PoliticsRe: A Cabal In Control Of The Old Man – Dele Momodu Laments Buhari Govt by akoaki(m): 6:27pm On Apr 07, 2018
I wish all nigerians could realise the damage that has been done to their lives by poor governance. Many still think that, one day, God will answer their prayers and things will get better for them. That is not going to happen because "hope is not a strategy". What needs to be done is for people to set aside tribal, religious and ethnic sentiments and vote for young , well educated, enlightened and energetic persons to occupy positions at local, state and federal levels and also continue to participate in governance even after elections.

Nigerian youths, think, think and think now.
Organise yourself, work together and deliver yourself from the claws of the slave masters. This may be the last chance you have .

Wen I see educated naija youths supporting buhari, I know we r in deep shiit.
Attending some school doesn't mean one is educated. It could also mean that the person has been under-educated, mis-educated or dis-educated. Many Nigerian youths are being mis-educated by our institutions today, especially the church.

It is not just comedy in the church. Today, the word church means comedy.

Somebody is bringing our stolen money to buy Ekiti state.

Very intelligent question. Your head is correct. Political, religious and traditional leaders in Nigeria behave the same way. That explains why there is deadly poverty in the land. Imagine a serving governor dressed in agbada in his house dancing after a ludo game ; or a serving senator dancing all over town like a drunken tout, or the one singing around town like a parrot.
Shame on pastors and imams who preach to their congregation to always pray for Nigerian leaders. I'm not sure they deserve such prayers but curses.

[quote author=friimarket01 post=66221179]This is great. Once a new technology comes out in a country scientists all over the world begin to work to replicate that invention but here in Nigeria we are still trying to replicate 1959 technology without success.[/quolte]

Your head is correct.

Nigeria wont go past the group stage in the WC. Croatia and Argentina will beat them. Don't know why some of you are having hope with these average set of footballers. Anyway, i wish them good luck at the mundial.
Your head is correct. Average players indeed. Even Poland was better in the first friendly.

In Nigeria today, lying is a lucrative trade. Teach your child early to lie so that when he grows he could become a minister or governor.

When will Fashola fix the death traps on Lagos - Abeokuta expressway. I now know that good grammar is not same as good governance. There is too much suffering in Nigeria.

we seem to like drama in dis country
Yes we do. See the way most politicians dress like clowns and comedians as in nollywood movies- bogus flowing gowns, thick and tall caps and dark goggles during official engagements. They pay more attention to fashion than to their job. Very sluggish and nauseating. I wonder if our leaders watch television and see how smart and brilliant leaders are in other climes, especially at official functions. Bunch of lazy and greedy people.

Unbelievable!!!

So, Boko Haram now has a spokesperson.

The leadership problem Nigeria is facing, even river Jordan cannot wash it off.

My only prayer is, even in this ups and downs the level headed youths should make headway.
How can the youths make headway when there seems to be no way ahead in the country.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome On Spiritual Wife Or Husband: There Is Nothing Like That by akoaki(m): 7:36pm On Mar 22, 2018
Why use the phrase " one of most respected" to describe the man? Politicians and the clergy are the worst enemies of Nigeria. So stop celebrating them if you wish Nigeria well.

I've never seen this type of country before, where politicians dey steal like this, yet the citizens are not doing anything about it
The citizens inaction or docility is rooted in religion, culture, ignorance and tribal considerations.

CuteMadridista:
This scammer benefits hugely from the corruption that's eaten deep into every sector in Nigeria. a chunk of the monies our leaders embezzle find their way into churches

Our Polithiefians would embezzle 30B then donate 2B to a church or spend it building a church and handing the keys to the church over to the pastor who wouldn't ask where he got such a money, our Christians would hail such a politician and talk about how he has "fear of god" and should be voted for 2nd term then the cycle of embezzlement continues. So we keep seeing massive churches springing up, our pastors with private jets living in mansions surrounded by shantytowns. the saddest part is that the worst is yet to come. soon all Nigeria would be able to boast about are massive churches and (almost) nothing else
See the number of likes given to your brilliant opinion. Just nine. I'm sorry for Nigeria and its people. Just imagine if all those useless church and mosque buildings are manufacturing industries.......
Nigeria has been wasted.

HigherEd:
I remember a time someone I knew(An Anglican) went to redemption camp and stayed close to the alter and she confirmed seeing real fire burning on the Altar. She said some of the aides closeby tried to put it off by extinguisher but the extinguisher deflected until Adeboye said they should leave it.

Now personally I grew up as an Orthodox ECWA boy and walking in the miraculous isn't exactly what they teach. But with my experience with the new generational ECWA pastors who seem to be more Pentecostal than pentecostals I saw strange things.

I remember during a deliverance service in ECWA Agege some years ago. The prayer became intense and some of my friends started falling and some where screaming. I was terrified so I opened my eyes and thankfully I was able to evade a lady rotating towards me. But before I knew it as prayer became intense I saw a Bird fly over someone's head with a loud sound. I closed my eyes in shock, but to my greatest surprise it seemed I was the only one who heard. So I tell you friend there is more than meets the physical eyes in this world.
