why she had to be nervous in dis first round. She has dis habit of getting disqualified or not performing at important times. |

deene: bros please congratulate her before saying this ...tanx.
up 9ja Nigeria has never won a gold at d WC, and Okagbare is our only hope. I believe dat she would do it in d 200m. She is unlucky to be competing against some of d all time greats in her events. |

deene: the Olympics debacle was not because of her poor start ...
she chocked on d biggest stage ... she has moved past that now ...
she has been so consistent this year. Blessing did not chock at d big stage. Last year she was not just good enough. Leading to d Olympics she was about sixth in new York , and she ran 10.99 and 10.96 4 d first time with about two weeks to d Olympics. How do u then expect her to run a 10.7 at d Olympic, but dis year she has proven to be an accomplished sub 11 runner. |

Nigeria 3 female athletic in d 100m tomorrow morning would give us an indication of how we would perform in d female 4 x 100. If Gloria runs faster Dan d Ukrainian girl in her heat, then we will be in 4 a bronze in d relay. I think we would need to break our national record to even get a bronze. |

Nigeria has entered 3 runners 4 d female 100m. Their performance would give us an idea of how dey would be able to compete against d Ukrainian and others 4 d bronze medal. |
